A digital twin is a virtual representation of real-world entities and processes, synchronized at a specified frequency and fidelity. The capability of digital twins is continually evolving from simple decision support, via decision augmentation for end users to autonomous decision automation. This evolution is enabled by increasingly sophisticated technologies used by digital twins, e.g. advanced analytics, IoT and AI. In many applications, multiple digital twins can be used to address different system functionality, and composed as required, leading to potentially quite complex technical systems. Digital twins further increasingly require explicit consideration of socio-economic factors, to ensure building responsible digital twin solutions, minimizing potential harm for the users. This paper discusses how such socio-economic factors, particularly the enterprise, legal and ethics policies and various value constraints, can be gradually transformed into a set of governance rules for building, operating and evolving responsible digital twin solutions and ecosystems. These policies include voluntary type of rules, e.g. digital ethics norms, as well as regulatory policies, which impose formal legal obligations, e.g. legislative and regulatory mechanisms. We use two application domains at two ends of the complexity spectrum, namely personalized health care and renewable energy, to illustrate our approach.

In the context of Live streaming eCommerce, false publicity problems occur frequently. However, in the face of merchant fraud, some consumers will choose to forgive the merchant. The underlying mechanisms that generate this forgiving behavior when the content of the live broadcast does not match the actual product have not been fully explored. The focus of this study is on informational content inconsistency in Live streaming eCommerce context-product attributes content inconsistency and price promotion content inconsistency. Based on the Rational Behavior Theory (TRA) model, we propose a conceptual framework to understand whether, how, and when live broadcast content inconsistency affects consumer forgiveness behavior. Among them, the higher the degree of inconsistency of live broadcast content, the less forgiving consumers will be, and this effect is realized through the chain mediation of satisfaction and tolerance. In addition, these effects vary by product type. We discuss the theoretical and practical implications of these findings and identify several aspects for future research.

Many software professionals think about business Process Modeling (BPM) as a way of representing all of the steps and details of a daily work execution. BPM is nevertheless also devoted to defining the broad outlines of a particular process and how internal improvements (like automation or worker support) can align with an organization's business strategy. business processes in their aggregated form (i.e. one entire business process represented by one black box element) do provide information on their scope (so can be seen as a tactical-level source of information) and, if mixed in a common representation with business objectives and goals, we can trace the impact of their execution, reengineering or IT-support on the strategy. Most of the work on the ability of novice modelers to represent a business process has focused on the operational perspective rather than the latter tactical and strategic ones. Evaluating the quality of higher level representations is also, to a large extend, an open issue. This paper aims to overview the performance of novice modelers when representing such tacticallevel elements and tracing their strategic impact through a quasi-experiment. More specifically, subjects are given a complex case and have to draw a business Use-Case Diagram which is a representation combining all of these elements. Results show that: (1) the proposed quality assessment is suitable when compared to a domain and modeling expert's solution;(2) the cognitive style of modelers has no impact on the quality of the representations they produce.

Under the background of new liberal arts, the major of management is facing the urgent needs of educational reform and innovation of talent cultivation mode. This paper proposes and discusses the reform and practice of "Embedding-Integration" collaborative nurturing mechanism in the major of management. In the teaching ecology, through the establishment of the three-dimensional embedding concept of "object-tool-activity", we promote the integration and cultivation of students' abilities in five aspects, namely, thinking, curriculum, teaching, and practice and scene, and realize the collaborative cultivation of students' personalized cultivation of the new liberal arts cultivation model. Through the top-level design of teaching programs and models, the development of interdisciplinary knowledge-embedded curricula, the optimization and design of integrated scenarios and practical teaching systems, and the "embedded-integrated" personalized collaborative cultivation, we promote the construction of a new liberal arts major in government, industry, and academia and research for the majors of management sciences. Based on inter-disciplinary cultivation, the integration cultivation idea of "strong foundation, broad vision, and application" has outstanding value for education reform, which can promote the reform of talent cultivation mode of economics and management majors under the background of new liberal arts, provide reform ideas and practical paths for the construction of new liberal arts in other social sciences and liberal arts majors.

Organizations must gain insights into often fragmented and isolated data assets and overcome data silos to profitably leverage data as a strategic resource. Data catalogs are an increasingly popular approach to achieving these objectives. Despite the perceived importance of data catalogs in practice, relatively little research exists on how to design corporate data catalogs. It is also obvious that the existing market solutions have to be customized to the specific organizational needs. This paper presents a list of functional requirements for enterprise data catalogs extracted from a systematic literature review. The requirements can be used to frame and guide more specific research on data catalogs as well as for system selection and customization in practice.

Online behavioral advertising is a product of the combination of Internet advertising and big data technology, which has become the main means of advertising and marketing nowadays with its unique advantages such as accurate targeting, but at the same time, it has also triggered people's concern about information privacy and security. In order to study the influence mechanism of users' privacy concern level on the acceptance of online behavioral advertisements, this study collects data through questionnaire survey method, empirically analyzes and explores the causal complexity of the influence mechanism of privacy concern and advertisement acceptance by using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and fsQCA methods. mechanism. The results of the study show that: (1) privacy concern has a direct positive effect on perceived risk;perceived risk, perceived gain and perceived ad usefulness jointly act on user attitudes to influence online behavioral ad acceptance, in which perceived gain plays a partially intermediary role;Subjective norms directly influence perceived usefulness;privacy invasion experience plays a moderating role between perceived usefulness and behavioral willingness;(2) the driving paths of ad acceptance can be classified into comprehensive-driven, revenue-driven, and effect-driven. The findings of the study help e-commerce enterprises and platforms to rationally optimize their advertising strategies, and provide theoretical and practical insights into how to effectively improve users' attitudes and willingness to use online behavioral advertisements.

Enterprise modelling (EM) refers to eliciting and documenting knowledge about an organisation from several interrelated perspectives. Often EM is industrially applied and scientifically researched within the fields of enterprise and information systems (IS) engineering. In this paper, we put forward that EM constitutes a sound and valid research method that could be used outside these disciplines. Its systematic elicitation and modelling techniques lend themselves to rigorous empirical investigations. We report on our experience in applying an EM method as a research method in a project exploring the relationships between sustainability reporting and strategic management practices. The results were rich in high-quality, detailed research data, that allowed drawing strong evidence-based conclusions. If EM were known in other scientific fields interested in phenomena taking place inside or around enterprises, these research communities would benefit from a structured and rigorous approach to investigate aspects related to the organisational structure, processes, communications and information, motivations, and relationships among these, which are core constructs in EM methods.

Automatic text classification is an important area of study in natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning. Text classification has become essential for businesses and organizations to handle incoming documents effectively and efficiently. The main objective of this study is to introduce and evaluate a selection of Free Open Source Software approaches for document classification and compare them against each other regarding their prediction performance and efficiency to identify the best candidate for a specific use case. The popularity of microservices has increased over the past decade due to their potential benefits for distributed enterprise applications. Developing and maintaining a microservices architecture (MSA) is challenging, amongst others because the size (granularity) of the microservices has an impact on most system properties, such as, e.g., maintainability, performance, and scalability. Currently, architects determine the granularity of the microservices by identifying bounded contexts or business capabilities, which is mainly based on their experience. This paper presents a quantitative assessment method to evaluate the granularity of the microservices for improved system maintainability. The method is based on a set of metrics that are relevant for maintainability, namely change coupling, structural coupling, weighted service interface count, lines of code, service interface data cohesion, and change frequency. By evaluating these metrics, focusing on coupling, cohesion, and size, the method can assess refactors of an architecture in which microservices are merged or decomposed. We validated our method with three open source microservice-based projects with different sizes and structures. Our method can substantiate the design decisions concerning the granularity of microservices, identifying services that are candidates for merging and decomposition towards maintainability evolution, with clear benefits particularly for enterprise applications.
