Protection of gas pipelines from corrosive effects is an urgent problem of the oil industry in Azerbaijan. Currently, in order to protect gas pipelines from corrosive effects, various methods are used, among which the insulation of pipeline surfaces using polymer coatings holds a special place. In this paper, the goal is to develop a program for predicting reliability indicators (water permeability and adhesive strength of the coating) of gas pipelines. In this paper was presented and discussed a numerical model of a hybrid wind-solar power plant was created in Matlab®/Simulink software. A parallel connection between two potential renewable energy sources has been proposed: photovoltaic panels (PVs) and the wind turbine. For numerical simulations, environmental data were used with wind and solar data for Katowice, Silesia City. One of the main requirements for the created numerical model of a hybrid power plant was to ensure the possibility of changing the most important simulation parameters. Therefore, in the photovoltaic part of the numerical model, it is possible to change the amount of PV panels, their efficiency, and surface area. As for the wind turbine part of the numerical model, it is possible to alter some of the parameters, e.g. swept area, the minimum (cut-in) wind speed, and maximum (cut-out) wind speed. The developed numerical model also includes batteries for which the value of their capacity can be changed. In this model, it is also possible to modify the value of the average daily power demand of the designed installation. The developed numerical model of the hybrid power plant can be used for preliminary estimation and selection of basic components of a hybrid wind-solar power plant. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The process of processing and sending mail is quite complex and requires automation. Sometimes several automated and information systems can be involved in this work. And then the question arises of integrating such systems both within the country and with international postal systems. The article analyzes the ways of integrating the postal system of the Republic of Kazakhstan with international postal systems. Also, an important issue is the optimization of logistics flows in mail processing systems. The article discusses the issue of identification of the control object, which is a bucket conveyor used to transport loose material of the heterogeneous gravimetric composition. The purpose of the identification process is to define a mathematical model of the actual bucket conveyor operating in the hard coal enrichment plant to optimize the energy consumption of its supply system. Observation of the actual working conditions of bucket conveyors shows that the basic parameter that affects the uniformity of the conveyor’s operation, and thus influences its mechanical durability and its energy consumption optimality during the feeding phase is the speed of a bucket movement which is unevenly loaded with the transported stone material. Legal information retrieval (LIR) depends on identifying facts or predications in texts and retrieving correspondingly relevant legislation, company policies, and the like. We propose an approach for the matching process that relies rather on aspects reflected in facts and predications than on the specific wording. The users define and manage blueprints as standardized representations of aspects that correspond to their mental models of facts and predications. In this paper, we demonstrate our prototypical system Contexter that operates on these blueprints as controlling elements of its retrieval process. The system takes the manually defined blueprints as seeds and tries to automatically detect further valid variants of these blueprints that the user can finally confirm or reject. This user-driven and semi-automatic process supports the user in enriching the base of aspect patterns and, finally, to improve the systems retrieval capabilities.

Networks are very important in the world. In signal processing, the towers are modeled as nodes (vertices) and if two towers communicate, then they have an arc (edge) between them or precisely, they are adjacent. The least number of nodes in a network that can uniquely locate every node in the network is known in the network theory as the resolving set of a network. One of the properties that is used in determining the resolving set is the distance between the nodes. Two nodes are at a distance one if there is a single arc can link them whereas the distance between any two random nodes in the network is the least number of distinct arcs that can link them. We propose two algorithms in this paper with the proofs of correctness. The first one is in lines with the BFS that find distance between a designated node to every other node in the network. This algorithm runs in O(log n). The second algorithm is to identify the integer k, such that the given graph is k-metric dimensional. This can be implemented in O(log n) time with O(n2) processors in a CRCW PRAM. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

At present, most of the persons are suffering from eyesight. Their food habits and their genes will create eyesight. To test eyesight, there is a manual approach that consumes time as well as money. The noted disadvantages such as the need to take more care personally while interacting with an unknown environment and need to collaborate with other organizations for the charity of testing the eyesights. To avoid these inconveniences, the proposed approach is required which automatically tests the eyesight for right and left eyes using IoT. This smart vision approach using IoT will test eyesight for numerous users and will generate reports separately. That report sent to the user mobile. The virtual software developed uses IoT which enables checking of the sight functionality and the report is sent to the user mobile. In this, the virtual environment is created where IoT devices and networked computer vision devices are connected to test the eyesight. The proposed approach is demanded and is required in this modern and future culture too. Many benefits like consultancy price-cutting transport cost-cutting, time is reduced, speed up in generating reports are achieved. This is a future demanded revolutionary approach which directs many online spectacle shopping sites. Recently, the biggest change in machine learning has demonstrated its ability to solve super resolution (SR) problems. Deep learning (DL) has been successfully applied to solve such problems. One of the most commonly used categories of SR is single image super resolution (SISR) which aims to reconstruct a high-resolution (HR) image from its low resolution (LR) image. This paper presents a deep neural network DNN based on convolutional Wavelet Transform for SISR. The DWT is applied to the LR image to divide it into various frequency components. Then, our deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) is fed with only the approximated image while dismissing their details in order to remove noise. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, extensive experiments are performed using Set5, Set14, and urban 100 datasets. Air pollution is a global problem that directly affects the health of living beings;the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that about 7 million of people die each year from exposure to polluted air. Having a prediction model for these air pollutants is an essential source of information for the proper prevention of health and life. There are many methods, and models for predicting air quality, almost all of them focused on large cities in the world. However, there are no models for cities considered underdeveloped and with high air pollution. Under this approach, the present project implemented an air quality prediction model for air pollutants (PM2.5, NO2, and 03). This is a proposal based on a method that combines a recurring neural network architecture LSTM and the increase of characteristics through a clustering process with K-means. The efficiency of our model was evaluated with the mean absolute error (MAE) and the mean square error (RMSE) and compared with machine learning algorithms: (Linnear Regression, K-Nearest, Random Forest, Decision Tree, and LSTM). Our proposed model (LSTM K-means) was more efficient than the traditional machine learning algorithms for regression;in the case of particulate matter (PM25) prediction, an MAE of 1.5 and RMSE of 2.39 was obtained, for Nitrogen Oxide (NO2) an MAE of 0.05 and RMSE of 0.06. For Ozone (O3), an MAE of 7.5 and RMSE of 9.81 was obtained, which are the minimum values compared to other algorithms. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

This research aims to develop a computer vision based assistant system called "ViHab" for physiotherapy by analyzing physical posture from the digital image processing and machine learning on an Android-based smartphone so that patients can perform physical therapy anywhere conveniently in the everywhere concept. The patient's physical therapy records are stored in a cloud-based database. Doctors can therefore monitor the physical behavior of the patient in more details by the system's visualization dashboard. The preliminary result showed that the pose of physical therapy can be detected from the proposed system to grade the performance of rehabilitation.
