With the development of e-commerce, the number of consumers engaging in online clothing shopping has rapidly increased. To attract more attention to their fashion apparel, retailers are required to provide high-quality clothing display images that showcase rich details. Traditional virtual try-on techniques often lead to a loss of clothing details due to unnatural deformations of the garments. To address this issue, we propose a framework called Mannequin2Real+ for transforming mannequin images into photorealistic model images while preserving complete clothing details. The designed framework consists of two stages: a coarse-grained human body generation module and a refined-clothing human body alignment module. The model first generates a coarse-grained photorealistic model based on the mannequin's pose and the target model's facial features while retaining the complete clothing region. Subsequently, it optimizes the image generated in the previous stage by addressing issues such as ghosting artifacts and clothing artifacts based on the real model's skin, facial, and other features, producing high-quality, photorealistic model images. To validate the effectiveness of our proposed Mannequin2Real+, we conduct experiments on the high-resolution DeepFashion dataset. Additionally, we construct a real-world dataset of photographed mannequin models for testing Mannequin2Real+. The experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of our method.

Modern Ontology-Based Engineering (OBE) systems, built over the foundations of Knowledge-Based Engineering (KBE), leverage ontology-based technologies and the semantic web to capture and formalise knowledge holistically. This comprehensive knowledge repository can subsequently feed design and decision support tools with robust generative features. However, the integration and reuse of knowledge poses challenges for which it is necessary to develop appropriate methods and tools capable of handling diverse types of knowledge from both human experience and databases. The objective of this paper is to discuss the current limitations of OBE systems to address knowledge integration and reuse, based on the research and experiences of the authors in the aerospace manufacturing industry. This aims to provide a set of Research Questions (RQ) and the author's position to them, to serve as future research work and topics of discussion for the scientific community.

As graph embedding research evolves, contributing to this research requires understanding prevailing challenges that current state-of-the-art models may not fully address. Navigating this dynamic landscape, however, is challenging due to the abundance of literature and the complexity, especially for newcomers to the field. Although review articles aim to synthesize information to solve this challenge, they can be intricate and encompass numerous models, some of which may lack widespread recognition within the research community. Our investigation focuses on fundamental embedding techniques that have made significant contributions and serve as embedding strategies in this field. In addition to categorizing them, we reproduce these repositories to evaluate their performance in similar settings, analyze their limitations, and point to future research. This approach aims to provide a concise yet comprehensive overview, facilitating accessibility for researchers entering the domain.

The shift to Industry 5.0 emphasizes human-machine collaboration, personalization, sustainability, and worker support. This paper explores integrating Digital Twins (DT) and Cyber-Physical Production Systems (CPPS) within a human-centric Smart Manufacturing framework. Digital Twins offer real-time prediction, simulation, and optimization, enhancing production efficiency and adaptability. CPPS merges computational and physical processes, supporting human-machine collaboration and improved decision-making. The main objective is to enhance sustainability, efficiency, and human-centricity in data-driven manufacturing. This research reviews current technologies, proposes a novel framework integrating DT and CPPS, and assesses implementing a Smart Product (SP) within a Smart Factory (SF) scenario. Key innovations include designing and integrating SPs, developing smart manufacturing processes, and applying DT for enhanced SP functionality. The findings demonstrate improvements in production efficiency, customization, human-machine collaboration, and sustainability, aligning with Industry 5.0 principles. The study concludes with recommendations for future research to integrate ergonomics, cybersecurity, and ethical considerations in smart manufacturing.

This research paper explores the complexities surrounding smart contracts, computer code designed to automate contractual processes, thus bypassing the need for intermediary enforcement. As smart contracts gain traction, jurisdictions worldwide grapple with regulating them. Challenges arise from the novel nature of these contracts, as their enforcement poses unique dilemmas within legal frameworks. While some believe regulation is feasible, others question the enforceability of code-based agreements. Mauritius, aspiring to be Africa's Fintech hub, is addressing these issues through the Virtual Asset and Initial Token Offering Services Act 2021. However, uncertainties persist regarding the enforceability of smart contracts. This research examines smart contracts comprehensively, exploring technical and legal dimensions to unravel their complexity. It scrutinises Mauritius' legal landscape to ascertain the compatibility of smart contracts with existing contract laws and the effectiveness of the 2021 Act in regulating them.

The security underpinnings of conventional cryptographic schemes are compromised by quantum computing which prompted advancements in public key cryptography for postquantum primitives and protocols that are immune to quantum attacks. Most existing research on post quantum Attribute Based Encryption techniques is predicated on lattice based cryptographic assumptions. Despite being thought to provide a robust defense against quantum attacks, code based cryptography has yet to be sufficiently explored in the context of ABE. This paper presents a robust Attribute Based Encryption scheme designed to ensure post quantum security using code based cryptographic assumptions. We integrate ABE into the McEliece cryptosystem and propose a post quantum key policy ABE framework that combines the security advantages of code based cryptosystems with the fine grained access control of ABE. The proposed technique enables effortless integration of attributes into the public key without inflating the key size.

The research seeks to ascertain the degree to which English language instructors employ artificial intelligence applications in their work. The study utilized the analytical descriptive approach, in which a survey was distributed to a sample of 150 instructors. The survey revealed that English language instructors' utilization of artificial intelligence applications was typically moderate to poor across most aspects, with an overall average of 2.90, suggesting a moderate degree. These findings indicate that English language instructors have very little incorporated artificial intelligence applications into their teaching practices, suggesting that efforts in this field are still rather small. In addition, English language teachers face several obstacles when employing artificial intelligence apps. These issues include cultural and linguistic hurdles, resource restrictions, the complexity of building such programs, and certain persons' resistance to accepting them. Hence, English language instructors have challenges when employing artificial intelligence systems. The research suggests promoting and facilitating the integration of artificial intelligence applications by incentivizing instructors and establishing favorable circumstances.

Dialogue system is one of the research area coming into picture because of advancement in natural language processing and deep learning methods. Dialogue systems are designed for communication between humans and machine. When humans communicate with each other they use their own intelligence to carry conversation but this intelligence is missing in machines. Researchers have attempted to accommodate external knowledge with machines to generate knowledge-enhanced responses. Knowledge graph is one of the structured ways of providing an abstraction of the real world knowledge to the machine, and machine in turn can use this knowledge to improve the quality of response generated by dialogue systems. Generating knowledge grounded response is a challenging task. Recently most of the architectures are end-to-end dialogue system, in contrast to them this paper proposes three step architecture which extracts entity from input using inside outside beginning 2 tagging and Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers, secondly entity related sub-graph is extracted using laplacian matrix method then knowledge grounded response are generated using extracted subgraph and Gated recurrent unit encoder-decoder model. This architecture has independent fact retrieval system which is detached from two tunable NER model and response generation model which makes the model training easy as compared to end-to-end trainable system and also improves the overall performance of the system. Proposed model is tested on standard benchmark dataset In-car and shows performance comparable with existing models.

This research investigates User Experience (UX) issues in dataset search, targeting Google Dataset Search and ***. It focuses on 6 areas within UX: Initial Interaction, Search Process, Dataset Exploration, Filtering and Sorting, Dataset Actions, and Assistance and Feedback. The evaluation method combines 'The Pandemic Puzzle' user task, think-aloud methods, and demographic and post-task questionnaires. 29 strengths and 63 weaknesses were collected from 19 participants involved in roles within technology firm or academia. While certain insights are specific to particular platforms, most are derived from features commonly observed in dataset search platforms across a variety of fields, implying that our findings are broadly applicable. Observations from commonly found features in dataset search platforms across various fields have led to the development of 10 new design prototypes. Unlike literature retrieval, dataset retrieval involves a significant focus on metadata accessibility and quality, each element of which can impact decision-making. To address issues like reading fatigue from metadata presentation, inefficient methods for results searching, filtering, and selection, along with other unresolved user-centric issues on current platforms. These prototypes concentrate on enhancing metadata-related features. They include a redesigned homepage, an improved search bar, better sorting options, an enhanced search result display, a metadata comparison tool, and a navigation guide. Our aim is to improve usability for a wide range of users, including both developers and researchers.
