Internet of things has infiltrated all corners of the world by providing distributed intelligence to all objects making them smart. From small wearables to smart homes to smart cities, IoT has proven to be a substantial part in all facets of life. Safety of the data collected from IoT devices that can make a whole city smarter is of utmost importance. On such a large scale, one malignant intrusion can lead to leakage of thousands of public data, thereby compromising privacy. On an international level, this leads to various complications in military, friendship among nations, suppressing terrorism, etc. Most of the current methods of securing IoT devices deal with the network and application layer. This paper deals with a simple yet very efficient method of securing IoT devices in the physical layer before it hits the market. These devices are called Internet of Secured Things (IoST) devices. The stability of a model that makes automated comparison between labor market demands and university curricula has a great importance. The statistics that will be drawn from our model should be consistent results for the long time. Therefore, during our work, some cases are presented that prove the stability of the model. The first test will be by removing stop words to compare them later with the corpus that contains stop words. Various tests will also be conducted such as increasing the volume of the corps and deleting some contests from the corps. Another test that will be made is cross validation with different results. Finally, our model is compared with another model that compares textual content between different corpuses. Banking operations have been supported by latest technology-based systems along with the traditional processes which prevailed in earlier banking era. With the large number of smart phone users, there has been a paradigm shift in increasing demand for digital products like mobile banking, Internet banking, E-wallets, etc. A common trend in banking technology is using an application programming interface (API) that enables a third-party application to use an interface through which the customer can access a variety of services. Besides APIs, technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) have great impact in changing the face of banking industry. However, this exposes the banks to a variety of cybersecurity threats which may cause service disruptions to the customers. Progressive digitalization is changing the game of many industrial sectors. Focusing on product quality the main profitability driver of this so-called Industry 4.0 will be the horizontal integration of information over the complete supply chain. Therefore, the European RFCS project "Quality 4.0" aims in developing an adaptive platform, which releases decisions on product quality and provides tailored information of high reliability that can be individually exchanged with customers. In this context Machine Learning will be used to detect outliers in the quality data. The blockchain, with its own attributes, has got a lot of consideration toward the start of its introduction to the world and been applied in numerous fields. Simultaneously, its security issues are uncovered continually and digital attacks have caused huge troubles in it. At present, there is little concern and research in the field of system security of the blockchain. This paper presents the uses of blockchain in wireless systems which deliberately dissect the security of each layer of the blockchain and possible digital attacks, expose the difficulties brought by the blockchain to arrange oversight, and sum up exploring the progress in providing security to the ad hoc networks. The proposed model portrays the group model of blockchain administrations;their unwavering quality is affirmed based on test information. Data communication is known to be an inefficient activity as far as message multifaceted nature, and overhead is observed. When data transmission is initiated and all nodes using the same available route, congestion in the network is increased. Notwithstanding the effect on the framework execution, inefficient model may have serious impacts on results with respect to security and affability of the blockchain. In the proposed work, an efficient model is designed that can be used in ad hoc networks to reduce the overhead of the network. As the overhead or congestion in the network is more, the performance of the ad hoc system will be decreased. To avoid such circumstances and to improve the network performance, the proposed Congestion Control Reduction with Blocks Linking (CCRBL) for generating blockchain is introduced. The proposed method is compared with the traditional congestion control systems in terms of congestion levels, same route usage levels, congestion reduction levels and throughput, and the results show that the proposed method is more efficient in congestion reduction. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singap

Sentiment classification is the task of categorizing the text into different opinionated categories positive, negative and neutral depending upon the user’s post on social media in a particular domain. In social media, Twitter is the most popular platform for classification but with the limitations of number of words to be posted by individual which produces the inaccurate classification of dataset. Hence, in this paper, we are trying to increase the performance of the sentiment classification model by collecting the textual data on the same domain from different sources. To validate the same, different state-of-the-art machine learning classification algorithms have been applied and analyzed that shows the better results for hybrid data in comparison with the single-source Twitter (microblog) data and also articulated the most suitable algorithms for the hybrid textual sources of data. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This article reviews different methodologies used to conduct political analysis using various sources of information available on the Internet. In some societies, the use of social networks has a significant impact on the political field with society, and various methodologies have been used to analyze various political aspects and the strategies to be followed. The purpose of this paper is to understand these methodologies in order to provide potential voters with information to make informed decisions. First, the necessary terminology on web scraping is reviewed, and then, some examples of projects for political analysis that have used web scraping are presented. Over the past few years, deep learning architectures had achieved astonishing success in solving problems in a wide array of fields. The main requirement for the use of deep learning techniques is the existence of a large enough dataset for training. Recent advances in digitalization and Industry 4.0 have made it possible to acquire, process, and store large amounts of data, allowing the use of deep learning in industrial applications. In the framework of a former research project a large database containing product and production data for the manufacture of flat steel was generated. This database contains, among other information, the in-coil positions of surface defects over multiple production stages. An analysis of these data suggested that the presence of an accumulation of surface defects at certain regions of the coil could be an indication of problems in the configuration of the production parameters. This prompted the need for a tool that can automatically identify production stages where a non-uniform distribution of surface defects is present in the coils. This work uses a deep learning model to automatically detect and cluster coils with non-uniform defect distributions. Since for this purpose generally no class labels are provided in the databases, only unsupervised algorithms were used. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Human–computer interaction is one of the most exciting areas of research. Hand gesture recognition stands vital for developing better human–computer interaction systems. Most of the existing approaches using camera-based or 3D depth sensors for hand gesture recognition are rather expensive and sensitive to environmental changes. In this paper, we propose a low-cost data glove embedded with MPU9250 motion sensor which overcomes the drawbacks of existing systems. In our work, the primary focus is to develop a numerical gesture recognition system deployable in any real-time application. An extensive comparison of the performance of different machine learning and neural network models is presented. An optimal network model is chosen, and details of deploying the trained model in a real-time unity game application are presented. In the past few decades, computers have become most useful tool, and are being used in a variety of areas like Industry, educational institutions, University, Hospitals, Business, etc. In almost all these areas, algorithmic solutions to problems are common. The usage of both hardware and software is increasing drastically. Emphasis was given on the development of application software’s. The traditional approach of developing any software comprises of gathering the requirement from client organization, writing the specification and then developing the design of a system in the form of algorithm and afterward implementing this algorithm by using any programming language. Usually, the algorithm is written in a natural language which is either structured or unstructured and these are basically the pseudocodes and their implementation on programming languages change because of the syntax of the language. There is no defined way to implement an algorithm because the algorithm may be translated in more than one programming language and each translation produces different implementations. Even though, when two programmers translate the same algorithm using the same programming language the implementation differs. In this paper, we are proposing an automated tool which takes the input in the form of natural language statements (algorithm) then restructures the statements which are amenable for the further process. The restructuring statements are then converted to the equivalent C program. The proposed approach works on all the algorithms which are specified in the defined template. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
