The properties of ontological models to reflect the conceptual view of a researcher on a certain subject area and uniquely determine its concept, structure, accumulate and reuse knowledge repeatedly and make it possible to widely use it in the educational process. However, the existing tools for constructing ontological models of ontology knowledge (Protege in integration with OWLViz, OntoGraf, 3D Hyperbolyc, Tree, TODOS, etc.) only partially satisfy the needs of the educational process. The choice of a particular visualization method is specific and has its own characteristics depending on the task. When choosing visualization tools, it is important that they do not only help to effectively reflect all the information, but, at the same time, allow the user to perform easily various operations on ontologies. There is no single definite method that is universal. The article describes the author's web resource https://***, designed to create and visualize the hierarchical structure of subject areas using an ontograph, is implemented as a combination of contentcontaining concepts (vertices, nodes) and the relationships between these concepts. The authors determine the possibilities of using the ontological approach in the pedagogical process by the example of working with the web resource they created, which provides convenient use of ontologies. The article discusses examples of using ontologies to provide semantic annotation for collections of images, sound and other non-text objects;for the development of documentation of arbitrary volume;for building directories with the ability to support the surjective connection of objects (nodes);to simplify the performance of search work, etc. The purpose of the article is to reveal the features of the use of ontological structures for visualizing knowledge schemes and components of the operational management of information objects.

With the spread of computers and smartphones, e-learning plays an important role in learning. By using the advanced ICT like 3D CG, we can provide attractive and interactive teaching materials. Although there are a wide variety of teaching materials, the authors focus on education games (one of the serious games) containing RPG elements on web browsers because RPG games work not only to acquire knowledge but also to raise awareness. In this paper, the authors propose a framework for developing web-based serious games including RPG elements in a 3D environment and developed a serious game which aimed at raising awareness of energy consumption through using the proposed framework. By only changing 3D models to be used in the framework, developers can easily build 3D RPG serious games with basic functions. This paper describes some functions of the proposed framework and how the functions work on the web browser in detail.

In this article, we show how to control the numerical quality of half precision computations using stochastic arithmetic. The CADNA library that is used to estimate rounding errors and detect numerical instabilities in floating-point codes has been improved and extended to support half precision. A performance gain up to a factor 20 has been observed w.r.t. accuracy estimation in arbitrary precision. Furthermore we present how to generate codes mixing half, single, and double precision with a requested accuracy on results providing a user-defined numerical quality of the code. Control of robustness and floating-point auto-tuning taking into account half precision have been successfully performed on various numerical simulations, in particular a control application.

Determining the factors influencing students' intention to use Augmented Reality (AR) allows a deeper understanding on how students react to the use of such technologies in their training as engineers. This study aims to identify the emotional and cognitive factors that influence the students' intention of using AR in their future professional life and to access possible gender differences. A group of about 150 undergraduate students from an Engineering and Industrial Management program had the opportunity to explore AR applications related to contents addressed in Sensors and Actuators course. A survey was designed and used with those students. Principal component analysis resulted in three components named interest, ease of use and attitude. Logistic regression analysis was conducted with these three components together with gender, as predictors of intention of using AR in later professional life. Attitude turned out to be the strongest predictor. This analysis has also shown that gender has no significant effect.

This paper presents the wide review of the state of the university masters or graduate programs in the discipline of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and related areas up to 2020. This work has been done as part of the design and development process of a new interuniversity and international master's program graduate developed between the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (UNAD) of Colombia and the Universidad de Lleida (UdL) in Spain. The review was necessary to know what other institutions did, the needs of the market and organizations, contrast with our owns experiences and ideas to propose of graduate program. It was done by searching for information using educational databases, listings that group masters or graduate program at the level of master in these areas, search engines for master's degrees, articles, documents of organizations that work on HCI. The objective of achieving the state of the masters in HCI is to know what universities are teaching worldwide compared to the needs of companies or organizations and if there is a congruence between what is being taught at the level world in the academy and the requirements of organizations.

In recent years, the growing demand for animal products led to an increase of the number and size of animal farms across the world. Farmers are facing with a multitude of challenges in order to properly manage their business, as they have to consider increasingly complex factors within their decisions, such as: more diverse and larger numbers of animals to manage, more demanding production requirements, complex business models to choose from, environmental restrictions, etc. Thus, the transition from conventional agricultural practices to more technology-based approaches is mandatory. In this regard, the newest advancements in technology will enable the development of Precision Livestock Farming (PLF). In this paper, we are showcasing a blockchain-based monitoring and management platform which plans to help farmers improve their activities, reduce costs, minimize the environmental footprint and manage their resources more efficiently.

Electroencephalography is proposed as an alternative for evaluating user experience with two interactive systems. Traditionally, evaluation methods are applied either during the interaction, which can disturb the user, or at the end where the user does not usually remember all of their interactions. Therefore, using a BCI (Brain Computer Interface) device as OPEN-BCI as an alternative to evaluate the user experience of a subject while interacts with two interactive systems. In this evaluation were analyzed the sub-bands: alpha, theta and beta. The results show differences in workload and emotions. In addition, consistent analysis of the EEG data, were applied questionnaires, as: SUS, NASA-TLX y SAM, where data showed high consistency.

Industry 4.0 is storming the world and irreversibly changes it. If Industry 4.0's physical components develop at an accelerated rate, the human component tends to keep pace. Considering this, it is the responsibility of universities to renew their curricula as soon as possible for the new industrial reality. The MSIE 4.0 project has brought together universities from Thailand, Poland, Portugal and Romania to develop a master programme oriented to Industry 4.0. After analysing existing curricula from various universities and performing a gap analysis between the skills required by industry and those offered by universities, a new curriculum was drawn up, consisting of 16 courses.

In this paper we present an approach of multimodal data complex representation and processing based on the mathematical abstractions, such as aggregates and multi-images, as well as operations and relations between these mathematical objects, which are defined in the Algebraic System of Aggregates. This approach can be employed for online laboratories and immersive environments development for complex representation and processing of multimodal data which describe an object (process, phenomenon) of study. Such complex representation is resulted in obtaining a Digital Twin of the object of study that enables effective solving such tasks as modelling, prediction, classification, etc. In the paper we also propose the general architecture of an online laboratory and an immersive environment based on the presented mathematical background. A possible approach to software development for multimodal data processing is discussed in the paper as well.

At present there is a large number of users with mobile devices, however, this potential is not used to the maximum. In this regard, it was decided to develop a system with mobile technology that allows the visualization of content about to any topic. With this, students to have a way of studying about a subject or several at all times, from anywhere, without having to be connected to the internet and not install new apps. This work describes the design and implementation of a system with two tools. The first, Athrim 1.0, an application oriented to mobile devices, which allows students to visualize and consult information using different multimedia resources. The second tool is a desktop application MobileDataCreator, which is going to be manipulated by the teachers. This tool allows create different contents and saving them in a file to be visualized in Athrim 1.0, with aim to contribute the learning of diverse topics.
