Contactless detection of heart and breathing rate is very impressive and interesting technology in biomedical field. This technology can play a vital role in life saving in different scenarios. For example, the burnt patients mostly suffer significantly with pain when ECG machine electrodes are hanged with finger and/or with chest. Thus, in this paper, we propose a contactless bio sensing apparatus, i.e., ultra-sonic bio radar, to detect the heart and breathing rates remotely. We aim to obtain these vital signs of human without any physical contact of the device with a human body by detecting the Doppler frequency shift in the received electromagnetic signal. Furthermore, the proposed approach can be also used for life detection buried under the debris in any disaster area. Since the work is still in progress, the results obtained so far indicate that the proposed method has capability to find the desired vital signs.

Industry 4.0 is the dawn of an era of data oriented and connected industrial processes. Education 4.0 is the need for way of preparing the next generation for Industry 4.0. The purpose of the paper is to identify, measure and evaluate the role of advanced and collaborative learning practices in education, collectively termed as Education 4.0 in building Engineers and Researchers of Tomorrow in fields of Data Driven Technologies. The paper analyses the three case studies of Remote Engineering in Manufacturing sector, Remote Labs in Academic Environment and transition of students from Remote Lab builders to Remote Engineering Framework builders. The key outcomes of the paper include mapping of common skills, impact of industrial work exposure and correlation between the two technologies This paper provides an insight into the various education technologies and their importance in Industry to facilitate modern industrial technologies.

The Jewish orthodox community is considered a secluded group within the Israeli people. In the Jewish orthodox community in Israel it is common that only the women study general studies such as mathematics and science while most of the men focus on religious studies. In such cases the women become the wage earners in their families. In order to fulfill their potential orthodox women are required to acquire higher education in the standard Academic institutes. Like many others of the younger generation they also are attracted to Software Engineering, Computer science and the digital high-tech world. Since they come from an environment that does not allow women and men to study together, a special program was established for them by an academic college allowing them to study in their own separated group for a degree in Software Engineering. They study the exact same curriculum as the secular mixed group but on a different campus. Since they come from a different background it is interesting to compare their achievements in studying to those of the mixed group. To do so and avoid the influence of their initial education the author decided to look into one 4th years course given both to the orthodox group and to a mixed group. The author, who was the lecturer of this course, for both the orthodox and mixed group, compares in this work the differences and similarities between the two groups, both by addressing their measurable success in the course and in attendance, active participation and more.

The goal of V2V Vehicle-to-Vehicle communication is to prevent accidents by allowing vehicles in transit to send position and speed data to one another over an ad hoc mesh network. Depending upon how the technology is implemented, the vehicle's driver may simply receive a warning should there be a risk of an accident or the vehicle itself may take pre-emptive actions such as braking to slow down. When observing the Chilean sea from both biotic and mechanical perspective, oceanographers note that the Humboldt Current carries abundant biomass and that the movement of the water itself has the capacity to do work. Taking advantage of these two qualities of the ocean current, this article exposes the sketch of an automated device, the computational simulation when it was conceived and its mathematical model to make efficient the capture of biomass that will be processed, stored and dispatched as biodiesel. Said submerged automaton has a structural configuration that was outlined by cybernetic design resulting in a body that carries out the transformation process by itself, which starts on the side that faces the current with its content of biomass. This raw material is trapped thanks to an intelligent system that informs the reactor about the relative importance of the state variables that its body can control, stimulating those swimming organisms to move in the desired direction. The captured biomass begins its process until it becomes biodiesel by virtue of the mechanical energy provided by the same flow of seawater that affects the reactor. The rear part of the reactor releases both incident water and by-products into the sea without harmful environmental consequences. Some users of this new type of device are armies in time of conflict and merchant marines during algae bloom.

Various courses and trainings aim to teach cybersecurity with only few measures for learning outcomes. Existing metrics such as general grades do not reflect the various competencies and specific outcomes that make up a course. More specific measures targeting competencies are needed: this differentiated approach must reflect course specificities, but also be general enough to be transferable to other courses. This study presents a competency mapping approach based on the NIST NICE framework, demonstrated in a cybersecurity course on bachelor level. The approach enables to evaluate specific competencies and their relevance to various cybersecurity job roles. Additionally, this type of competency mapping can provide useful insights for designing and managing the course content in general.

Medical care has always presented quite wide ranged and challenging problems. The paper describes the introduction of the course of intercultural business communication into the curriculum of the Faculty of Informatics and Management of the University of Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic, five years ago as an obligatory subject for foreign students visiting the university. Initially, the subject was taught using traditional methods like lectures of the tutor and the seminars. However, after a few years blended learning methodology was introduces into the course. The students' satisfaction with the course was tested after each year and the paper compares the results before and after the introduction of blended learning into the subject. Computer aided course clearly proves to be assessed by the students more positively and the paper thus stresses the important of necessary introduction of hybrid and blended learning into traditional curricula as it shows significant improvements in students' satisfaction, motivation and performance levels.

The concept of ergodicity as described in the London Mathematical Laboratory seems very counterintuitive. Something is ergodic when its time average equals to its expectation value. Transferring this sentence into a more suitable real-life situation, one can say pooling and sharing earnings will increase one's wealth steadily over time. One may wonder why should they cooperate with each other when they all have bad exterior conditions? Will cooperation not make everything worse? We developed a Business Simulation Game, New Rising of the Ylsung concept, which tests different parameters to visualize the concept of ergodicity. We distinguished that in most of the cases it brings a greater advantage to collaborate than to work by oneself. Moreover, the simulation helps high school students to understand the research of the London Mathematical Laboratory in a playful manner. Hence, they do not have to read research papers, but simply play through our Business Simulation Game while adjusting the parameter sets and analyzing the graphs. Our main aim is to find out to what extend the application of different parameters between cooperation and non-cooperation differ from each other and how the application of those looks in real-life scenarios.
