This paper deals with the mathematical model for three tank series interacting system, and level control in three tank interacting system is not an easy job, because of the nonlinear behavior due to the interaction of the peer tanks. Here, the accurate transfer function and state space model are obtained by the first principle method. In this process, two cases are considered one with single input in the first tank and the single output in third tank, i.e., single input and single output system (SISO), and other with two inputs in first cum third tank and single output as the third tank, i.e., two input and single output (MISO) system. Utilizing a mathematical model, the best control schemes are designed and implemented for the closed loop feedback control, and the performances are investigated by compared with the dynamic behaviors of the responses. There are three types of control schemes that are selected, and the controllers are personalized based on the mathematical model of the system. PID controller with a hybrid optimization technique and model predictive control (MPC) is designed based on the model. The three tanks interacting system is a higher-order system. In this paper, the exact transfer function model is going to be obtained by the first principle method;the mass balance equation is employed in the process for each the individual tanks in the system, and the state space and reduced order modes are obtained and the reduced order model is fine tuned;and the integer and non-integer models' first-order reduced models are obtained through model optimization techniques and the standard PID controller with hybrid optimization technique FminSearch-GA (Fmin-GA), Internal Model Controller and Model Predictive Control (MPC) also implemented, and performances are investigated using time domain specification. © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Birds are said to be the natural indicators regarding the condition of the environment and the changes that happen in the surrounding. Thus, ecologists strive a lot in monitoring these birds to understand their trending population, and doing this manually for each and every bird becomes a slow never-ending process. The main motive of this computerized system is to track down these bird kinds with the help of their sound. This automated system is of great benefit to the bird watchers in the study of wildlife, civic science, and data signals library management and to find out their evolution within time. From further research, it has been known that bird sound detection has become a usual necessary first step before classification of input data and also manages large datasets by straining down the data of interest. This has now become one of the potential papers in acoustic observation of sound-emitting birds. If you want to classify object and you do not have any specific labels, then how can you classify that objects? Clustering is the best way to classify this kind of object. Whenever we are talking about large-scale data relating to variety of fields, beginning of new gen techniques for concentrate collection of data was resulted. Typical database query processing is not able to find exact information from large number of data, and hence, clustering is important analysis method for large-scale data. Among these many clustering algorithms, k-means and k-medoids are superiorly utilized for large-scale database. Initially, select centroids in k-mean algorithm and medoids for k-medoids algorithm for batter quality of the resulting clusters. Key highlight of this algorithm is that, whenever number of iterations increase, it will also increase the computational time. Proposed k-means algorithm initially finds the starting level centroids "k" as per requirements and returns with better compare to previous, effective and very stabilized cluster. Here proposed algorithm consumes very less time for execution as it segregates unnecessary computational distance because it uses the previous iteration of cycle. On the basis on initial centroids, here proposed algorithm systematically selects initial k-medoids. In the age of digital data, the safety of digital content has gradually become paramount important. The demand for digital data in various forms such as text, images, video and audio has increased manifold. There are lots of vulnerabilities concerning digital data. It can easily be attacked, forged and manipulated to produce illegal copies. In the watermarking process, information, i.e., watermark image is inserted into a host data and extracted later in case of Copyright violation;owner of the content can demonstrate his ownership by regaining the embedded watermark. A watermark must be capable of being recovered even if a piece of content is modified or changed by several attacks. This paper uses frequency-domain technique, and the multi-level decomposition of the host image is done by using the combination of two-dimensional DWT (2D DWT) and SVD techniques. Here, the host/cover image is decomposed at six different levels separately, and the watermark image is inserted in the region of lowest frequency. After inserting a watermark, the host/cover image is reconstructed using an inverse DWT technique. By exposing the watermarked image to different image processing attacks such as pepper and salt, speckle and rotation, the robustness of various levels has been analyzed. The embedded watermark is extracted afterward and matched with the original one based on PSNR and MSE. The comparative experimental results show that the decomposition of the host image at the third level is found to be more suitable for watermarking among all other levels. © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The implementation of artificial intelligence faces different challenges of infrastructural, data related, security related and social scope. These aspects are discussed, reflecting on the requirements of introducing such a technology in a broader way. Machine learning, as subfield of artificial intelligence, benefits from advances in Big Data science. One example is the λ -architecture which can be used for the treatment of streamed process data in industrial applications. Digital twins are shown as further tool providing object-oriented data for machine learning applications. Yet, the increasing freedom of data transfer within a plant, as propagated by Industry 4.0, poses new risks for information technology and automation systems: security of those components is one of the big challenges. Here, artificial intelligence can seen as both risk and solution. A last relevant challenge is acceptance among the staff, as artificial intelligence is associated with fears. Counterstrategies for those fears are presented as a proposed guideline for real applications. Finally, current frontiers at process industry are considered and discussed. These include the need for strengthening the use of high-dimensional data availability, increased roll-out of optimisation concepts and rigorous progresses in semantic modelling of processes and process chains, in order to fully exploit the beneficial scope of artificial intelligence in industry. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Call centers represent the basis in today's market. Nowadays, in every enterprise exist a call center which has the main objective to handle client's issues. This research paper refers to a communication system designed for automatic client interaction, called "Cloud computing Customer Communication Center". The communication center comprises: a Unified Communications System (UCS) providing communication channels such as telephony, SMS, email, video, chat, etc.;a Data Processing Server (DPS) which provides support for the operations required by customers and a Voice Interaction Module (VIM) for automatic communication with clients, which consists of a speech recognition module, a speech synthesis module and a dialog management module that communicates through a MRCP (Media Resource Control Protocol) protocol with the Unified Communication System (UCS) and the Data Processing Server (DPS). The "Cloud computing Customer Communication Center" integrates support modules for platform functionality, such as: redundant power supply, cloud-based LAN/Wi-Fi broadcasting environment, online platform management and various cloud applications.

Every signaling system involves a range of issues of communication, visual perception, semiotics, pictograms, signage, writing, among others, in order to guide and inform, offering the necessary accessibility conditions for anyone, regardless of their condition. The present work proposes to continue to rethink the construction of inclusive educational environments from the integrated reflection of research related to ergonomics, participatory practices in design and sensory experiences that allow the development of alternatives for a universal signaling system centered on the user, including the visually impaired user, of the Sao Luis - Monte Castelo Campus of the Federal Institute of Maranhao. Priority to understand the experience lived by the visually impaired in a theoretically open environment for all was the starting point to see the difficulties faced by this public. However, the user's participation in the process consolidates the opening of new paths that achieve the most significant results. Thus, considering the participation of the visually impaired user with the intention of proposing improvements in existing methodologies or in the process of creating the solution gains more and more strength as a strategy to promote intelligent and accessible environments.

Our technological world is developing rapidly, and with it, the roles of automation are becoming increasingly safety critical. Automated vehicles that require human input when a design, geographical or capability boundary has been met require effective communication between driver and vehicle to ensure system safety. This paper explores the role of vocal communication in guiding visual gaze during the task of handing over control to a driver after being 'out-of-the-loop' for a set amount of time. This is with the intention of increasing driver awareness of the environment, and explore whether this method is effective in guiding this process. This study found that vocal guidance is highly correlated with visual gaze towards the visual information streams that display information relevant to a vocal cue, indicating that designers could consider the vocal approach alongside head-up interface aides as a means of raising situation awareness during transitions of control.

Breast Cancer (BC) is the most common type of cancer among women. Thankfully early detection and treatment improvements helped decrease its number of deaths. Data Mining techniques (DM), which discover hidden and potentially useful patterns from data, particularly for breast cancer diagnosis, are witnessing a new era, where the main objective is no longer replacing humans or just assisting them in their tasks but enhancing and augmenting their capabilities and this is where interpretability comes into play. This paper aims to investigate the Local Interpretable Model-agnostic Explanations (LIME) technique to interpret a Multilayer perceptron (MLP) trained on the Wisconsin Original Data-set. The results show that LIME explanations are a sort of real-time interpretation that helps understanding how the constructed neural network "thinks" and thus can increase trust and help oncologists, as the domain experts, learn new patterns.

Data shows that workers with disabilities are still lagging in employment rates compared to healthy workforce. They report high job insecurity, are less likely to receive employer-based benefits, are more likely to be laid off and are also more likely to work in part-time jobs. Since many companies do not employ ergonomists, employers have a problem to identify a suitable workplace, yet alone to propose the needed accommodations. To mitigate these problems, we developed a decision support system that aids in the whole process of categorizing and identifying disabilities of workers and assigns a suitable workplace in an integrated work environment inside the company to ensure high safety, productivity and satisfaction of workers and employers.
