The selection of a technological packages for agriculture is a complex task. Since selecting the best suited for a particular farm, given the rapid development of technology and the many combinations available, is a difficult problem for the decision maker (DM). This paper deals the selection problem of technological packages identifying criteria and alternatives in a group decision making process. The proposed model presents a multicriteria group decision model for ranking technology packages based on the outranking methods. This model is appropriate for those cases where there is great divergence among the DMs. The methodology can be used for defining rural credits (for adapted technological packages) in order to improve farmer's competitiveness and profitability.

The increasing digitalization of business and society leads to drastic changes within companies. Nearly all enterprises have to face enormous challenges when dealing with topics such as Industry 4.0/Industrial Internet. One of these challenges represents the realistic classification of the company's own IT infrastructure. In this paper we present a maturity model (SIMMI 4.0-System Integration Maturity Model Industry 4.0) that enables a company to classify its IT system landscape with focus on Industry 4.0 requirements. SIMMI 4.0 consists of 5 stages. Each describes several characteristics of digitization, which allows a company to assess itself. Additionally, recommended activities are presented for each stage of digitization, which can enable a company to reach the next stage of maturity. Due to the large number of possible characteristics concerning Industry 4.0 and digitization, we also present several possible topics for future research to improve and refine the developed maturity model.

In recent years, an important marketing trend has been developed where consumer-firm collaboration and interaction take place. Today, the value co-creation strategy is a new way that companies adopt to create value with consumers and for both of them. In areas including innovation and new product/service development, the value co-creation remains the most appealing concept which allows the company to effectively allocate its resources in line with consumers' needs and preferences. The co-creation revolution was widely supported by the development of information and communication technologies and the web 2.0 techniques which changed consumers' role into an active partner. However, we need to know: why do consumers engage in new product development (here, olive oil packaging) through virtual interface? Based on a profound literature review related to consumer engagement in value co-creation experiences and in online environments, we arrived finally at a clear definition of consumer engagement concept that fits the context of our research. An exploratory study, employing three focus groups, was then conducted in order to explore the key factors that influence consumer engagement decision in online olive oil packaging design through a virtual co-design interface. The main findings highlight the importance of consumer intrinsic and extrinsic motivations, his innovativeness, his product involvement and his perception of the co-design platform inter-activity and usability of the co-design interface as the main factors that influence consumer's engagement in the virtual co-design experience. From the exploratory study's findings, we develop a research model that addresses the antecedents of consumer engagement construct.

Recommender systems are in widespread use in many areas, the most prominent being e-commerce solutions. In this contribution, we apply recommender functionalities to business process modelling (BPM) and investigate their potential to improve process modelling. To do so, we have implemented two prototypes. With the help of the prototype systems that have been demonstrated to and used by participants at a fair, we have conducted a first evaluation from potential users. Our results indicate that increased modelling speed is the most prominent advantage according to the participants' expectation and that recommender functionalities should be complemented by collaboration features.

Suzuki and Horita [11] proposed the notion of convergence as a new solution for the procedural choice problem. Given a menu of feasible social choice rules (SCRs) F and a set of options X, a preference profile L-0 is said to (weakly) converge to C subset of X if every rule to choose the rule (or every rule to choose the rule to choose the rule, and so on) ultimately designates C under a consequential sequence of meta-preference profiles. Although its frequency is shown, for example, under a large society with F = {plurality, Borda, anti-plurality}, a certain failure (trivial deadlock) occurs with small probability. The objective of this article is to find a convergent menu (a menu that can "always" derive the convergence). The results show that (1) several menus of well-known SCRs, such as {Borda, Hare, Black}, are convergent and that (2) the menu {plurality, Borda, anti-plurality} and a certain class of scoring menus can be expanded so that they become convergent.

This paper presents a multi-perspective evaluation framework for assessing the expressiveness of current widely used business process modeling formalisms, in order to select the most suitable for representing sensitive business processes (SBPs) to improve the identification of crucial knowledge that is mobilized by these processes. Aiming at SBPs, a specific framework that helped previously to build a business process meta-model for knowledge identification is applied in a systematic manner in order to evaluate a number of currently available BPM formalisms under six perspectives, namely functional, organizational, behavioral, informational, intentional and knowledge perspectives. Furthermore, the result of the evaluation led us to justify the choice of the better one positioned nowadays, the standard BPMN 2.0. Besides, we have illustrated the practical applicability of this notation on a medical process in the context of the organization of protection of the motor disabled people of Sfax-Tunisia.

In group decision-making, the use of Group Decision Support Systems is increasing and in some groups, a facilitator is required to improve communication among participants. The facilitator has several roles in this situation, which include helping decision makers (DMs) to decide which type of aggregation they would prefer in each decision context. Whenever DMs have different objectives regarding the same problem, they might decide a consensual decision is no longer possible. Therefore, other types of aggregation are required. Voting rules are strongly applied in this type of situation. However, the question that arises is: who should decide the voting method? In this article, a framework for choice of a voting procedure in a business decision context is used. It takes the facilitator's preferences into account while it seeks to choose which voting procedure best suits the environment of the Group Decision Support System GRoUp Support (GRUS).

In recent years, microservice architectures have emerged as an agile approach for scalable web applications on cloud environments. As each microservice is developed and deployed independently, they can be developed in the platform and programming language that best suite their purposes, using a simple communication protocol, as REST APIs or asynchronous event-based collaborations, to compose them. In this paper, we argue that process engines provide an excellent platform to develop microservices whose business logic involves complex work flows or processes so that a business Process language can be used as highlevel language to develop these services and a process engine to execute it. We identify the requirements for integrating a process engine in a microservice architecture and we propose how the communication and deployment in a microservice architecture can be handled by the process engine.

Modeling business processes has become standard among companies to efficiently organize their business operations. Case Management approaches have been proposed to overcome the limited flexibility of traditional business process languages as BPMN when it comes to supporting knowledge-intensive processes. One of such approaches is Chimera, in which business scenarios are captured by a set of process fragments, a domain model, and object lifecycles. When modeling the real-world ITIL incident handling process, we observed that although Chimera is in general well-suited to capture this process, it misses the functionality to restore states of data objects. Such functionality is useful to undo errors of the case manager during process execution or to perform planned rollbacks. Therefore, we extend Chimera with state variables that memorize previous data states, making it possible to restore those states in the further course of the case. Our extension is validated using the real-world incident handling process.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have transformed the way of doing business in the modern environment. More specifically, they integrate all functions of an enterprise, allowing seamless information dissemination and facilitating the decision-making process. However, the implementation of ERP systems is not always a prerequisite of operational and business success. On the contrary, companies should thoroughly investigate the critical factors that have an impact on the implementation process. Under this context, the present study aims at developing and testing a three-dimensional conceptual framework, that investigates the antecedents of "ERP implementation success", as well as the impact of the implementation itself on "organizational performance". The proposed conceptual framework was tested, using a newly-developed structured questionnaire, in a sample of 204 Greek companies that have already implemented an ERP system. Results indicate that "end-users" constitute the most significant actor for ensuring ERP implementation success. Another important empirical finding is that, among the three dimensions used to measure "ERP implementation success" (information quality, system quality, service quality), "information quality" has the strongest impact on all the dimensions of "organizational performance" (internal efficiency, competitiveness, profitability).
