Pharmaceutical business has started reaching out for e-business in Brazil, trying to better fill the digital gap and reach a higher audience. This type of business doesn't show the same relation between digital and physical stores, as the Chris Anderson' long tail theory perceived in bookstore business, but the recent increase of the delivery business has open possibilities and urged the pharmaceutical enterprises to follow. Based on precedent data, a high fidelity prototype was developed and a series of tests were applied to verify its usability and task flow. Conclusion discusses the relation of proposed interaction with users' expectations, the usability tests with the prototype, the relation between stakeholders' interests in the project, the influence of this factor in the applied methods and the final outcome, merging research science with market and business demands.

Brain-machine interface (BMI) is an interfacing mechanism which enables us to interact with an external device just by our thoughts. This technique is currently in wide use in healthcare applications such as artificial limbs. And there are increasing progressions in the development of more accurate, lesser invasive technologies for brain mapping. This makes it possible to blend smart computing methods with BMI to enhance the functionality of smart gadgets like smartphones, VR and intelligent systems with highly improved responsiveness. This technique can also help people with impaired vision, hearing, speech, etc., to use and interact with such devices. This paper has overviewed the methods to implement EEG method of brain-machine interface with cloud computing and machine learning. It has also been discussed that how it can be used with smart computing and devices and how it can extend the usability of contemporary applications.

This work presents a new method to assess the forest-fire parameters and fire front based on uncertain observations in a forest fire-fighting monitoring system, which jointly uses unmanned aerial vehicles and remote sensing. The proposed method is based on analyzing the consecutive image frames captured by optical and infrared cameras. The algorithm of the analysis of images obtained from different points of view simultaneously but separately by both types of cameras is described. Analysis of the optical images is divided into flame and smoke channels. It allows reducing the noise and eliminating cameras' displacement effects in remote sensing images occurring due to vehicles' vibrations. As the result of the analysis of images captured from different observation points, a semi-volumetric representation of the fire front can be evaluated, and various fire areas can be classified by intensity based on approximate flame height estimations. This result allows decision-makers to obtain the necessary information for decision-makers to correctly assess the dynamics of a forest fire. The proposed method has enough performance for assessing forest fires in real-time within the fire response decision support system.

Entrepreneurial games are a promising tool for entrepreneurship education. Students may gain a range of competences and - if feeling satisfied with the gaming episode - develop increased interest in the field. Despite some progress over the last decade, game development and accompanying research are still in exploratory stages. Thus, further best practice examples and insights in game mechanisms are essential. We support progress in two ways. First, we present a self-developed entrepreneurial game, called inspire! build your business. Second, based on data from three inspire! game events, we explore factors influencing gamer's satisfaction via a quantitative approach. We find that the relationship between teacher and students, the structure of the game session and the perceived gains in competency significantly explain variance in satisfaction. These insights along with the best practice example of the inspire! game may contribute to game development and teaching.

The main problem of making managerial decisions in predicting the innovative development of the enterprises under the influence of the environment is to obtain the required volume of quality information, since its small number reduces the accuracy of forecasts, and the greater is associated with the difficulties of processing the production data. The methodological approach is substantiated and the information-entropy model of the quantitative estimation of necessary input information is proposed when making managerial decisions on the innovative development of enterprises caused by fluctuations of the external environment such as the difference between a priori and a posteriori information of the main factors characterizing production activity. An algorithm for eliminating uncertainty, structuring information needs, and means of providing information management as a strategic resource of the dynamics of the flow of production processes is created. An experimental verification of the representativeness of the input information is carried out and it provides the opportunity to remove uncertainty in the formation of the mechanism of innovation development of enterprises in order to achieve a steady state of production. Determining the quantitative assessment of the required input information provides the opportunity to reduce the amount of stocks to compensate the impact of the environment, which will provide a significant economic effect. Calculations of apriori and aposteriori information and the size of entropy will give us the possibility to regulate the process of accumulation of the required amount of information when making managerial decisions.

This study intends to determine the clusters and sentiments of feedback of YouTube users in learning to program in Python and C++. Toward this goal, a total of 2,583 feedback on introductory video tutorials about Python and C++ were collected. It is found that the words "thanks" and "thank" were the most frequently occurring word in both YouTube videos - indicating appreciation and helpfulness of the video tutorials. The results of k-means cluster analyses further disclosed that groups of feedback are similar across the two languages, i.e., confirmation, helpfulness, gratitude, and recommendation. YouTube users expressed positive sentiments towards the tutorial videos. Implications to teaching programming and YouTube video content development are presented. Limitations of the study are also offered.

In Japan, there are vast amount of classical books written in cursive Japanese that cannot be read by modern people. It is difficult to recognize each cursive Japanese separately, because they are written connected. Furthermore, there are many types of shape of characters. Therefore, an efficient method to convert them into modern characters automatically is required. Some methods recognizing a block of a few characters using deep learning have been studied so far. However, every page in a Japanese historical book is stored by a photo image;therefore, it is desirable to recognize all characters in a photo image at once. In this paper, we propose a method using deep learning to recognize cursive Japanese in a photo image without separating a block of characters manually. Furthermore, we evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm using photo images of an actual book.

Recent theoretical developments have revealed that the influences and efficiency that mobile robots have brought to society in the last years are incredibly revealing and should be explored in applications for the benefit of the community and the corporate world. Access to this technology enables the development of innovative research for increasingly active industrial environments. This research constitutes a relatively new area which has emerged from the problems of the industry that aims to automate activities considered costly efficiently. A common strategy used to study mobile robots, in production, is to automate work routines through robots, but specific tasks improve specific works. This paper proposes a new approach to use a SWARM of mobile robots to solve problems in the industry based on the bio-inspired solution. The bacteria can have actions that guarantee the survival of their colony;for this purpose, a series of measures can be adopted by the bacteria constituting the colony. This approach has been widely adopted in the field of SWARM of mobile robots with technical and sensory restrictions, to realize a plausible application in the industrial environment. The results of the experiment found clear support for the methodology created, and the bio-inspired SWARM proved to be potentially useful for applications in real industrial robot solutions conforme artigo [11].
