With the idea of using human characteristics in accessing system resources, biometric becomes one of the ways. And fingerprint becomes one choice to secure systems, because it is unique and widely acceptable. In this paper, we define an efficient verification system based on biometrics, which is hoped to access real system resources without physical key. We especially research the fast and reliable minutiae matching algorithm to improve the performance efficiency. As we know, the quality of the input fingerprint images has an effect on the performance of a minutiae extraction algorithm. So we study an improved fingerprint enhancement algorithm capable of finding the correspondences between minutiae stored in template and the input image without an exhaustive search. And this algorithm can improve the clarity of valley and ridge structure. The results of experiment show that the method can improve the matching efficiency.

With the development of wireless mobile communication, more and more wireless data services have gradually emerged, calling for effective pricing mechanism due to the nonapplicable traditional one. In this paper, a novel hybrid Diff-SerV pricing method for wireless data services is proposed, which considers radio resources, service characteristics as well as quality of service (QoS). The kernel of our algorithm is to distinguish service types and related the resource cost with QoS level. Therefore, it could be viewed as a method for resources scheduling, which can effectively exploit the scare radio resources to support more service users and meanwhile provide better QoS.

A topic detection and tracking method combining semantic analysis with Suffix Tree Clustering (STC) algorithm is presented. A feature selection using NLP algorithm was introduced to select the noun, verb and name entity as the input of STC. Focusing on the topic drifting, we formed the VSM of cluster by the key words extracted from the nodes of suffix tree by mutual information algorithm. After the similarity computing of clusters and topic detection and tracking, a semantic analysis was introduced to filter the words with same meaning and analyze the semantic structure of words in label of cluster. Finally a content-relevant description was generated for each topic. The experiments showed that this method can detect and track the topics from the news articles effectively.

The technology of two-dimensional string matching is applied broadly in many information processing domains. A good two-dimensional string matching algorithm can effectively enhance the searching speed. Computers are so important tools used in classroom. Yet most of them provide static slides in the project mode, which are not attractive to children, especially to the younger ones. This paper presents a 2D freehand sketching system. Unlike the traditional 2D animation tools, which are created by experts, it helps novices create a wide range of animations quickly. 2D coordinate input for generating strokes on a user-share like 2D canvas, which makes it possible that novice can sketch freehand in 2D space and make animations with no limitation. The system is based on B/S, which is possible for participants make animations together, especially for classroom teaching. A novel optimization points resampling enabled participants to transfer data much effectively. It also supports translation, rotation, scale and other important motions of sketching animation. The track based method made creating animations as easy as drawing. Teachers with this system could design and created their own animation quickly, and will have a good interaction with students.

We input the temperature and humidity information, which was tested in new air channel and return air channel by the sensors, into the Programmable Logical Controller (PLC) through the analog input module. Williams Creativity Test B (WCTB) and Adolescent Scientific Creativity Scale (ASCS) were used to measure the creative affective and scientific creativity for 550 middle school students. In these students, 70% of them were selected to be as training samples, and the others to be as testing samples. Gene expression programming (GEP), generalized regression neural network (GRNN) and multivariable linear regression (MLR) were used for modeling and testing. The result showed the fitting error of GEP model was the lowest compared with the errors of GRNN and MLR models.

In this paper, we propose an accurate, robust and swift registration method of magnetic resonance (MR) and 3D ultrasound for percutaneous renal intervention. We refine the traditional 1CP algorithm with a pre-registration Procrustes initial alignment to improve the accuracy and efficiency. We propose the orthogonal feature extraction principle to increase the robustness while reducing the human interaction required during the registration. The accuracy, robustness and efficiency performance of the proposed registration method is examined via experiment on real human data.

Due to the superiority of structure, four wheel independent drive electric vehicle (4WID EV) provides great potential for direct yaw control. In the process of driving, it's very necessary to detect and suppress the tire skid in real time. In order to suppress the tire skid and achieve reasonable torque allocation, a novel method is proposed to detect the tire state and determine the constraints of torque allocation. ADAMS/Car was used to establish vehicle model for dynamic simulation. Vehicle's ramp steering on the good road and on the road with split adhesion coefficient was simulated respectively, when the initial velocity of vehicle is 60km/h and the slop of ramp steering is 15deg/s. Lateral acceleration, slip angle and yaw rate for the two different roads were studied comparatively. Lateral acceleration, yaw rate and slip angle can be controlled well by independent torque control based on the constraints of torque allocation, which makes it possible for vehicle to move along the objective trajectory.
