A prenatal mobile Personal Health Records (mPHR), along with an Electronic Health Records (EHR) are, respectively, exploited in order to permit both the pregnant women and gynecologists or obstetricians monitor the pregnancy progress in the best conditions. For this intent, a complete solution consisting of a prenatal mPHR and an EHR were developed for the maternity "Les Orangers" of the Avicenne University Hospital in Rabat. The complete solution provides the main functionalities of a prenatal service. Thereafter, the solution will be validated by conducting an experiment for quality and potential assessment. Hence, a recruitment process has been determined to identify the eligibility criteria to enroll participants (pregnant women and gynecologists), in addition to planning the course of the experiment.

Textile garment industries must be readily aware of the system's current situation, respond quickly to changes in style to process orders on time, and manage an appropriate method of work to avoid production delays. In addition, the textile sector plays an important role because it presents a significant weight in the world economy. Likewise, this sector is considered influential when defining an international business agreement. Therefore, adequate management is required in the sector. Otherwise, it will generate a competitive disadvantage because the Peruvian industry is approaching an export recession. This paper proposes using the lean manufacturing methodology to reduce production times. The project is validated through a simulation of the current and proposed processes with the application of lean thinking tools to reduce waste (manufacturing process times).

Every signaling system involves a range of issues of communication, visual perception, semiotics, pictograms, signage, writing, among others, in order to guide and inform, offering the necessary accessibility conditions for anyone, regardless of their condition. The present work proposes to continue to rethink the construction of inclusive educational environments from the integrated reflection of research related to ergonomics, participatory practices in design and sensory experiences that allow the development of alternatives for a universal signaling system centered on the user, including the visually impaired user, of the Sao Luis - Monte Castelo Campus of the Federal Institute of Maranhao. Priority to understand the experience lived by the visually impaired in a theoretically open environment for all was the starting point to see the difficulties faced by this public. However, the user's participation in the process consolidates the opening of new paths that achieve the most significant results. Thus, considering the participation of the visually impaired user with the intention of proposing improvements in existing methodologies or in the process of creating the solution gains more and more strength as a strategy to promote intelligent and accessible environments.

Rather different views on the state of the art in truck platooning have seen some significant public activity earlier in 2019. Is it that complex to achieve real world bottom line fuel savings on public highways or public roads? What role do users - truck drivers - play when it comes to truck platooning acceptance? Acceptance issues are vital for successfully deploying truck platooning technologies. Acceptance of truck platooning may vary according to the level of automation and diverse application contexts. This paper sketches deployment paths of truck platooning and investigates truck platooning acceptance issues. Doing so, a literature review regarding truck platooning acceptance as well as empirical studies in Austria are conducted. The empirical findings confirm the trust among drivers in level 1 platoons and indicate truck drivers are rather reserved when it comes to the intention to use level 1 platooning.

The aim of this paper is to map the state of art of Brazilian researches focused on the accessibility of interfaces, identifying the methods and techniques used on the evaluation of digital interfaces based on the approach of the visually impaired user. An exploratory search was made, filtering studies between 2013 and 2018, at the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of CAPES and at the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations. The found documents were filtered and analyzed, aiming to list the procedures used on the evaluation process. Subsequently, the results were synthesized and compared with the literature. The study is justified by the lack of evaluative research with an inclusive approach. As a result, this paper indicates that usability tests, task analysis, verbal protocols and satisfaction questionnaires are relevant procedures for the interface evaluation from a user's centered approach.

In order to contribute to the increasing inclusion of people who have been for a long time out of society, it is possible to construct accessible didactic material for specific audiences, such as for people with learning disabilities, or other barriers to the full achievement of their learning processes, for instance, elderly, deaf, and visually impaired people. This paper aims to contribute to the area of accessibility by presenting a set of recommendations for authors of Open Educational Resources that are not necessarily specialists in ICT, in order to help the process of providing more accessibility for people with learning disabilities.

This paper intends to develop questions related to the creation and use of objects. We like to address the way the objects, can shape not only the world, but our self's in the process. Taking the dichotomy brain-hand as a starting point, we wish to inquire, the interactions of the hand as a construct of the brain. The intellectual proximity between the two creates a bound: the hand acts, the brain thinks, they both create. Tendentially the hand that shapes a material, arouses as an instrument, more or less virtuous, that follows bioelectrical impulses capable of altering that material. The brain would then be the master of these movements, orchestrating the whole. The hand and its manual labour appear as subaltern of the brain, the centre of intellectual work. However, another image seems to emerge from this process. The hands shape the objects, not just as subsidiary servants of brain impulses, but as main actors. To finish we would like to arise the question of emotions and feelings, as a part of the brain process, and try to understand the effect of the fact that the hand was transformed from a prime actor to a mere supporting role.

In the United States, children's body dimensions are significantly different from what they have been in the past. Dissatisfaction with current children's clothing sizes and mismatched furniture are often reported in the industry. Children often show improper sitting posture in class due to mismatched sets of desks and chairs. A reliable reference for children's anthropometric data is needed to improve children's products' safety, comfort, and fit in the environment. The aim of this study was to provide the most up-to-date children's anthropometric data for 6 to 11 year-olds in the United States and examine the reliability of anthropometric reference data for children's products. This study was conducted at Texas Tech University, one of the scan sites for a national sizing survey, Size NorthAmerica (Size NA led by Human Solutions Inc.). A total of 21 girls between the ages of 6 and 11 participated in the study with IRB approval. A set of 52 body dimensions in each child was scanned with a laser-based 3D body scanner. The measuring procedure was compatible with ASTM standard measurement definitions in accordance with ISO 8559 (garment construction and anthropometric survey) and ISO 7250 (basic human body measurements for technological design). Current children's body dimensions were significantly different from the anthropometric reference size charts for children's product design. Results in this study would provide insight into the need for developing reliable anthropometric reference data for children's product design.

This paper presents the theoretical concepts and the practical approaches involved in constructing a mannequin (dummy) used for teaching and practicing the recovery techniques specific to different injuries that can affect the human locomotive apparatus. The dummy consists of a hardware system that model the human anterior and posterior limbs. The bones, joints and muscular tissue are replicated so that the dummy movements are very similar to the actual movements of the human body. The mannequin is equipped with software-controlled movement sensors. A computer that monitors the data received from the sensors registers the parameters of the correct recovery procedures performed by a recovery specialist doctor (trainer). The students who want to learn the procedures can practice the same maneuvers on the dummy. The control system analyses the movement parameters, compares them with the correct ones produced by the teacher and immediately assists the trainees by providing an automatic feedback reflecting the correctness of the actions. This controlled environment takes the pressure off the students and also spares the injured patient of the inherent mistakes done involuntarily during learning the recovery procedures.
