The article deals with the methods of interaction of agents in an abstract intellectual active system when they generate creative solutions. Often collective decision making in active systems is accompanied by conflict situations. To eliminate conflicts, minimize them, algorithms for agreement and harmonization the creative solutions of intellectual agents are proposed. These algorithms depend on the strength of the contradictions revealed between the agents and the psycho-behavioral type of each of them. The description of algorithms is based on the possibility of changing the behavior of the same agents under different conditions. Agents are understood as intellectual entities (physical or programmatic), whose behavior is similar to human behavior. Therefore, in the course of reasoning, the already proven postulates from sociology, psychology and other social sciences are also used.

We developed a deep learning application to detect and recognize Korean cars' license plates from images. It is an advanced application that targets to provide deep learning solution that can be applied in many areas including intelligent Transportation System, Internet of Things and Smart City. Despite, there have been many approaches and studies on license plate localization, character segmentation and recognition, there have not been highly demanded results particularly using deep neural networks. Traditional approaches on license plate detection have achieved quite a high accuracy in detection and recognition, in which mostly Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is used. Nevertheless, in this research, we developed our own method that is a combination of scene text recognition technique with Geometrical Image Transformation (GIT) to recognize number plates for combined neural networks and achieving 99.8% and 95.7% of detection and recognition accuracy respectively.

The system providing the automated monitoring of changes in web resources was designed and developed. The entire process is divided into five parts. Each subsequent stage included some parts of the previous one. The practical value of this system resides in the ability to detect, in the shortest possible time, the changes in web-resource. In case, if unwanted changes were detected, the user will be able to perform the correction without the need for constant monitoring of content by developers. This facilitates the process of restoring the satisfactory state of web site after unauthorized changes were made. It also allows to track the competitors' web pages in order to timely improve their own products.

Previous studies of real-time traffic in Cognitive Radio Sensor Network (CRSN) were done using reservation-based method and absolute priority method. These studies were done under the assumption that primary user's traffic arrive at a low rate. However, under high arrival rate of primary user traffic, real-time secondary user traffic is starved. In this paper, we developed an analytical model of source-to-sink delay in a Cognitive radio sensor network (CRSN) that differentiates the service of users into primary and secondary and further partitions secondary user's traffic into real-time and best effort. During service, primary traffic is given priority over real-time secondary user traffic which in turn has higher priority over best effort secondary traffic. Furthermore, a threshold is introduced on the number of primary user packets served to reduce the starvation of real-time secondary users under high arrival rate of primary user traffic. The numerical results obtained from the derived models show that real-time secondary users experience a reduction in source-to-sink delay as a result of introducing a threshold on the number of primary user packets served without over degrading the service of primary user traffic.

Despite computer programming courses today often having hundreds of participants, it is important that the students complete practical programming exercises and have a possibility to participate in hands-on programming sessions, where they can get help from their peers and teaching assistants. However, heterogeneous devices used by students pose a great challenge. When installing and using development tools, both platform specific issues and the limitations of students' personal skill cause issues and lots of extra work for teachers. To address these challenges, we built a virtualized environment that provides the same homogeneous environment for all the students, reducing the time used for configuration and assisting students and allowing time to be used teaching the actual contents of the course. The current study provides an experience report on our course virtualization project, highlighting the drawbacks and benefits of our solution. Our preliminary findings indicate that vast majority of students are using the environment and have found it an effective and usable way to complete the practical coursework.

Data mining, a key technique in knowledge discovery, is the process of identifying useful patterns from a collection of data. This process is made difficult for complex data combining, for example, numeric and symbolic attributes, or also when the number of observations is large. In this paper, we present a pattern mining approach to identify local correlations in the data, that is to say, sets of numerical attributes that strongly co-vary together in a subset of the data. The sets of numerical attributes and the subset of data are automatically (inductively) identified by the method. Whereas the space of patterns to be potentially explored is exponential, the complexity of the problem can be overcome by using sampling techniques that have several advantages: (1) reducing the computation cost, (2) identifying most important patterns, and (3) making possible to process large databases by distributed computing on multiple machines.

Hydrogen based technologies are a growing field among the renewable energies options, being the single proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells (FC) one of the most promising. There are a number of possibilities to model the electrical behavior of this kind of devices. Among them, in this paper authors have tackled the problem using an Artificial Neural Network based approach. As a proof of concept, a specific 2KW PEM FC device has been used to obtain the data needed to carry out the process. Using these data, a model of only one signal at both the input and the output has been designed, i.e., the current I-FC at the input and the voltage V-FC at the output. As result of the modeling process that is explained along the paper, a relatively small model showing a medium squared error of 0.012 V-2 with test data has been obtained.

If a web application is migrated or the version of the system is changed then the test scripts becomes incapable of being validated because of the differences in the platform being used in testing. Regression tests need to be applied at that application after migration or version update are required to get written again in order to resolve compatibility issues with the new technologies. A problematic scenario occurs for the automation of script-level test when an application is updated or migrated just to include the technology which is not supported by the tool in use of testing. In this case, the purpose of test automation is eradicated because the scripts for regression testing are rewritten with the scripting language of the new testing tool being utilized. In this paper, a Model-Driven Approach is presented to develop the automated testing scripts for the validation of the FinTech Web Applications. A Meta-Model is proposed that depicts the scenario of regression testing of a FinTech system. A case study of small e-commerce platform known as Liberty Books is used for validation.

To help students better understand abstract information retrieval (IR) concepts and encourage students to explore new concepts, an existing Web-based IR tool called Infret was enhanced. Based on the feedback from a previous evaluation, the need for additional IR concepts and user tracking functionality was identified. The expanded Infret version was evaluated in a class of experienced students who were studying an information search and retrieval course and a class of novice students who were studying a database design and development course. Both groups were working in different learning environments and were given two similar text statistics-based learning activities and four term weighting-based learning activities. At the end of the activities, both groups completed a multi-part survey. The results indicate that the novice students were more inclined to explore unrelated IR concepts after using Infret. Additionally, both groups agreed that exploring the concepts using visualisations helped them more than just calculating the formulae manually. Furthermore, the results show that Infret successfully helps students understand concepts of text statistics and term weighting and was seen as useful by most students. The average system usability score (SUS) for the experienced students was 69.8 and for novice students 57.7. These results indicate that Infret supports exploration and helps students get a better understanding of concepts, however, further improvements are required.

In the current era, Internet of Things (IoT) is facilitating ubiquitous and smart services to the users. IoT applications are widely increasing day by day in many fields such as healthcare, military, industries, agricultural and smart city. While, IoT application are facilitating smart services to provide comfortable living, many new issues also have emerged. Among the issues, data and user privacy is a serious issue to be considered on priority. To better understand privacy related parameters;we have presented a methodology of Privacy Threat Modeling along with Identification of the sensitive information in the Internet of Things. Then, An Adversary Model is described to clarify and comprehend the target attacks by the adversary in the architectural layers of the IoT ecosystem. A privacy risk map has been presented that will help to understand and fix priorities of the involved risk in IoT ecosystem. An IoT application called as Patient Data Provider "PDP" has been presented along with the discussion of the data privacy issues and challenges.
