Named Data Networking (NDN) is a promising framework which advocates ubiquitous in-network caching to enhance content delivery. The framework provides mechanisms for users to request content restricted by public key of its source or the cryptographic digest of the content object to avoid receiving fake content. However, it does not provide any mechanisms to learn this critical information. Blockchain is a distributed ledger technology which could supply enhanced security, easy extensibility and scriptable programmability. Till now, the technology has attracted lots of attentions in network management research. However, each type of blockchain has its drawbacks, which could hurt the efficiency or credibility of system. This paper combines different types of blockchain, leverages a hybrid chain based Hierarchical Name Resolution Service (HNRS) for NDN. The design could provide a credible, efficient, flexible HNRS for NDN, thus supply an important support for NDN to build a credible, efficient, flexible benign ecological environment.

In this study, hydraulic procedures that can compensate problems in conventional model are newly suggested under seismic events in water distribution networks (WDNs). Detailed procedures for estimating the serviceability of WDNs using pressure driven analysis techniques, which can quantify available water supply under abnormal condition, are proposed. The methodologies are applied to Anytown network and get the result to compare with existing method. Proposed method leaded more appropriate hydraulic analysis results in abnormal situations such as earthquakes.

Currently, the issues of providing the high-quality transport services with minimal costs are becoming particularly relevant. The purpose of this work is to increase the efficiency of freight road transport in cities through the development of a two-factor analysis method for the operation of automobiles in the road transportation system of goods. The developed method will allow (by calculation before the test) answering the question of what will happen to the results of cars while simultaneously changing two technical and operational indicators (factors). It is proved that the transportation of goods by vehicles on routes in the cities are carried out in road transport systems of different complexity of the composition and functioning. When solving the problem of establishing the dependence of the simultaneous influence of two significant factors on the resulting indicator, the method of univariate analysis was used the method of "chain substitutions", which became most common in the practice and theory of cargo transportation by road. However, a significant drawback of using the "chain substitutions" technique is some identification of the practice of cargo transportation and the method of analysis used. Preliminary studies have shown that the reception of "chain substitutions", under the conditions of the simultaneous influence of two factors, does not allow obtaining the desired result. The application of the developed heuristic method of two-factor analysis of the vehicles operation in the considered road transport system for the transportation of construction goods will allow both setting such a problem and finding its solution.

This research aims to lay out a framework for analysis the competitiveness of higher education as one of the service sector of economy. The study offers a conceptual model for the analysis and is based on the criteria of quality, social responsibility and economic efficiency. The interests of stakeholders, the potential of the education providers form a core of the model and framework for construction of indicators on higher education system competitiveness analysis according to abovementioned criteria. The proposed model and corresponding indicator frame was applied for the analysis of the higher education system competitiveness of Ukraine's regions. Cluster analysis allowed selecting groups of Ukraine's regions that differ significantly in the level of higher education system competitiveness and require a differentiated governmental policy as well as financial support.

In this paper we describe a proposal that employs Soft computing techniques for developing intelligent dialog systems that can improve over time. To do this, our proposal merges statistical dialog management methodologies, intentional and emotional information in order to make dialog managers more efficient and adaptive. The prediction of the user intention and emotion is carried out for each user turn in the dialog by means of specific modules that are conceived as an intermediate phase between natural language understanding and dialog management in the architecture of these systems. We have applied and evaluated our method in the UAH system, for which the evaluation results show that merging both sources of information improves system performance as well as its perceived quality.

In the present study, we investigated if there are any diurnal variations in serum thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) levels in normal subjects and any alterations in serum TSH, free thyroxine (fT(4)), and free triiodothyronine (fT(3)) levels with aging. Our results showed the presence of a circadian rhythm in serum TSH levels in normal subjects (n = 11;5 males, 6 females;age range 19-46) with no significant changes in fT(3) and fT(4), indicating that the regulation of TSH is central rather than peripheral. In addition, we examined samples from 1,571 euthyroid outpatients (513 males, 1,058 females;age range 10-90) over a 6-month period. Serum TSH levels in age groups 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80-89 were found to be progressively higher than those in the age group 10-19 with no significant differences between male and female populations. These findings suggest the presence of an alteration in TSH secretion with aging.

With the in-depth construction of the national emergency platform project and the increasingly complex network environment, as well as the increasing diversification of intrusion methods, the defects of traditional firewall technology and intrusion detection system in network security protection are highlighted. The security of traditional network systems is mainly guaranteed by two pillar technologies: firewall and intrusion detection. However, network attack technologies are also constantly developing, and new technologies such as small fragmentation attacks, slow scanning, distributed denial of service attacks, and encryption attacks have emerged. Attack programs for network security software such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems have also emerged, all of which place new demands on the development of network security. This paper first analyzes various network intrusion behaviors, and elaborates the attack characteristics of different intrusion behaviors and the corresponding detection methods and anti-attack methods. Then it introduces the traditional network security defense technology, including password, identity authentication, firewall, intrusion detection, etc., and discusses these passive defense technologies in detail, pointing out their inherent shortcomings.

The color of the exterior of a vehicle is an important part of the overall aesthetic of the vehicle. From a perceptual point of view, body color is a way for vehicles to express their emotions and communicate with users. In order to improve the acceptance and satisfaction of the driverless bus for all people, this paper intends to take the color design research of driverless bus as an example to establish potential communication between the driverless bus and the users. Based on the theory of Kansei engineering (KE), perceptual terminologies were quantized by using semantic difference method. According to the result of perceptual experiment on Easymile-EZ10, a database of exterior color is established. Moreover, principal component analysis (PCA) is adopted to transfer multiple perceptual terminological variables into optimized integrated variables, and establishing the exterior color design priority of the driverless bus based on important terminologies.

The theoretical bases of the method of multi-criteria parametric optimization are developed, algorithms of calculation of continuous systems with typical linear regulators are given. Algorithms of the calculation of systems with digital controllers are given and shown on the example of the calculation of system with digital PI-regulator and objects with self-alignment and delay at a given value of the period of discreteness.

The development of brain-computer technology resulted in affordable Brain-Computer Interface peripherals. The purpose of the article is to choose BCI device and the way of passing commands to remote vehicle. Next part of the work is preparation of physical device, which can be controlled through Wi-Fi from Personal Computer. The vehicle is expected to make movements like forward, backward and rotation. Finally, the whole process will be orchestrated by software on PC, which passes commands from BCI device to the vehicle. Thus the robot is controlled with facial expressions, intercepted by BCI device.
