Cyber threats have emerged as one of the significant risks facing governments, organizations and individuals. The sophistication and frequency of cyber-attacks are increasing daily despite advanced security controls. This trend indicates the need to look beyond technical security controls to prevent cyber incidents. The previous research suggests that security education, training, and awareness (SETA) programs are effective countermeasures along with other technical and administrative controls. The end user's security behaviour is critical in mitigating cyber threats. However, prior research studies indicate that most SETA programs fail to meet their objectives for various reasons. One of the reasons is the lack of systematic and theory-based design and development process of the SETA program. This paper proposes a framework for enhancing the cybersecurity behaviours of smartphone users based on the Fogg Behavioural Model (FBM). The FBM is used to design a power prompt in the proposed framework. The proposed framework was tested using a between-subjects design (n = 94) and found to be effective in creating cybersecurity awareness. The participants in the intervention group are 2.65 times more likely to adopt recommended behaviours. This framework may be useful in the design of an effective SETA program.

With the increasing incidence of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's Disease (AD), there is a need for further research that enhances detection and monitoring of the diseases. We present MORPHADE (Morphological Autoencoders for Alzheimer's Disease Detection), a novel unsupervised learning approach which uses deformations to allow the analysis of 3D T1-weighted brain images. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first use of deformations with deep unsupervised learning to not only detect, but also localize and assess the severity of structural changes in the brain due to AD. We obtain markedly higher anomaly scores in clinically important areas of the brain in subjects with AD compared to healthy controls, showcasing that our method is able to effectively locate AD-related atrophy. We additionally observe a visual correlation between the severity of atrophy highlighted in our anomaly maps and medial temporal lobe atrophy scores evaluated by a clinical expert. Finally, our method achieves an AUROC of 0.80 in detecting AD, out-performing several supervised and unsupervised baselines. We believe our framework shows promise as a tool towards improved understanding, monitoring and detection of AD. To support further research and application, we have made our code publicly available at ***/ci-ber/MORPHADE.

The vacuum cleaner robot is a common didactic example in the field of multi-agent systems. Normally, the robot is placed inside a grid world and reasons directly on the step to perform. In this work, we propose a different approach where the robot body and the robot mind are separated, the body is placed in a continuous environment and the mind reasons in a more abstract way on regions instead of cells, leaving to the body the task of moving continuously. In this way, the robot is able to abstract more and focus on high-level tasks instead of low-level details. An implementation of the proposed approach is presented with JaCaMo agents and a Godot simulation, using Region Connection Calculus (RCC) as base for the agent.

Agriculture is currently undergoing progressive diversification and expansion, as demonstrated by the wide range of research topics and methodologies being employed. The growing need for technology to enhance agricultural processes is increasingly evident and prominently highlighted in recent studies. To assess the influence of Big Data on agriculture and its potential to advance Smart Agriculture, this bibliometric study was conducted. The research consolidates bibliometric data from the Scopus database, using the Bibliometrix package to identify trends in this field. The findings show a growing annual publication rate, indicating increasing interest in the integration of data analysis methodologies within agriculture. The collaborative nature of the research, combined with a high citation rate per document and diversity of key terms, underscores the importance of this field and its potential contribution to achieving Smart Agriculture. The convergence of Big Data, the Internet of Things, and agriculture is particularly noteworthy, as these technologies are improving decision-making and efficiency in the agricultural sector. Despite certain limitations, this study highlights the transformative potential of these advancements and suggests areas for future research, thus laying the groundwork for a more sustainable, productive, and intelligent agricultural future.

Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) aircraft are designed to take off, hover, and land vertically. They require significant amount of thrust specially during takeoff and landing phases to counteract the force of gravity. The ability to generate high thrust is a critical aspect of VTOL design. To generate the necessary thrust, VTOL aircraft require specialized propulsion systems such as ducted propellers. However, most of these aircraft continue to use general-purpose propulsion systems that leads to loss of thrust and efficiency. In this paper we discuss how we were able to achieve much higher thrust and efficiency gains by using electric ducted propellers. We will study the design considerations we made to make our propellers more efficient. Mechanical designs of the ducted propeller, the rotor, and other components are explained along with dimensions. The electrical subsystem including power, motor, controllers are also covered. We will also discuss the experimental setup we used to perform the tests. Experimental results were obtained and compared for our ducted propeller and general-purpose un-ducted propellers. Simulations were carried out using the CAD model of the propellers and results were compared with experimental data. We also present performance characteristics of our propellers under various mechanical and electrical conditions.

In Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), the utilization of lower-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technology raises questions about the applicability of machine learning (ML) methods for clinical tasks. This study aims to provide a robust deep learning-based brain tumor segmentation (BraTS) method tailored for the SSA population using a threefold approach. Firstly, the impact of domain shift from the SSA training data on model efficacy was examined, revealing no significant ***, a comparative analysis of 3D and 2D full-resolution models using the nnU-Net framework indicates similar performance of both the models trained for 300 epochs achieving a five-fold cross-validation score of 0.93. Lastly, addressing the performance gap observed in SSA validation as opposed to the relatively larger BraTS glioma (GLI) validation set, two strategies are proposed: fine-tuning SSA cases using the GLI + SSA best-pretrained 2D fullres model at 300 epochs, and introducing a novel neural style transfer-based data augmentation technique for the SSA cases. This investigation underscores the potential of enhancing brain tumor prediction within SSA's unique healthcare landscape.

Based on the generalized possibilistic Kripke structure, possibilistic fuzzy linear temporal logic, GPoCTL* and generalized possibility measure, this article studies the model-checking problems of generalized possibilistic fuzzy CTL* (GPoFCTL*). GPoFCTL* includes fuzzy temporal logic operators such as "soon", "presently", "gradually", "last", "within","finally", "nearly always", "almost always", "in the distant future", "in the middle", "almost until", "nearly until". This paper studies the syntax of GPoFCTL* and its semantics based on generalized possibility measures. In addition, we present an model checking algorithm for GPoFCTL* using fuzzy matrix operations. Finally, we present an example to illustrate the computational process of the model checking algorithm.

The traditional traceability field suffers from shortcomings such as opaque product circulation and centralized management. Owing to its decentralized, tamper-proof, and easy-to-trace characteristics, blockchain has gradually emerged as the preferred choice for traceability. This paper introduces the blockchain data structure and smart contract, and then proposes a seafood traceability system grounded in blockchain after a thorough analysis of the challenges in traditional seafood traceability. The system employs hyperledger fabric as its underlying framework, which is combined with the InterPlanetary File System's (IPFS) permanent and decentralized storage, alleviating the high storage costs and low efficiency issues caused by excessive data. The feasibility of this scheme is confirmed through performance testing of the system.

Smart cyber agents are pivotal in software-intensive systems such as smart manufacturing, robotics, and the Internet of Things. These agents monitor physical surroundings through sensors and make impactful decisions that influence the environment. Software engineering challenges in this domain include the specification of interactive multi-agent tasks. The general-purpose Domain-Specific Language named LIrAs, Language for Interactive Agents, is a high-level language that allows for unambiguous custom pattern definition. Additionally, LIrAs facilitates interactions with human agents, a safety-critical situation requiring particular attention. This paper lays the foundation for LIrAs specifications translation to Stochastic Hybrid Automaton (SHA). The target SHA model structure follows a three-layer hierarchical structure and makes LIrAs specifications amenable to formal verification, specifically Statistical Model Checking, through the Uppaal tool, capable of including time-dependent physical phenomena, such as human fatigue and robot dynamics.
