Every day, several aircraft engines exit Safran plant in the south of Paris. Each engine is assembled and sent for a last bench test before shipment to the aircraft. Among all operations implemented during this hour length phase and after the first run-in, we realize a slow acceleration and a slow deceleration. During those two steps the engine is almost stabilized and a Fourier spectrogram may be evaluated for each rotating speeds. The engine has two shafts and two accelerometers. Hence for each operation we draw four spectrograms with a rotating speed on the x-axis and frequency ordinate. These images are transferred to a team of specialized engineers whose work is to look at the spectrograms and annotates zones they found unusual or patterns they already saw on past observations. Then if something may be of concern, a decision is taken to send the engine back for inspection. This still is today's process, but several years ago we tried image analysis algorithms on the spectrograms and discover a way to help our team in the detection of abnormal patterns. We finally implement two algorithms which employed together give a pretty good detection of interesting zones. Subsequent sections in this paper will present the original data, show some abnormal patterns and describe our set of algorithms. Now, Safran develops a big-data environment with a datalake that capitalizes all measurements and our production test vibrations analysis should be operational in the coming years among lots of other algorithms.

This paper provides a system design framework for a human-robot interaction system. The design introduces a human-augmented robotic intelligence embedded in a human-robot interaction system. The motivations behind the system design are spoken dialogue systems, Wizard-of-OZ framework, and existing HRI designs for socially intelligent robots. In this work, we explain how artificial intelligence of human-robot interaction system is enhanced by human intelligence through collaboration. The collaborative artificial intelligence enables the system to learn from demonstration. The main objective and the gradual progression from this paper is to build an iterative interactive system that is capable of achieving human-robot interaction similar to the nuances of human-human interaction.

Dementia causes cognitive dysfunction and deterioration of brain. Alzheimer Disease (AD) and Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) are most common forms of dementia. Globally, it is estimated that about 47 million people are affected by dementia. Various researches suggest that AD and MCI share a number of equally severe cognitive deficits, but the pathophysiology has not yet been addressed in a comprehensive way. An attempt is made to observe the prognosis difference in these disorders and to analyze the tissue variation in T1-weighted MR brain images. Samples used in this analysis are obtained from IXI, MIRIAD, and ADNI 2 database. Initially, skull stripping is carried out using Robust Brain Extraction Tool (ROBEX), Brain Extraction Tool (BET), and Brain Surface Extractor (BSE). Further, segmentation of brain tissues is performed using multilevel minimum cross-entropy based Bacteria Foraging Algorithm (BFO) and Crow Search Algorithm (CSA). Various geometric features and Structure Tensor (ST) features are extracted from White Matter (WM), Gray Matter (GM), and Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) for normal, MCI, and AD to observe the structural changes. The result shows that ROBEX performs better delineation of brain. Minimum cross-entropy based CSA achieves better segmentation than BFO based on similarity measures and computation time. Further, ST features extracted from the brain tissues are able to show anatomical variation effectively than geometric features. It is identified from the ANOVA test that structure tensor features of GM shows better variation to discriminate normal, MCI, and AD images. Hence, this framework could be used to differentiate normal, MCI, and AD images such as cognitive disorders effectively.

Owing to changing environment and erratic and sedentary lifestyle of people, the whole world is suffering from various non-communicable diseases (NCD) like heart disease, cancer, hypertension, thyroidism, rheumatic arthritis, IBS, etc. Type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is likely to become the commonest and greatest epidemic in human history. Type-2 diabetic mellitus (T2DM) is treated with many anti-hyperglycemic medicines, but the condition is still challenging for us. Now, there is growing interest and acceptability for Ayurveda and other alternative medical systems, especially in management of NCD. Yagyopathy has been detailed mentioned in Ayurveda and Veda as 'DevvyapashrayaChikitsa,' also mentioned by many researchers as (divine or mantra therapy) and 'BhaishjyaYagya' (treatment of ailments by doing Yagya with some medicinal herbs). It has multidimensional benefits on physical, mental, social and spiritual health so that Yagyopathy schedule easily relieved T2DM symptoms effectively and progressively. The present study is done while taking care of these facts and shows the significant benefits in cure of different diseases. The mathematical model has been presented for same, and the results are analyzed which were obtained after experiments on several subjects. Aim and Objective To evaluate the efficacy of Yagya therapy (Yagyopathy) in treatment of Type-2 diabetes mellitus and prediabetic condition.

In this paper, based on the evolution of the functional solution model, a number of different (function-behavior-structure) FBS functional design mapping models are presented. It has found many limitations of the existing function solving model. The reuse of knowledge and mapping of post-redesign are separated. The order of mapping is difficult to judge in the image, cannot be integrated into the innovation redesign stage. The order of mapping is blurry. And the changing environment is not expressed in the image. Therefore, this paper optimizes the design of the FBS mapping model for knowledge reuse, as well as images. An innovative design model S-FES including the above structure or behavior is proposed, which overcomes the above shortcomings and improves the efficiency of the FBS model. The practicality of the new model is illustrated by taking a shoe washing machine as an example.

In our days, problems relating to decision making support in the information and analytical systems are caused mainly by the need to handle a large volume of diverse information and the occurrence of a great number of alternatives of alternatives and multi-objective criteria when choosing them. Application of ontological descriptions in the decision making support chain ensures the dynamic formation of corresponding sets of alternatives and criteria based on the properties of concepts of the domain areas for which relevant decisions are made. Inclusion of ontological models in the information and analytical system environment allows effectively apply a method of hierarchy analysis as a systematic procedure for hierarchic representation and analysis of elements which establish the core of a problem. In this case, validity of a decision depends entirely on the correctness and relevance of ontological domain model, while the objectivity of a method is ensured by fixing the transitive consistency of expert judgment, which eliminates subjectivity and supports the principle of impartiality and justice.

The aim of the work was an analysis of the seven hyperelastic material models ability to capture tendon (from a sheep and domestic pig) response during quasi-static tensile loading. In the first step, animal tendons were tested under tensile loading;then the neo-Hookean, Mooney-Rivlin, Ogden, Humprey, Martins, Veronda-Wenstmann and Yeoh material models were fitted to tendons tensile data. Three different approaches to a modeling procedure were used: (1) models were fitted to tensile data for all tested specimens and coefficients of models were averaged, (2) on the base on registered tensile curves, one average stress-stretch curve was determined and then models were fitted, and (3) for two above described variants, the tensile data were limited to the first and second phase of elongation during fitting procedure and extrapolated to the third phase. Models sensitivity to limitation of experimental data and possibility of predicting tensile behavior in full range of elongation were analyzed. The range of experimental data used to fit the model was crucial factor for the predictive ability of each model.

In order to realize the on-line estimation of the state of charge (SOC) of lead-acid batteries, an unscented Kalman filtering (UKF) algorithm is proposed. Thevenin's circuit is used as the equivalent circuit model, and the state space expression is established. The least squares algorithm is used to identify the model parameters. On this basis, the functional relationship between the state of charge of the battery and various parameters of the model is fitted. By analyzing the principle of unscented Kalman filtering, the equivalent circuit model verification experiment and battery SOC test experiment are designed. The experimental results show that under constant current conditions the proposed method has the advantages of online estimation, high estimation accuracy, and high environmental adaptability.

Efficient intelligent control system helps enterprises to create greater economic value and social value, so the rationalization of information structure plays a decisive role in operators' cognition and operational efficiency. Based on the information characterization method, this paper presents a model of applying the order degree algorithm to the intelligent control system and applies it to the MES production line control system of an enterprise. It not only quantifies the advantages and disadvantages of the information structure by the order degree algorithm, but also provides the direction for the design of the information structure at the beginning of the design process from the microscopic perspective.

Cervical cancer is a disease condition which makes cells on the human organ Cervix grow out of control. Among all women, it is the second most occurring type of cancer. Human papillomavirus is the cause of this disease. Early stage detection of cancer helps in finalizing correct medication at the appropriate time. Diagnosis of cervical cancer involves human expertise to a greater extend. Advanced medical imaging enables computerized methods to identify the cancerous cells at beginning stage. Detecting the cervix type is very important as the type of treatment depends on the cervix type. We intend to propose a classification technique to predict the cervix type using Neural networks. From our earlier works, it is understood that the lack of powerful preprocessing techniques for finding Region of Interest(ROI) is missing in the literature. We have developed a Neural Network(UNet) based segmentation technique for cutting the ROI from the input image set. Finally, a CNN model is designed, developed and trained for classifying the cervix type. The applicability of transfer learning to cervix type prediction is also tried. A accuracy of 70% is obtained.
