Internet traffic prediction is required for the allocation of bandwidth dynamically to provide continuous services to the users and to improve the QoS (Quality of Service). Internet traffic prediction makes a significant contribution to network operations and management. The consummation of the network can be further improved by studying the measurements of network traffic and predicting them to take early measures accordingly and to yield the internet traffic to effectively utilize the resources of the network, and to improve the QoS (Quality of Service). In this paper, we applied two machine learning models i.e. Random forest (RF) and eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGB) for SDN traffic prediction and showed that XGB performs better than RF. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Mobile Id approach provides a contactless and secure identification process. Standardization towards a common scheme is important to ensure wide-spread adoption through cross-country and cross-region interoperability. Therefore mobile identification has seen enormous attention both by platform vendors and researchers. In this work we discuss a novel mobile identification approach that is based on oblivious identity to ensure improved privacy protection and identification data at rest protection. The mobile identification approach addresses the development of the interfaces to connect users’ identities to their real-world physical identities by integrating with officially issued eIDs through bridging with eIDAS, STORK, or electronic driving licenses. In particular we present the initial validation for mobile identification of distributed virtual iDP cryptographic infrastructure for mobile ID use cases. The key aim is to show the particular steps needed in order to perform thorough testing in new cryptographic approaches that aim to be applied in real life application through presented first pilots. Evaluating these prototypes and also evaluating them with other stakeholders in order to identify a wider deployment for business development and exploitation. Initial testing and validation results of the proposed mobile identification approach are encouraging and promising showing strong privacy preservation outcomes. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The problem faced by users in cloud computing is energy consumption. Some resources in cloud stay idle for some time. This idleness of resources consume energy thereby causing more consumption of energy. Both the hardware and software reduces the energy consumptions. systems, including AI/IoT, have complex relationships. It is necessary to analyze risks from various perspectives to build a system that can be used safely and securely throughout society, including people and organizations. Object modeling is desirable for risk analysis from multiple viewpoints. An accident model based on system theory called STAMP and its hazard analysis method STPA has attracted attention recently. The basis of this theory is the Control Structure diagram (CS) that captures the entire system. The authors use CS as a structural diagram that captures the requirements of the whole system, including humans and society, and clarifies the relationship by the software lifecycle process standard and the system-life cycle process standard. Therefore, it is proposed to explain the specifications hierarchically for each software, system, service, and stakeholder, and to standardize it for the social layer. In order to model a complex system hierarchically, we propose to model the control structure diagram of STAMP into five layers according to the life cycle of software and system requirements. In addition, we present a case study of safety and security analysis based on the above-mentioned model, considering the case of level 3 autonomous driving. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Image fusion technique is playing important role in image processing. The main objective of image fusion is to integrate the information from several input images into a single image. The consequence of fused image consists of more precise information when compared to any of the input images. Image fusion plays pivotal role in image reconstruction. We have developed novel algorithm and implemented to evaluate quality metrics of fused video frames. This algorithm determines the quality performance between the fused video frame and unprocessed input video frame. The focal point of this paper is evaluating quality of fused video frame using structural similarity index (SSIM) and visual information fidelity (VIF) assessment methods. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Multigrains had been a part of the human diet for tens of thousands of years. Whole grains are associated with various health benefits. Including lower risk of diabetes, heart diseases, and high blood pressure, obesity, CVD, cholesterol. Millets and cereals can provided more nutrients, phytochemicals and antioxidants which should be in demands for maintaining a good health status. The main objective of the study was to develop multigrain flour for multipurpose. The product were developed under laboratory conditions, standard steps was followed to develop the product. Standardization, sensory evaluation, nutrient calculations and self-life testing were done for the developed flour, the results showed that millets multipurpose flour product has a great nutrient composition compare to normal atta. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Objectives The study was focused to prepare gastro retentive in situ rafts a controlled release dosage form of Bosentan monohydrate hydrochloride (BMH) through which the administration by oral route becomes easier and retain the drug more time in the stomach, at its absorption window. Materials and Methods Nine (F1–F9) gastro retentive in situ rafts of BMH were formulated using 32 factorial design by taking ratio of polymers, sodium alginate and pectin (X1) and quantity of effervescent (X2) as two variables at 3 levels and characterized to find out the influence of two variables on Gel strength (Y1), Floating time (Y2), Floating lag time (Y3), in vitro drug release (Y4), Viscosity, Gelling time and Drug content. Then, the results of all responses (Y1–Y4) were fit into mathematical model as per the design. Results Release kinetic studies revealed that, F6 formulation shown first order release as the best fit model. Polymers sodium alginate and pectin were found to possess good compatibility with BMH without any mutual interaction as per DSC and FTIR spectra. The best selected formulation F6 has shown in vitro sustained drug release up to 12 h which was also confirmed by in vivo X-ray image studies in rabbits. Conclusion The best selected formulation F6 was found to process in vitro extended release up to 12 h which was also confirmed by in vivo X-ray image studies in rabbits. The stability studies, revealed that, there was no noticeable variation in drug content, floating ability during stability studies. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Programs Features Clustering to Find Optimization Sequence Using Genetic Algorithm 1

Finding the best optimization sequence order that can improve the performance for even a simple program is not an easy task. However, the modern compilers provide dozens of optimizations, making it not a practical solution to try all the optimization sequences manually to find the optimal one. In this paper, genetic algorithm is proposed to select the best optimization sequence for a cluster of similar programs. However, wide set of programs are elected to cover as much as possible all the features. The set of the programs are classified into three clusters depending on them features. Thus, the genetic algorithm in this work is learning method. This means any new program, unseen program, can take the optimization sequence of the cluster that has similar features to it. Moreover, two scenarios are proposed using genetic algorithm to find the best optimization sequence for each cluster. In the first scenario, programs are classified into three clusters according to program dynamic features. The genetic algorithm with Tournament selection method is applied on each cluster independently to obtain a good optimization sequence for a cluster. Moreover, the proposed method improved the execution time on average by 77% compared with the O2. The second scenario was exactly similar to the first one. While, different selection methods are used for each cluster. The improved average execution time for this scenario was 78% compared with the O2. LLVM framework is used to validate and execute the proposed method. In addition, Bolybench, Standerford, Shootout benchmarks are used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Frequent itemset mining is playing an important research role for many aspirants all over the world. In all the research aspects efficiency and scalability are main retrospects which are being improved in FIM which is intensive. In the current scenario, the implementation of a sequential growth algorithm on the big data map reduce framework the lexicographic sequential tree construction for the identification of the frequent itemsets using the lexicographical order over the databases of transaction without incorporating any extreme search methodologies. The result signifies a wide variety of large database executions to prove the execution of this methodology as an efficient and improved scalability of the methodology.
