Graphic design and cinema are closely related, especially by the divulgation, in which the poster is a major vehicle. This article discusses the Portuguese poster history, focusing the movie poster in a specific period - the Portuguese Nouvelle Vague - 1962-1982. The choice of this period is related to its particularities, as it was a moment of great transformations, especially in Portugal - by this time living the dictatorship and the revolution that led to democracy (in 1974). It was also an important moment in graphic design, where the development of phototypesetting and offset printing led to the graphic "third revolution". This research is based on bibliographical review, on the systematic collection of posters, interviews with designers and the detailed analysis of a sample of these posters. In this manner, we try to further study a pertinent topic that we consider important to introduce in the Portuguese graphic design history.

The goal of the current study is to explore relationships between the antecedents and perceived occupational stress amongst the managers of the textile sector organizations in Pakistan. Sheldon Cohen's perceived stress scale-10 (PSS-10) was employed to measure the perceived occupational stress level while a self-designed instrument to collect data to identify the antecedents. Data collected was analyzed primarily through exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The stress components physical agents at work (beta = 0.292, T-value = 2.765, p = 0.006) and social working environment (beta = 0.253, T-value = 2.618, p = 0.009) were found as statistically significant antecedents of the occupational stress. Interventions are to be designed and implemented to deal with the situation. The findings of the study will benefit the practitioners and the researchers in carrying out further research and devising and implementing interventions strategies.

Nowadays, television series occupy a significant part of broadcasting time, particularly in paid channels. In this communication we present a reflection about the terminology used in English, French, and Portuguese to designate the filmic object that helps identify the TV series' episode by presenting the series name and who made it. This discussion of the different words and expressions and their meanings is followed by a brief account of the evolution of these objects from the beginnings of their production until the 21st century.

Based on the experimental monitoring results, the paper identifies the influence of non-traffic load (water, snow, frost) on the track substructure freezing, depending on the track routing method (embankment, cut). The paper introduction characterizes two railway track models (scale 1:1), which are a part of the Experimental Stand DRETM, (in the influence assessment the 1st measuring profile - embankment and the 5th measuring profile - cut are applied). The second part of the paper presents the results of the experimental monitoring and subsequently the comparison of both measuring profiles, in regard to the achieved value of the track substructure depth of freezing. The paper conclusion evaluates the influence of the railway track routing on the thermal regime and on the track substructure freezing.

The Design for All approach, enhancing human diversity, promotes the spread of a social conscience oriented towards inclusion. This seems particularly useful for the training of young designers, because it obliges them to consider the complex system of constraints and opportunities arising from the extreme variability of the design targets, that more and more contemporary society requires to design activity. Here are described the development and results of a teaching experience, entitled "Green for all", developed at the University of Chieti-Pescara, in which students designed a product for gardening, referring to specific and original use contexts, through the DfA approach. Starting from the dimensional and productive restriction of earthenware, the projects had the purpose to favor the cultivation of ornamental plants or domestic spices even in contexts of original use (in the kitchen, in the bathroom, in the office, but also on the desk, in gym or on the train).

Social epidemiology "is a branch of epidemiology that focuses particularly on the effects of social-structural factors on states of health. Social epidemiology assumes that the distribution of advantages and disadvantages in a society reflects the distribution of health and disease. It proposes to identify societal characteristics that affect the pattern of disease and health distribution in a society and to understand its mechanisms" [1]. Social epidemiology studies the factors that affect the susceptibility of a population to disease. The authors of this paper believe that there are strong parallels between the susceptibility of populations to disease and the susceptibility of organizations to the occurrence and distribution of accidents. This paper will discuss some of those parallels and possible approaches to understanding and reducing an organization's susceptibility to accidents.

Over the last 30 years, the rise in studies relating to safety behaviour in the construction industry demonstrates its importance to construction safety management. In improving safety behaviour, safety climate has been used to mould the perceptions workers form about their organisations. However, recent findings suggest that there is a lack of a comprehensive and well-accepted safety climate model to fully capture a true picture of safety behaviour. This sparks the need for further novel schemes and resolutions. This paper proposes a conceptual model by integrating human safety intervention to play a mediating role between group safety climate and workers safety behaviours. The conceptual model was developed based on the organisational climate and behavioural safety theories. The model could serve as the theoretical basis to provide a better understanding of workers safety behaviours. This insight will assist construction organisations to strategically focus their efforts to ensure the success of safety.

Segways offer elderly users an opportunity to increase their mobility range and may also be useful as a training device. As of yet, very little is known about muscular activity during Segway use. Hence, the aim of this pilot study was to investigate the muscular strain during the use of Segways. For this purpose, 15 study participants were equipped with EMG measuring devices on rectus femoris, biceps femoris, tibialis anterior and biceps brachii of the right half of the body. Following maximum strength tests, the participants completed a defined course once on foot and three times on a Segway. The averaged EMG data during walking and Segway use were compared. The results show that the use of Segways leads to muscle activity. No statistically significant differences were found between the average muscular strain of the lower body muscles caused by walking and using a Segway. The systematic use of Segways may be an attractive option for the development of physical training programs to prevent falls.

Within the scope of the research project "Reallabor Schorndorf", funded by the state Baden Wuerttemberg (Germany), demand responsive transport and operating systems as well as a virtual vehicle concept for public transport (PT) were designed and tested in a "real-world laboratory". The aim of the subproject Vehicle Development was to design a vehicle in an effective and repeatable manner that best meets the users requirements with respect to the demand responsive public transport system. The novel user-centered development methodology and the exemplary result are highlighted in this contribution.

Cloud-based software development solutions (entitled as Platformas-a-Service, Low-Code platforms) have been promoted as a game changing paradigm backed by model-driven architecture and supported by various cloud-based services. With the engagement of a sheer number of platform users (experienced, novel, or citizen developers) these platforms generate invaluable data and that can be considered as user metadata actions. As cloud-based development solutions provide novice users with a new development experience (performing data actions that altogether leads to a successful software app), users often times face with uncertainty about development performance;how good or complete is app development? Thus, the issue addressed in this research is how to measure user performance by using digital trace data generated on the cloud platform from a Network Science perspective. This research proposes a novel approach to leveraging digital trace data on Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) from a Network Science perspective. The proposed approach considers the importance of digital trace data as metadata actions on PaaS and introduces a network model (so-called Metadata Action Network), which is claimed to be the result of reconstruction of events of developer's actions. We show suitability of the proposed approach to better understanding of real-world digital trace data on PaaS solution and elaborate basic performance analytics on a PaaS solution with research and practical implications.
