Myostatin is a potent growth and differentiation factor involved in skeletal muscle tissue formation in vertebrates. However, recent studies in chicken embryos suggest that the myostatin is expressed even before the establishment of myogenic lineage,and the functions of myostatin are not limited to skeletal muscle, because of its ubiquitous expression in chicken. No studies have thus far been definitively reported the expression patterns of myostatin in malformed chicken embryos. The present experiment was designed to study myostatin mRNA expression and distribution pattern in normal and malformed chicken embryos (HH26) using whole-mount in situ hybridization. The expression and distribution patterns of myostatin in the two kinds of developing chicken embryos were compared. The results showed that myostatin mRNA expression and distribution patterns in normal chicken embryos were symmetry and orderliness. However, myostatin expression in malformed chicken embryos was disorderly and unsystematic. In conclusion, we found for the first time that there existed different myostatin expression and distribution patterns between normal and malformed chicken embryos, and the results may be useful in further studying myostatin functions.

The active moving mass system is used to reduce the undesirable rolling motion in the present paper. First, dynamic differential equations of the ship roll with moving mass system are built. After that, the mathematical models of different control methods, including PID feedback control and model predictive control, have been built. The simulations of different anti-rolling methods are numerically achieved based on Simulink. Finally, a model test is conducted in S60 model. The results are presented and the rolling amplitude can be reduced up to 70% in irregular wave.

The relation is usually nonlinear since there are some interactions among the inherent but covert contributions from these previous records towards the final examination. Regarding the score of the final examination as the objective attribute and the previous records as the predictive attributes, the nonlinear multiregression based on the Choquet integral with respect to a nonadditive measure is a proper tool to catch the interaction and, therefore, describe above-mentioned relation well. In this paper, a 2-interactive measure is used as the nonadditive measure to reduce the computational complexity.

Improvement of voltage profile in modern power system is a challenging task due to its stressed operating conditions. Use of Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) devices like SVC and Stacom can be an economic solution to this problem. Statcom is a second generation FACTS device, which is basically voltage source converter that can be used in voltage control mode or reactive power injection mode. For stable operation and control of power systems it is essential to provide real time solution to the Operator in energy control centers. In this paper, particle swarm optimization (PSO) is proposed for development of feed forward neural networks for estimation of the control and operating parameters of Statcom used for improving voltage profile in a power system. The PSO-ANN provides result with faster convergence speed and avoids the local minima problem. Two PSO based three-layered feed-forward neural networks are developed to estimate the control/ operating parameters of statcom used for improving voltage profile at various loading condition of power system. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated on IEEE 30-bus power system. The results obtained clearly indicate the superiority of the proposed approach for parameter tuning of Statcom.

To understand the mechanisms of antifungal role and immunoloregulation about timosaponin, we adopt adhesion experiment that After pretreating the standard strains (ATCC14053. CMCCClc) of candida albicans with medicine of different concentration, added the human buccal epithelium cells and cultured, then calculated fungal count on each buccal epithelium which 100 cells were counted randomly in optical microscope. we adopted in vivo phagocytic experimentation on BALB/c mice that calculated phagocytic percentage and phagocytic index of phagocyte on Candida albicans. Results showed that there were the significant difference which value was P<0.001 compared experimental group with control group, the strength of inhibition was positively correlated with drug concentration. The mean of phagocytic percentage of phagocyte on ATCC I 4053 and CMCCC1c was 75.1% and 67.9%, which P value was P<0.01 and P<0.01, the mean of phagocytic index phagocyte on ATCC14053 and CMCCC1c was 2.03 and 1.53, which P value was P<0.01 and P<0.01. These results prompt that timosaponin can apparently inhibit the adherence of Candida allbicans to the human buccal epithelium cell and enhance phagocytosis of mice phagocyte on candida albicans.

This paper concerns the domain of Supply Chain Network Infrastructure (SCNI) usually observed in the multimodal transportation systems such as Multi-modal Passenger Transport Systems supported by lines of buses, trains, etc., and focuses on the scheduling problems encountered in these systems. SCNI can be modeled as a network of lines providing cyclic routes for particular kinds of stream-like moving transportation means. Lines and using them passengers can be seen as a multi agent system where passengers expectations compete with lines capability. The main question regards of SCNI schedulability, e.g. the guarantee the same distances in assumed different directions will require similar amount of the travel time. The declarative model of SCNI enabling to formulate cyclic scheduling problem in terms of the constraint satisfaction is our contribution.

This paper presents a fuzzy particle swarm optimizer to solve the economic load dispatch (ELD) problem of thermal generators of a power system. Several factors such as quadratic cost functions with valve point loading is considered in the computation models. The Fuzzy particle swarm optimization (FPSO) provides a new mechanism to avoid premature convergence problem with optimum solution. The proposed method has been applied to 3 and 40 generator power system whose cost functions are non-convex in nature. Results obtained by this method have been compared with those obtained by PSO method. The experimental results show that proposed FPSO method is capable of obtaining optimum solution in fewer numbers of iterations.
