Needle insertion is one of the most important parts of medical sector. For critical needle operations, precise needle insertion and removal speed control is very necessary, failing which trauma can be caused to the patients, and there will be chances of serious injuries to the internal organs. Hence, themain aim of this research work is to design and fabricate a setup that can precisely control the speed and depth of needle insertion procedure. This experimental setup contains four links and four joints having four degrees of freedom, and it was modeled in SOLIDWORKS. There are 3 revolute and 1 prismatic joint among which the revolute pairs can be used to manually position a needle and prismatic joint is automated for needle insertion. Depth and velocity of insertion of needle in the linear actuator is controlled automatically with the help of rotary encoder. The automated control system is controlled with the help of MyRIO controller. MyRIO is programmed using LabVIEW software. Six experiments were performed for each angle of insertion of the needle with respect to horizontal axis at 90 degrees, 60 degrees, and 25 degrees to simulate various needle insertion medical procedures. Image processing techniques were used to analyze actual depth of insertion and angle of insertion of the needle. Basler ACA 1300 smart camera is used to capture the images and it was analyzed using MATLAB. A cost-effective alternative to test this kind of device using image processing in laboratory conditions is shown in this research. After analysis of the semi-automated needle insertion system, all the deviations from the required value were found to be minimal and within medical parameters.

Internet of Things (IoT) introduces many intelligent applications that are closely attached to humans' daily activities. This advanced technology attempts to bridge the gap between the information world and the physical world. Recent studies investigate efficient, flexible, scalable and reliable IoT systems that not only control things and devices on behalf of humans but adaptable to humans' preferences. However, the autonomous control of the IoT in a smart home or healthcare environment subjects to many factors such as human health, time and date. For example, peoples' needs and behaviours during workdays differ from weekends or a young person needs and behaviours differs from an elderly person. Hence, the practical setting of a smart home entails flexible management to the autonomous control of IoT systems. This paper proposes an architecture of Adjustable-Autonomous Multi-agent IoT (AAMA-IoT) system to resolve a number of the IoT management of control and application interface challenges. The AAMA-IoT is applied in an elderly smart home simulation in which autonomous agents control passive things such as a chair or door and active things such as a television or an air conditioner. The test results show that the AAMA-IoT system controls 14 things with average activities recognition accuracy of 96.97%.

Tuning process which is used to find the optimum values of the proportional integral derivative (PID) parameters, can be performed automatically using meta-heuristics algorithms such as BA (Bat Algorithm), PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) and ABC (Artificial Bee Colony). This paper presented a theoretical and practical implementation of a drawing robot using BA to tune the PID controller governing the robotic arm which is a non linear system difficult to be controlled using classical control. In line with the above and in order to achieve this aim and meet high performance feedback and robust dynamic stability of the system, the PID controller is designed considering the realistic constraints. For faster tuning of the controller parameters, ten individuals and five iterations have been selected. BA, ABC and PSO have been compared and it's noticed that BA is the best choice to achieve good performance control. In the proposed design, MATLABwas used for trajectory reckoning. Afterwards, the value of coordinate position of the shape to be drawn is translated into a joint angle by applying the inverse kinematics to control the two DC motors through the ATMEGA 2560 microcontroller. The suggested technique reveals via simulations and hardware implementation the high efficiency of the applied algorithm. The PID controller approach presents an impressive stability and robustness results. The achieved results demonstrated that high performance can be obtained by tuning a PID controller using nature inspired based algorithms.

This study aimed at demonstrating the AED derived feature component significantly outperforming MFCC features or log frequency filter parameters. This is effectively achieved without increasing the number of parameters in acoustic events detection under the speech and other audio sounds recognition. This has been made possible and suitable for the use of AdaBoost approach as discussed in the paper.

In this study we investigate the connection between general statistical properties of data and its representations with native category structures that can be formed in unsupervised observation without significant prior knowledge either in the form of ground truth data, or pre-known categories. We use a deep autoencoder model and data representing samples of Internet datagrams to produce categorized representations of input data space, with emergent density structure that was measured and visualized. We then attempt to use the emergent structure to develop a general approach to learning of new concepts in an iterative environment driven process that requires very small ground truth data and can be triggered by a single encounter. In the experiments, iterative learning applied to several categories of applications resulted in better than random accuracy of classification for most studied categories and demonstrated a direction in which discovery and early learning of new concepts can be bridged to permanent learning, with potential applications in the fields where massive amounts of prior knowledge aren't yet available, as well as in self-learning and general learning artificial systems.

The urban environment becomes a place of extremely high population density, which has such environmental defects as high risk of infectious and chronic diseases, air pollution, vulnerability to climate change, etc. On account of that, the problem of energy-efficient and safe construction methods development that would mitigate the effects of air pollution (to create areas for health recovery, increase the length of working period of human life) becomes especially important. As a tool for solving these problems, the technology of "green roof" is proposed. To confirm the theoretical studies on the energy efficiency of roofing with natural landscaping, a test stand was created, and an experiment to determine the thermal properties of a "green roof" was conducted in a laboratory of NRU MGSU (Moscow, Russia). The results of the experiment are presented. The energy efficiency of a public building roof was tested on three models of "green roof" with different composition and thickness. The results were compared with theoretical calculations.

Choosing a career or specialization is an important goal for students in the early stage of their life. The decision for choosing right career will affect positively or negatively on the academic level of students and professional life of the graduates. There are many factors affect career guidance process for students and graduates, some difficulties in this process have motivated the researchers to use a variety of scientific methodologies to propose career guidance systems and to solve related problems. In this research, the cloud-based career guidance system that helps and support students for transferring to the professional world is introduced. From cloud computing point of view, we introduce the proposed system as Career-as-a-Service (CAAS) model. On other hands, the identification of system inputs, outputs, and rules are controlled by fuzzy logic operations. The main objectives of the proposed system include: help students to choose appropriate colleges that matching with their desires, help graduates to choose the appropriate career that matching with their, scientific skills, and practical experiences, and provide graduates with the required training courses for specific career. This research introduces the implementation and use of career guidance system that provides career guidance services to students and graduates and improves the learning outcomes.

High resolution 3d point cloud data obtained by 3d laser scanning system has become a research hotspot and difficulty in recent years due to its large data volume, irregular data and high scene complexity. Target detection is the basis of scene analysis and understanding, which provides the underlying object and analysis basis for high-level scene understanding. Based on high resolution three-dimensional point cloud data of target recognition and tracking problem both in theory and application is facing great challenge, is a new research topic in this paper, according to the laser point cloud data processing as the research object, analyses the characteristics of lidar point cloud data and data processing of train of thought, analysis of lidar point cloud data storage and retrieval strategy, on the basis of the target recognition based on the laser point cloud data. The lidar data are distributed discretely in form. The discretization here refers to the irregular distribution of the positions and intervals of exponential data points in the three-dimensional space, namely the irregular distribution of data. In recent years, with the rise of deep learning and the large-scale application of deep learning in image detection, speech recognition, text processing and other related fields, it has become one of the current important research topics to use the method of deep learning for target recognition of three-dimensional point cloud data. Its main idea is to learn hierarchical feature expression through supervised way and describe the object from the bottom to the top. This method can effectively improve the ability of object feature representation and the performance of object recognition. Deep learning is also widely used in object recognition, object detection, scene segmentation and other image processing. Therefore, this paper adopts the method of deep learning to classify and identify 3d objects.

Over the last years, Deep Neural Network models have been recognized as successful in solving many complex problems. However, these methods are mostly focused on the efficiency of final results and rarely provide sufficient evidence and details on factors that contribute to their outcomes This is why a growing demand for analysis techniques appeared. Thanks to visualisation techniques we can if network works as expected or even improve output of given model if possible. Moreover we can use these methods as optimization technique to boost network's performance but pruning less important neurons. Finally, if we know how a given model works we can prepare a disruption to its work process. This paper shows how we can combine Class Activation Map with feature map to determine a few of the most contributing pixels for given input and modify them to perform an adversarial attack.

Why do we need projects? What is the need to carry out a project? What is the ultimate-goal of any project? These are a few thoughts that crop up in one's mind while trying to develop and implement any project. The motivations of this paper are to establish the unified functional and non-functional requirements of AnyProject for the first time. Our goal is to enable unification for AnyProject pattern leading to the creation of a stable pattern language and to enable usability for applications across numerous domains and apply for an unlimited number of scenarios. The idea is to compare the existing or traditional model (TM) of a project and software stability model (SSM) of any project using non-functional requirements as criteria for comparison, evaluation, and measurements. The significant findings are: (1) The TM can only be applied to one scenario, unlike the AnyProject Pattern, which can be effectively applied to unlimited scenarios;(2) The TM requires high maintenance costs and limited scalability. On the other hand, the SSM definitively cuts down on costs because it is cognitive knowledge;and (3) In the measurability, the TM fails to model the essential properties of AnyProject. However, the stable model delineates essential properties. As a result, the SSM enables stability and unlimited applicability.
