This paper deals with the classification of eight types of rice grain using image processing and neural network. Three different texture feature extraction schemes based on co-occurrence matrix, run length matrix and wavelet decomposition were considered. The contribution of these texture feature extraction techniques towards rice grain classification were analysed and compared. A back propagation neural network is used for this classification task. The performance in terms of classification accuracy of the above three texture feature extraction schemes where tested. It is found that texture feature based on wavelet decomposition is able to classify eight different types of rice grain with an overall classification accuracy of 98.87% as compared to other texture feature extraction schemes discussed in this paper. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Discovering the ladder levels of diffusion portrayal by applying Some learning algorithms with its table levels. The research has already laid an immense conceptual result. Algorithm learn, quantum leap of experiments is performed but still the insolvency remains. This paper propounds few challenges specially pointing to mount the deep learning algorithms to sustainable models and datasets by minimizing the inflation pitfalls faced due to the local minima. Also modeling the effective interference and procedure sampling to liberate the factors of variation based on observed data. It also hints on few enlightened research visions. This paradigms with unsupervised learning can be utilized over the hypothesis where A(j) (i.e. the distribution input) is constructively a part of some learning of interest, predicting A(k|j). Melanoma is one of the most vigorous and life threatening kind of skin cancer, accounting for millions of death per year. Understanding the process of normal cells transforming to melanoma cells has become a current necessity. The prime objective of the study is to classify the mutated genes that have a role in transforming normal skin epithelial cells into a melanoma cell and predicting their clinical relevance and health care perspective. In order to achieve the objective, we have conducted a comprehensive genome analysis using whole exome sequencing data, precisely focusing on mutations or gene alterations at distinct stages of melanoma. The high number of mutations was predicted at the metastatic stage on conducting whole exome sequence data analysis, wherein study showed that among 61 genes involved in melanoma process, majority of genes are part of NF-KB and WNT signaling pathway, thereby hints the involvement of these two pathways in melanoma disease progression. The identified genes are OR52E2, OR51I1, OR52A5, OR5AS1, OR52E6, OR10P1, OR5M1, OR10A7, OR9Q2, OR52I1, RASA1, and PIK3CA. Further, Invitro analysis of these genes may prove the possibility of melanoma biomarkers. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Modeling of fuel cell characteristics is a major challenge, researchers are addressing day by day to solve due to its non-linear characteristics in nature. Hence, to solve this problem which is in existence for over a decade, the authors have deduced an objective function by employing Artificial Immune System (AIS) optimization technique. The attained results using the proposed approach is compared with the expected results as per the manufactures data sheet and also tested under various operating conditions of temperature and pressure. With increase of demand in digital network more and more accurate images are transmitted. Whenever we are transmitting an image with larger size it occupies more space. In order to reduce the size, Image compression an efficient and advantageous technique is used to remove the redundant data from the image. Thereby the storage space in memory is reduced and also it takes less time to transmit the image. Therefore, development of efficient image compression techniques has become necessary. Internet is an integral part of our daily lives attributable to its increasing usage. During this model, users can impart their information and communicate with others through social communities. The e-healthcare community service considerably resolves the problems of individual patients that are remotely located, have uncomfortable medical conditions, or have caretaker responsibilities which are able to proscribe them from obtaining comfortable medical and emotional support. Participation in online social collaborations might not be straightforward because of cultural and language barriers. This paper proposes a privacy-preserving cooperative e-healthcare system that divides patients or caretakers into totally different groups. This technique permits patients or caretakers to talk with different patients with similar issues, perceive their feelings, and share several problems with their own. However throughout this method, personal and sensitive information can not be disclosed to anyone at any purpose of your time. The suggested model uses a special technique, called minmax whale optimization to cluster e-profiles based on their similarities. Finally, clustered profiles are encrypted by exploiting distributed hashing technique to preserve patients’ personal info. The results of planned framework are compared with famous privacy-preserving algorithms of clustering by using accepted similarity measures. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Large volumes of data are being generated each day in healthcare. In addition, these huge amounts of data from healthcare datasets cause the issue of proper knowledge discovery. Currently, data integration is an approach, which is increasingly utilized by healthcare data specialists for analyzing the information and data mining. "Which features or attributes should we use to integrate data for data warehouses"-is a difficult question to answer. It requires deep knowledge of the problem domain. Automatic feature selection is the process of selecting a subset of relevant features automatically for later use. In this paper, we proposed a method using four random forest based feature selection algorithm and domain knowledge. India has a race privilege of having all varieties of natural Skills in the world. In such a demand, evolving new silkworm breeds specific to Resistance, Fecundity, Thermo tolerance and Silk productivity are always on demand. The conventional methods of silkworm breed Development is obsolete and the gene based scientific strategies are always on demand in screening potential parents for the cause of evolving new, sustainable and promising breeds. Genetic similarities of silkworm though collected from different research centres and Silkworm Germplasm bank cause a major concerns for this process. In view of this, molecular diversity is considered using DNA Barcoding through Co-I gene sequencing, DNA based QR code development and phylogenetic analysis. For this study Twenty nine silkworm races were analyzed. While DNA Barcoding is an effective molecular tool for Silkworm races and parental breeds identification, notwithstanding the advantages in DNA Barcdoing, more specific DNA based QR codes are developed for the genetic identification and screening of silkworm races and parental breeds for the genetic improvement and promising breed development of silkworms. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Design of Photonic Crystal Based Optical Sensor for Analyzing Water Content in Milk 1

In the present paper, we have proposed an ultra-compact and an ultra-fast two dimensional square lattice type photonic crystal based microring resonator (MRR) for biosensing applications which is capable of determining the water content present in a milk sample. The density as well as the refractive index of the milk is changed by changing the water content. The ambient refractive index (RI) of the rod based structure is changed by dipping the structure into different milk samples. The shift in the resonant wavelength of the output light at the through port of the structure is observed for the different milk samples by using the finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulation method. The proposed structure has the sensitivity of 1000 nm/RIU and Quality factor of around 29580. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
