The aim of this study is a practical analysis of the innovative yet non-invasive use of a method obtaining complex human and animal limb geometry on the basis of human and animal limb with its main goal to develop a personalized prosthesis. The hereby article presents an overview of widely known and used external evaluation methods as well as inner limb stump geometry for the sake of fabrication of upper and lower limb prosthesis. A different approach has been presented to limb geometry modeling which is featured by a great shortening of time with a patient due to the use of alginate mass. Because of a lack of possibilities to get limb stump geometry, in the experiment a healthy human and animal limbs were used. The methodology to get a complex human and animal limb shape, presented in this article, involves in the first place the realization of negative cast with the use of alginate mass and secondly positive cast with the use of plaster. The following stages of work include healthy limb 3D scanning and 3D printing in order to make a real-life model. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Body area networks are growing in use and complexity, with many individuals carrying around several devices that have interconnection capabilities. Devices may offer internet connectivity, storage, media recording and playback, image or audio capture, and numerous other capabilities. Some may house recently captured data;others may house users’ older data or have direct or indirect access to data from subscription providers. Users may enter into range of other providers who may provide a myriad of services ranging from information to environmental interaction. While limited interoperability standards (such as Bluetooth) exist, these are not full stack connection solutions. In many cases, users are left unable to access (or unsure as to how they access) services available from their devices or infrastructure providers. This paper presents a paradigm for data sharing and use as part of a Blackboard Architecture boundary node discovery (BABND) protocol for defining available data and other services. The basics of the BABND protocol are described and its use for data sharing is detailed. Creating an Integrated Model of a Technical System with Use of the Mechatronic Features 1

In the work the description of the creation way of an integration of the virtual model with the virtual controller was presented. In order to integrate the control system with the executive subsystem, a method of defining mechatronic features (MOE) has been proposed, which refer to the drive along with its operation logic as a set of objects, consisting of objects such as: functional features (FOE), coupling relations (RSF) between FOE, sensory features (SEOE), feedback relations (RSFSE) between FOE and SEOE, signal features SOE, a transformation relation (RPM) associated with a given MOE. The work describes the process of creating the integrated model in relation to the Stewart platform, which is the main executive element of the car driving simulator for people with mobility dysfunctions. The 3D model of the considered system was created in the MOE description in the Siemens NX PLM software environment. The virtual controller was prepared with use of B&R Automation Studio software. The OPC server is the integrator that allows to simulate the mechatronic function of the system. In the considered case, the OPC server enables the exchange of an information between the 3D model in the MOE description and the virtual controller using SOE. The developed way of integrating the virtual machine model with the virtual controller allows to minimize the risk of malfunctioning of the real system. The presented methodology allows creating the integrated model in the control context, using various programming environments, however, both the geometrical form of the model and the control algorithm can be changed constantly. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The main objective of the UNIVECS (Study conducted as part of the Project: UNIVECS "Validating an evaluation system of university degrees based on a Social Cohesion model" (Ref. EDU2016-78065R), financed by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, and supported by EU FEDER funds.) project is to know the extent to which the institution moves towards social cohesion as a benchmark to evaluate university careers, and to observe which contributions are made in relation to the study object. The objective of the study that we present, conducted in Mexican universities, is to provide evidence for validating the Evaluation Model and its adaptation in Mexico ("Cultural Validation of the evaluation instrument for Social Cohesion UNIVECS in Mexican universities" (Ref. INV18-01-19-06), financed by the Subprograma Atracció de Talent 2018 of the Vice-Rectorate of Research of the Universitat de València;in collaboration with UNAM, and thanks to support from the Ibero-American Network of Researchers about Evaluating Teaching (RIIED).). To do so, discussion was used with university teachers and students about the social cohesion concept in relation to a series of evaluation dimensions to know how they perceive it in their institution. The methodology was followed by 11 discussion groups at three Mexican universities. The webQDA qualitative analysis programme was run to perform the content analysis. The results obtained from four discussion groups, formed by teachers and students from one institution, are presented. The study concluded that the evaluation proposal is capable of identifying different obstacles and facilitators between study populations (teachers, students). Information was provided that the participants stressed the most to indicate more frequent or priority aspects. This study allowed us to offer an analysis tool and useful evaluation system for self-assessments and institutional diagnostics about the social cohesion concept in university careers by follo

It is enough to have 3 basic stages of the modules in the SPD of a diversified corporate network: (F) - the method of submitting the request, i.e. the method of forming the expression of the information needs of the system user (S) - the function of the correspondence of the electronic resource to the request the degree of compliance with the request and the found electronic resource;(V) - method of presenting electronic resources. Combining these three stages for models, methods and software modules of the AML, we call FSV technology (FSV platform, FSV Framework). FSV technology is an instrumental software platform based on a client-server architecture, integration and modification of models, methods and algorithms of AML in the information environment of corporate networks. The overspread of corruption in today’s world is considered one of the major global problems, one that has affected almost every country in the world, developed or underdeveloped, throughout history. The specific case of institutionalized corruption, normally associated with the political structure of a country, is particularly heinous because it can be very difficult to expose and fight. In the case of Brazil, in recent years, major corruption scandals have arisen and completely shaken the national political environment. For centuries society was left defenseless in the face of such problems;however, supported by recent legislation on government compliance and transparency, the use of Data Mining and Data Analytics can offer important tools for society in the combat of these old and condemned practices of corruption. Violence against women stems from gender inequality, interfering with how women live, fall ill, and die. The consequences of these violations lead to a demand for support from social services and for qualified professionals to provide care to women in such situation. This study has used a game named Violetas: cinema e ação no enfrentamento da violência contra a mulher (Violets: movie & action in confronting violence against women) as an educational technology for reflection on this theme. This study’s objective was to identify and analyze the professionals’ perceptions of violence against women from the perspective of gender. This qualitative study was conducted with 30 professionals of Casas da Mulher Brasileira (Brazilian Women’s Houses) in three of Brazil’s federative units. The data were collected from Critical-emancipative Workshops. Data treatment was performed with thematic content analysis supported by the webQDA software. Results led to three empirical categories: Implications of gender inequality in violence against women;Violated bodies: the feminine profane and sacred;The (in)visibility of violence against women. The professionals’ perceptions of violence against women emphasized the importance of understanding gender issues which compose this historically constructed social phenomenon in avoiding its recurrence and blaming the victim, as well as in the deconstruction of society’s sexist standards. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Qualifying tests of new vehicles are aimed at showing that the manufactured one meets the requirements of the user and are carried out by authorized research institutions, most often as proving ground tests. In such tests, it is important to make appropriate initial assumptions, including those regarding the speed of the vehicle being tested. Determining vehicle speed during tests has a direct impact on recorded loads, which shapes the results obtained. The article presents the use of the beta statistical distribution to determine vehicle speed. It allows shaping the driving speed in such a way that the maximum and average values in a given test meet the initial assumptions resulting from the operation profile. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Identifying the precise Heart Sounds (HS) positions inside a Phonocardiogram (PCG);otherwise, Heart Sounds Segmentation (HSS) is a vital phase for the automatic examination of recordings of HS, permitting for the categorization of pathological proceedings. Analysis of HS signals (explicitly, PCG) in the last some decades, particularly for automated HSS and also classification, was largely learned and also stated to encompass the possible value for detecting pathology precisely in medical applications since the bad outcomes in these stages will ruin or shatter the HS detection system’s efficiency. Therefore, the PCG detection issues to implement a new efficient algorithm are required to be discussed. Here, the recently published pre-processing, segmentation, Feature Extractions (FE), and also classification techniques along with their top-notch of PCG signal examination were reviewed. Associated studies are contrasted with their datasets, FE, and the classifiers that they utilized. This effort aims to analyze all the research directions in PCG detection techniques. While fifth-generation (5G) communications are being rolled out around the world, sixth-generation (6G) communications have attracted much attention from both the industry and the academia. Compared with 5G, 6G will have a wider frequency band, higher transmission rate, spectrum efficiency, greater connection capacity, shorter delay, wider coverage and stronger anti-interference capability, so as to meet the various network requirements for industries. In this paper, we present a survey of potential essential technologies in 6G.
