Research data management (RDM) practices are critical for ensuring research success. Data can assume diverse formats and data in image format have been understudied in RDM. To understand image management habits in research, we have conducted semi-structured interviews with researchers from four research domains. Most researchers do not formally manage their images, nor do they develop RDM plans. They assume that image management is not a topic discussed at project meetings. In turn, they tend to perform some individual practices, depending on the context and their own opinion, such as creating captions to describe the images and organizing and storing the images in specific locations. However, they see these habits as necessary and admit that they will start to do so in a formal and collaborative way with the working group. These results provide valuable information on practical aspects of the use and production of images in research.

With the more-widespread availability and cost effectiveness of advanced computer vision technologies, first attempts have recently been made for applying augmented reality in enterprise modeling. Despite these first steps, a systematic analysis of the potential opportunities of this technology for enterprise modeling has so far not been conducted. Therefore, we describe in this paper the results of a morphological analysis that has been performed in a series of expert workshops for deriving according use cases. Based on the technological dimensions of augmented reality and the traditional dimensions of enterprise modeling, we show the potential of this combination by means of three selected use cases.

In this work, we present CCTV-Exposure - the first CCTV-aware solution to evaluate potential privacy exposure to closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras. The objective was to develop a toolset for quantifying human exposure to CCTV cameras from a privacy perspective. Our novel approach is trajectory analysis of the individuals, coupled with a database of geo-location mapped CCTV cameras annotated with minimal yet sufficient meta-information. For this purpose, CCTV-Exposure model based on a Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking was applied to estimate individual privacy exposure in different scenarios. The current investigation provides an application example and validation of the modeling approach. The methodology and toolset developed and implemented in this work provide time-sequence and location-sequence of the exposure events, thus making possible association of the exposure with the individual activities and cameras, and delivers main statistics on individual's exposure to CCTV cameras with high spatio-temporal resolution.

Context and motivation: Infographics are an engaging medium for communication. Sometimes, organisations create several infographics with the same graphic design and different data;e.g., when reporting on impact measurement. Question/problem: The conventional process to produce such recurrent data-centric infographics causes rework related to the disconnection between software environments. Principal ideas/results: This paper redesigns the process following the model-driven engineering paradigm. We present a domain-specific language to model infographics, and an interpreter that generates the infographics automatically. We have been able to model and generate infographics that report impact measurement results, which the participants of a comparative experiment have found as attractive as the original ones, and that are hard, but not impossible, to distinguish from them. Contribution: An innovative model-driven approach that eliminates the software environment disconnection and could facilitate the use of data-centric infographics for reporting purposes.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we begin to accept this unusual time of living as the "new normal". Under unprecedented circumstances and stressors, the effects of COVID-19 may have not only shifted our ways of living but may also have had a noticeable impact on human behavior and emotions online. This study aims to investigate changes in critics' rating behavior due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Using Rotten Tomatoes, which is one of the most trusted movie critic websites, we analyzed 44,459 critic reviews to discover the changes in movie critic opinions from before to after the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak. To capture the changes in reviews of movie critics, we analyzed the effects of COVID-19 on critic movie ratings and sentiments. This research finds that whileCOVID-19 is perceived to have negatively affected all our lives, critic movie ratings during the COVID-19 pandemic are slightly more positive than before the pandemic. Moreover, in analyzing movie critic reviews, there is no significant impact of COVID-19 on the change in the sentiment of movie critics. This research enlightens online movie platforms of the rating behavioral changes of movie critics before and during the pandemic.

This study examines the influence of augmented reality on consumer behaviour in online retailing based on the stimulus-organism-response model. In this context, the affective and cognitive response, and the effect on purchasing behaviour are investigated in more detail. For this purpose, a quantitative study was carried out and analysed using structural equation modelling. The results show a positive influence of the perceived augmentation both on emotions during the use of AR and on the perceived amount of information. The attitude towards the use of AR has the greatest impact on purchasing behaviour, followed by the perceived amount of information. In addition, emotions indirectly effect the purchasing behaviour through its attitude as a mediator.

The BPMN 2.0 for modeling collaborative business processes is already a decade old, and it has gained considerable attention from researchers and practitioners with respect to its benefits and drawbacks. The impossibility of modeling data flows properly (input and output data combinations of activities shown only as comments and data associations used instead of data flows) as well as problems with reflecting activities which are executed by several actors, are among the often-mentioned limitations of the BPMN 2.0. Some business process modeling languages and tools that existed before the BPMN, however, did provide solutions to the above-mentioned limitations. It might be beneficial to consider these solutions in the development of the next versions or dedicated extensions of the BPMN.

The software startup research area has grown rapidly in the recent years. It is widely known that building software startups are challenging endeavors, and the failure rate is high. However, the fascinating phenomenon keeps getting interest from academics to address those challenges, due to the potential of software startups as an effective way for disruptive innovation. The aim of this study is to provide an update on the evolution of the software startup research area through a systematic mapping study. Our contributions are two-fold. First, we provide a mapping of current research in software startups in terms of contributing disciplines and research methods and theories used. The second contribution is the identification of two new and emerging research streams termed Software Startup Education and Ethics in Software Startups. Furthermore, the findings allow us to update the research agenda and provide new examples of research questions to advance the software startup research area.

Digital twins are becoming established tools for physical devices and systems. Their success has raised the promise and the "grand challenge" of digital twins of organizations. To the extent that organizations include networks of interdependent processes, human agency and conflict, and learning, we argue that building valid, reliable digital twins of organizations involves substantial challenges that might require new methods and new science as compared to current models of business processes. For instance, we need a richer, more complete vocabulary to describe interdependence and regulatory mechanisms that managers can use to design and intervene in networks of interdependent processes. Models from biological sciences might provide fruitful inspiration, given that regulatory networks play important roles in biological systems. If we are serious about digital twins of organizations, we need to push the boundaries of process methods and process science.

The market launch and regulative assessment of ICT-based medical devices in Europe is very complex due to a multitude of regulations to be considered during requirements engineering and product management. Additionally, there are no established standards, best practices or support tools how to launch medical devices on the market. The paper is part of a project aiming for methodical support for medical device launch and assessment, and is dedicated to investigating problem relevance. To understand the processes and requirements three case studies were analysed and the necessary processes and requirements were matched towards enterprise architectures (EA). Based on this finding, we argue that EA could be a suitable way to visualize and recommend required processes and structures for medical device management. The main contributions of our work are (a) a literature analysis of EA use in health care and especially for telemedicine, (b) results from use case analysis investigating the business perspective from inside three health tech companies and (c) the analysis of problems of telemedicine integration into EA.
