Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in the cloud are nowadays offered with different service models and deployment options. Depending on these models and options, the degree of flexibility varies as to what the customer gets with regard to customization requirements. Based on an empirical study of cloud ERP systems on the market, the paper focuses on the customization approaches applied by the vendors and the resulting degree of flexibility for adapting specific system elements. Our research shows that different customization options, beyond parameter-based configuration, are usually incorporated into the vendors' customization strategies. The flexibility depends to a large extent on the maturity of the system, i. e., is it a cloud-native or a cloud-enabled solution.

Since 2012, a new automatic traffic enforcement camera project has been in operation in Israel. Several databases are included in this project, i.e. sensor data, traffic reports, and road accident records. In 2014 a business intelligence system was developed to obtain all the data from the sensors of the new project and to merge them with the existing data to run the project effectively and efficiently. The aim of this paper is to present the process and the configuration of the business intelligence system, and to present the improvements in all measurements. In this paper we demonstrate the importance of a business intelligence system for operating, engineering, researching and managing aspects of a project.

business processes usually have a group of organizational stakeholders with contrasting concerns. Considering the multitude of concerns around a given process, different modeling teams tend to obtain distinct diagrams when engaging in business process design. Since managing multiple diagrams of the same business process poses challenges to organizations, we propose the use of an incremental approach to consolidate diverse process diagrams into a single model. This approach consists in using a repository, which contains a taxonomy and a set of dimensions, to support the proposed view integration method. As an outcome of adopting our method, we expect a decrease in the complexity of managing business processes, by providing the organizations with a systematic way for the stakeholders to represent and consolidate their concerns.

Creation of model which supports Social media hiring. Analysis based on analysing existing frames for employees hiring with help of social media. Finding a gap and fill it with own model is key for this method. For creation of own model for social media hiring has been used application which extracted user data from Facebook. As predictors for users' behaviour on the social media networks have been used personality test MBTI. With the help of Cluster Analysis and machine learning (decision trees) have been created a Stochastic predictive model, that determine a personality type. The Sample of N = 960 Facebook users, that joined hiring app follows that users on the social media network such as Facebook share a lot of useful information for hiring. Verification of this model on the test sample confirmed correctness of prediction personalities category MBTI in a range of 68% to 84% and by individual cases with confidentiality in a range of 43% to 81%. Model for social media hiring contains a guide/manual for automatic data mining of users, particularly from social media network Facebook. It also contains a suggestion how to analyse mined data.

The importance of personalized recommender systems has recently increased and its role in providing better experiences to different users has been demonstrated. The quality of the recommendation can be guaranteed based on the help of user interpersonal interests in a social network. information obtained about users and their friends makes it unnecessary to look for similar users and to measure their rating similarity. In our work, we have developed a trusted friend's calculation method for determining social trusted friends by analyzing user's profile on Facebook. We have also represented the user's model as an ontology that takes into consideration all trusted friends' preferences and the degree of trust between friends. Afterwards, we have used this ontology in a semantic tourism recommender system as an e-tourism tool able to recommend items based on the users' preferences and their trusted friends' preferences.

Despite the profusion of approaches that were proposed to deal with the problem of the Automatic Schema Matching, yet the challenges and difficulties caused by the complexity and uncertainty characterizing both the process and the outcome of Schema Matching motivated us to investigate how bio-inspired emerging paradigm can help with understanding, managing, and ultimately overcoming those challenges. In this paper, we explain how we approached Schema Matching as a Complex Adaptive System (CAS) and how we modeled it using the approach of Agent-Based Modeling and Simulation (ABMS) giving birth to a new tool (prototype) for schema matching called Reflex-SMAS. This prototype was submitted to a set of experiments which aimed to demonstrate the viability of our approach to two main aspects: (i) effectiveness (increasing the quality of the found matchings) and (ii) efficiency (reducing the effort required for this efficiency). The results, came to demonstrate the viability of our approach, both in terms of effectiveness or that of efficiency.

Blockchain technology is expected to revolutionize the way transactions are performed, thereby affecting a vast variety of potential areas of application. While expectations are high, real world impact and benefit are still unclear. To be able to assess its impact, the first structured literature review of peer-reviewed articles is conducted. As blockchain technology is centered around a peer-to-peer network, enabling collaboration between different parties, the service system is chosen as unit analysis to examine its potential contribution. We have identified a set of characteristics that enable trust and decentralization, facilitating the formation and coordination of a service system.

E-learning technologies represent important instruments for teaching. New technologies play a big role in the financial education of citizens and employees' training activities. In recent years in the banking sector digital tools for education programmes are available in growing numbers and play a significant role. In fact, after the financial crisis, many banks have offered not only online training to their employees but also to their clients, both real and potential. The objective of this approach is to help banks' customers to understand some fundamental financial concepts and the risks of some financial operations. Given this framework, the aim of this paper is to provide an exploratory research of the online training courses and initiatives developed by the banking sector institutions and addressed to both their employees and their real and potential clients. The paper provides a preliminary analysis of the programmes based on the experience of an Italian bank.

An important aspect of participatory enterprise modeling is the work in a group. However, does the collaboration of the group members change depending on which medium is used to generate the models? Are there for example differences in the group's behavior when working with a plastic wall, similar to a whiteboard, or with a multi-touch table? Based on the state of research and theoretical foundations of group work as well as previous research, relevant research issues are raised and an experimental design will be described in order to examine possible differences in the group work depending on the medium. Relevant aspects will be forms of cooperation, i.e. verbal and non-verbal contributions of the participants, but also territorial behavior and group performance.

business Process Modeling (BPM) is the cornerstone of the business Process Management field, which has become a crucial topic in the competitiveness of enterprise information systems. The importance of BPM to business Process Management can be justified by the serious problems, which may arise in the latter, if the former is not conducted correctly. This can take place, inter alia, when an inappropriate choice of a BPM formalism for a given BPM context has been made. Such an improper choice is due not only to the availability of a huge number of BPM formalisms but also to the lack of guidelines assisting in the selection process. Our aim in this paper, is to propose a context-aware roadmap with associated methodological guidelines underpinning the selection of the appropriate BPM formalism. To this end, a systematic literature review (SLR) of studies on BPM formalisms quality has been undertaken. The contribution of this paper is threefold viz. the SLR itself, a context-aware roadmap, along with a context model inspired by the Zachman framework, and is a first step towards a decision support system for selecting the appropriate BPM formalism.
