In contemporary improvements remote sensing and GIS technologies offer great tool for mapping and detecting amend in land use/land cover (LULC). LULC is a vital aspect in perceptive the dealings of individual deeds with the environment and thus it is required to replicate alteration. The primary objective was mapping process with classification scheme and procedural steps for interpretation so as to maintain standard operational procedures. As of now satellite hyperspectral image provides information but this is not sufficient to classify the living areas. So, to get the sufficient information about land use data LANDSAT images has been taken. Here Tirupati area is selected to classify, because fast growing city in Andhra Pradesh which is a pilgrim center suited at Rayalaseema region with in Chittoor district. Tirupati is divided in rural and urban area. Here to classify the image Machine learning Algorithms like support vector machine, K-NN algorithms are applied and to know which algorithm is best for classification is compared with accuracy. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

A Security scheme based on Block Cipher is being designed where the Encoding and Decoding be prepared using Modular Adding, Rotational Shift operation and binary XNOR operation. The original message is stream of bits, & be presumed to be isolated into an amount of blocks having s bits in each of the them, where s be power of 3 (e.g. 3, 9, 27, 81, 243). An amount of 0’s be added at the MSB location of the stream for constructing whole numeral of bits odd in every block. For getting the cipher text the entire operation is done in two phases. In the first phase modular adding is done on neighboring blocks taking modulus of adding be 2s. The amount restores the subsequent block, 1st block remnants unmoved. At the time of summing up, carry turned beginning the MSB be rejected. In the next phase left and right bit rotation are applied on the output stream and logical XNOR was executed on the result to get the cipher text. The technique be employed on blocks with changeable dimensions from 3 to 3n. With a broad scope to communicate and control the roadway of interest, the field of VANET is getting more attention among researchers. Owing to the real-time traffic data monitoring requirements, VANET emerged as an ideal network to a great extent. In VANET, the mobility of vehicles and frequent changes in connectivity of moving on-board units (OBU) along with the deployed (Road side Infrastructures) RSU’s necessitated the evolution of several connectivity optimization techniques. In this proposed work, connectivity of network is evaluated using clustering approach and the connectivity probabilities are investigated in both vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) multilane highway. Technology incorporation make things more useful. Integrating technology into bag has changed the bag from being just a luggage carrier to an interactive device. Technology enables us to know the location of the bag, details of the items in the bag etc. It can also be used to provide security to the bag and the items in it. In this paper Electromagnetic Zipping is proposed to provide security to the items in the bag. Electromagnetic zipper consists of a fingerprint sensor which allows only authorized user to open the bag with the help of electromagnets on both the zip slides. A Lithium Polymer battery(LiPo) is used to give power supply to all the components. Different technologies incorporated in bags are studied and an attempt is made to present a smart bag design with all the available technologies along with Electromagnetic Zipper. Charging ports are also present to charge electronic gadgets. Electromagnetic Zipper, Global System for Mobile Communication(GSM), Global Positioning System(GPS), Radio Frequency Identification(RFID), Bluetooth technologies are integrated in this design. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Traffic congestion is one of the most important problems with respect to people daily lives. As a consequence, a lot of environmental and economic problems were emerged. Several works were proposed to participate in problem solving. Traffic signal management introduced a promising solution by minimizing vehicles average travel times and hence decreasing traffic congestion. Studying vehicles’ activities on roads is non-deterministic by nature and contains several continuously changing parameters which makes it hard to find an optimal solution for the mentioned problem. Therefore, optimization techniques were intensively exploited with respect to Traffic Signal Scheduling (TSS) systems. In this work, we propose TSS control methodology based on Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) in order to minimize Average Travel Time (ATT). Experimental results show the superiority of WOA over other related algorithms specially with the case of large-scale benchmarks. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

We show a simplistic approach using simple Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to classify Japanese handwritten digit dataset Kuzushiji-MNIST. We use combinations of loss functions and optimisers on an empirically sound model of Convolutional Neural Netwok (CNN) to come up with a new State-of-the-art accuracy for all Simple CNN approaches on the Kuzushiji-MNIST dataset with accuracy of 96.13 %. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Deep learning is a subset of machine learning, also known as hierarchical learning. It is based on artificial neural network with various stages of representative transforms. Deep neural networks have been applied in different applications like image processing, speech recognition;market-basket analysis and students’ performance prediction to name a few. Now a day’s education is not limited to only the classroom teaching but it goes beyond that like Online Education System, Web-based Education System, Seminars, Workshops, MOOC courses. It’s a big challenge to extract sentiments from the huge data generated which is stored in the environments of Educational databases. Mining on educational databases can be done to extract the hidden sentiments of the students and their views about the education. Analyzing Students’ sentiments and their learning behavior towards the course, difficulties faced, time spent for the course duration in learning the concepts and worries or fears of students like whether they may pass or fail the Final Exam is of prior importance these days in educational institutes. These factors play a dominant role in reforming education. Tweets are gathered from twitter database and found that the obtained are in unstructured form. Preprocessing methods were applied to clean the data set and later classified tweets based on sentiments into classes namely positive, negative and neutral. In this Paper, sentiments of students are analyzed which can be further considered while making reforms in education. In this paper Educational tweets are extracted from Twitter using twitter API and preprocessed. After Preprocessing, clean data is trained and a Model is attained, on this test data is applied. Results are evaluated on few parameters like Balanced accuracy, Sensitivity and Specificity;Prevalence and Detection rate and found that deep learning technique achieves high performance. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
