Urban renewal is important to regenerate the living city in Abu Dhabi were recently public space along waterfronts is emerging along with cafes, restaurants and hotels to represent as new kind of mitigation between public and semi-public spaces. Waterfront urban assemblages in Abu Dhabi offer a relatively sanitized experience than those associated with conventional public spaces in historic cities. For example Al-Bateen marina and the Al-Maqta Canal are new waterfront developments shaped by concrete breakwaters that re-define the connection of public space to waterfronts. While pedestrian access and walkability in Abu Dhabi are still in their infantile stages, new projects such as the new Al-Maqta Canal Project and Al-Bateen Marina promises to create new venues for pedestrian and outdoor activities. Although these spaces replace earlier waterfront spaces such as old wharfs and fishing hubs had a more traditional attire, these new open spaces display an urban strategy of creating public spaces along waterfronts in oil rich Gulf States. When taken together such waterfront developments address the complex urban whole that reflects the multi-ethnic nature of Gulf state cities. This paper studies the strategies and effects of architectural assemblages along waterfronts in Abu Dhabi and how they shape public space and urban landscape. In addition, we use a 2D-hydrodynamic water surface model to simulate the flow pattern in the new Al-Maqta Canal.

The objective of this study had reduced the identification time and to get best diagnosis model in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). The target was development of the strong and computationally proficient model for classification of CKD. This work had used four classification models like Naive Bayes, Multilayer Perceptron, OneR, Classification and Regression Tree (CART) to classify the CKD data set and compared the classification accuracy with all classifier. Similarly Feature Selection Technique (FST), ranking based namely Chi Squared AttributeEval (CSAE), One-R AttributeEval (ORAE) and Search based namely Genetic Search-J48 (GS-J48), Genetic Search-CART (GS-CART) have used. The contribution of this research work is to recognize and classify the CKD problem and propose a new FST namely Genetic Search Intersection Based Feature Selection Technique (GS-IBFST). The classifier offers higher accuracy with GS-IBFST compare to without FSTs and existing FSTs.

This paper presents findings and discussion of the research conducted in 2018 by the Observatory Kids&Toys of Politecnico of Milan with the aim to understand the problems and emerging needs in the design sector linked to children in the digital transformation era. The main focus is to highlight the impact that the human-centered design approach can have in the creation of new scenarios and innovative use of digital technologies for kids. Consequently, to design new Product Service System more in line with the needs and the new behaviours of kids and parents. In this sense, the research has identified how much is changing the dialogue between companies in toys sector and their customers (adults and children).

Eye Tracking it is a sensor technology that allows - through a device - to exactly know where a person's gaze is focused. In the field of Neuropsychology, it is important to know studies with this tool to start new research. Therefore, this study explores and synthesizes studies on the diagnosis of aggressive behaviors and emotions by using the Eye tracking technology. This systematic review of the literature was carried out under the PRISMA criteria. The studies included in the review consist of articles from empirical studies, peer-reviewed published between 2010 and 2018. The databases included in the study are: Pubmed, Scopus, PsycInfo, Scielo, DOAJ. We obtained 53 preliminary articles. 16 studies were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the investigation.

Groups of interacting agents are able to solve complex tasks in a dynamic environment. Robots in a group can have a simpler device than single stand-alone robots. Each agent in the group has the ability to accumulate interaction experience with the environment and share it with other members of the group. In many cases, the group behavior is not deduced from any properties of its parts. The paper proposes an approach to modeling the mobile agent group behavior that is busy with a common goal. The main purpose of the agents is to study the greatest territory at minimal time. The agents interact with the environment. A control of each agent is carried out by a modified neural network with restrictions imposed on it. Weights of the neural network are chosen by a genetic evolution method. The agents compete among themselves for obtaining the greatest reward from the environment. An efficiency of the proposed model is confirmed by some convergence speed tests by computer simulation. The proposed model can be applied to a group of robots that perform search tasks in a real physical space.

This article presents the results of the study of joint work of electro-hydraulic actuator with combined speed control of the output link and electro-hydraulic servovalve actuator, obtained using the method of mathematical modeling. It is shown that at joint work of the above mentioned heterogeneous electro-hydraulic actuators in a mode of summation of efforts on a uniform control surface, on the output links of actuators there is a force fighting that negatively affects a resource of a design and the quality of regulation of actuators at the area of a low input control signals. The article presents the results of mathematical modeling of the system of force equalization (FES) that was developed by the authors and shows the possibility of significant reduction of mutual power load in the actuators when including the above-mentioned force equalization system in the control loop. As the base of data to mathematical model were used a real characteristics of actuators.

This paper propose the closed loop control of multilevel inverter. Multilevel inverter (MLI) used is five-level neutral point clamped inverter. The switches of inverter are controlled by multicarrier phase opposition disposition SPWM technique. This type of multilevel configuration is deployed to reduce total harmonics distortion compared to two-level conventional PWM inverter. Fuzzy logic controller is designed for closed loop control of RMS voltage of multilevel inverter. The performance of fuzzy logic-based closed loop control of multilevel inverter is studied using Simulink tool of MATLAB.

Education is a tremendous and critical concern, in current years the amount of data stored in academic database is developing rapidly. The protected database consists of hidden data about the development of the scholar's performance and behavior. The ability to assess the faculties overall performance annually could be very critical in academic environments. Web content mining is the method of extracting useful data from the contents of web pages. Content records are the collection of data that a web page is designed to hold. Content data consist of text, photograph, audio, video, hyperlink or dependent data which includes lists or tables. From this method, the scholars' behavior is analyzed by using the Internet log files, which holds the data such as staffs searched web pages and their history was extracted for analysis. The analysis of staffs' behavior in the learning and teaching environment is based on log files created on the server during the course of interaction between learners and the electronic syllabus. This study emphasizes on concept of various classification algorithms, for processing the data available in the web. There are numerous algorithms for classification, among those three major algorithms such as Naive Bayes algorithm, Support Vector Machine algorithm (SVM) and finally Artificial Neural Network algorithms (ANN) were considered for analysis. These three algorithms were used for analyzing the web log files, where the data to be handles resides. The results of all the three algorithms have been clearly defined, in order to choose the efficient classification algorithm.

In this article, by using the Bernoulli sub-equation, we build the analytical traveling wave solution of the (2+1)-dimensional Davey-Stewartson equation system. First of all, the imaginary (2+1)-dimensional Davey-Stewatson system is transformed into a system of nonlinear differential equations, After getting the resultant equation, the homogeneous method of balance between the highest power and the highest derivative of the ordinary differential equation is authorized and finally the outcomes equations are solved in order to achieve some new analytical solutions. Wolfram Mathematica Package is used for different cases as well as for different values of constants to investigate the solutions of the resulting system of a nonlinear differential equation. The results of this study are shown in 2D and 3D dimensions graphically.

An approach to solve the problem of synthesizing stable algorithms for adaptation of dynamic objects with a control delay is proposed. It was demonstrated that the problem of calculating a pseudo-inverse matrix for object control is generally unstable with respect to matrix perturbations. To solve equation for control law, A.N. Tikhonov's methods of regularization and singular decomposition are used based on the minimal pseudo-inverse matrix. The proposed computational schemes enable the synthesis of object adaptation stable algorithms with control delay and provide high quality control processes.
