People are using Social Network Services (SNSs) more and more in today's digital and mobile world to communicate with the outside world rather than going face-to-face with it. While providing the convenience of connectivity, SNS use has a profound impact on psychological well-being. Prior research on the effects of SNSs on psychological well-being has not yet produced resounding findings. Focusing on one aspect of psychological well-being, loneliness, this study hypothesizes and compares three mediating mechanisms of SNS use on loneliness (i.e., offline social support, online social capital, and meaning in life) among different types and between elderly and young adults. A sample of 207 elderly and 310 young adults was collected to validate the hypotheses. The elderly group comprises 94.7% of the respondents who are older than 50. Of the respondents in the sample of young adults, 97.1% are between the ages of 20 and 35, and all of them are single and reside in a city other than their hometown. The result of PLS-SEM analysis shows no direct effect of SNS use on loneliness. The mediating effects vary between elderly and urban solitary youth, as well as among types of SNS. Elderly people place a high value on seeking offline social support and meaning in life, which helps them alleviate loneliness, while young adults prioritize expanding online social capital which exacerbates their loneliness. This study contributes theoretically to social network theories and developmental psychology, as well as practical implications for SNS design.

The digital transformation of education has become a common goal in educational reforms worldwide. The ultimate purpose of educational digitization is to promote human development. However, this process is hindered by technological traps, and calls for corresponding governance strategies. This paper tries to establish a simple model incorporating the traps and governance strategies by investigating the case of a university F. The findings show that technologies traps mainly consist of technological biases, a detachment from digital competency, and an inclination towards "entertainment". In order to overcome these traps and enhance the efficacy of digital transformation in education, it is imperative to integrate rational tools and values, empower teachers with digital skills, and create new educational forms.

Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior, this study constructed a multiple mediation model of empowering leadership affecting employees' deviant innovation behavior. The analysis results show that the higher the level of empowering leadership, the more likely employees are to have deviant innovation behavior. Psychological security, organizational innovation climate and creative self-efficacy play a significant mediating role in the process of empowering leadership to stimulate employees' deviant innovation behavior. The results of this study provide new theoretical support for the subsequent research on deviant innovation behavior, and provide decision-making basis for enterprise managers to promote employees' deviant innovation behavior and improve enterprise innovation performance.

In recent years, live streaming of agricultural products has gradually become an essential driving force to promote the development of the rural economy in China. Although live streaming of agricultural products has become a research hotspot, there is a lack of a critical review to understand research status and trends on this research topic. Following PRISMA, we search literature on live streaming of agricultural products though Web of Science database and CNKI database. Then, we use CiteSpace software to conduct an overall analysis of current research. Further, we analyze all the empirical studies, and summarized key mechanisms affecting the purchase of agricultural products through live streaming. Both theoretical and empirical contribution are discussed.

Digital Transformation (DT) strives to alter an entity by substantially changing its characteristics facilitated by integrating digital technologies. Albeit numerous barriers hinder the realization of its potential. Barriers are subject to scientific research. Generally, scientific works result in research streams. The existing literature already examines the DT streams. Although these works make an essential contribution, they cannot sufficiently explore the field of barriers. Keeping track of the concepts and themes in a growing research field is challenging. Therefore, the aims of this mapping study are (1) to show which domain-specific research streams are explicitly dealing with the DT barriers, (2) to highlight which topics research currently addresses, and (3) which topics should be investigated in the future. Combining elements of a bibliometric analysis with a systematic literature review, we mapped nine different streams based on 203 publications. The results indicate that much research focuses on industrial companies or sectors but needs an overarching perspective. Also, many studies are only concerned with identifying the barriers, while systematic approaches to overcoming them still need to be developed.

We study conformance checking for timed models, that is, process models that consider both the sequence of events that occur, as well as the timestamps at which each event is recorded. Time-aware process mining is a growing subfield of research, and as tools that seek to discover timing-related properties in processes develop, so does the need for conformance-checking techniques that can tackle time constraints and provide insightful quality measures for time-aware process models. One of the most useful conformance artefacts is the alignment, that is, finding the minimal changes necessary to correct a new observation to conform to a process model. In this paper, we solve the timed alignment problem where the metrics used to compare timed processes allow weighted mixed moves, i.e. an error on the timestamp of an event may or may not propagate to its successors, and we provide linear time algorithms for a large class of such weighted mixed distances, both for distance computation and alignment on models with sequential causal processes.

In the context of online healthcare community, signaling theory has been widely applied in literature to overcome information asymmetry and reduce uncertainty. Especially in evaluating various information signals, the aim is to convey the quality of healthcare service and influence patient's decision-making. However, the existing literature on signals in online healthcare communities is facing certain challenges. The range of various studies involves the interaction between different signals and patient's decision-making. The classification of these signals is arbitrary, fragmented, and has not formed a common concept. This situationmay affect the further development of the field. In order to establish a common foundation for scholars, we conducted a systematic literature review and summarized 63 articles in online healthcare signaling, providing a more comprehensive framework. This helps to establish an evidence-based knowledge system on the impact of online healthcare signals on patient's decision-making. This framework also clarifies signal construct, exploring its boundary, signals relationship, and mechanism. Finally, we identify gaps in existing literature and provide valuable suggestions for future research direction.

This study examines the effects of AI transparency in AI-human task delegation. According to the principal-agent theory (PAT), increasing transparency can help address the problem of hidden action. Through a between-subjects experiment with three conditions (AI advantage information, AI function information, vs. no information), we explore the impact of AI transparency on human task performance and consider the mediating effect of human epistemic uncertainty and AI trust. Results show that AI function information enhances accuracy, while AI advantage information encourages more task completion. Epistemic uncertainty fully mediates the relationship between transparency and task performance (both accuracy and image number), while AI trust only mediates the effect on image number. The results have implications for the future work of the design of AI transparency in human-AI collaboration.

Online medical communities often rely on paid online consultations to encourage physicians to provide higher-quality medical expertise, fostering the community's sustainable development. However, the impact of this monetary incentive on physicians' contributions of free knowledge remains uncertain. To address this question, we empirically examine how the introduction of monetary incentives within a healthcare community influences physicians' voluntary knowledge contributions through a natural experiment. Combining propensity score matching with staggered difference-in-differences estimation methods, we find that monetary incentives have a positive and short-term effect on the quantity and quality of physicians' unpaid online contributions. Moreover, our analysis reveals that this positive impact is more pronounced and enduring among physicians in departments which are less suitable for online consultations. Concerning physician titles, the positive spillover effect is more significant for associate and junior physicians compared to chief physicians. In conclusion, our study suggests that monetary incentives are effective in stimulating physicians' free knowledge contribution in the short term. For the long term, tailoring incentives to each department's specific characteristics can be beneficial, especially for physicians who have already established a strong online reputation.

Online user feedback has become an essential mechanism for software organizations to gain insight into user concerns and to recognize areas for improvement. In software platform ecosystems, staying abreast of user feedback is particularly challenging due to the multitude of feedback channels and the complex interplay with third party applications. In this paper we report from a mixed-method study of user feedback from over 40,000 relevant reviews from 139 SECO platforms out of 2.4 million online user reviews scraped from 283 retrieved SECO platforms. Through thematic analysis and machine learning classifiers with high accuracy, we identified and analyzed six categories of user challenges in the areas of Integration, Customer Support, Design & Complexity, Privacy & Security, Cost & Pricing, and Performance & Compatibility. Our analysis also shows a significant growth of SECO user feedback in the past five years, highlighting the importance of understanding such user feedback as well as research methodologies to automatically study online user concerns in software ecosystems. To further understand mitigation strategies for challenges reported by end users, we interviewed four executives from large ecosystems and describe strategies in addressing those identified challenges. This research is a first large scale study of user feedback in software ecosystems;the categories of user concerns are hopefully useful in guiding platforms in designing and fostering better software ecosystems. Our methodology for automatically classifying the user feedback that is SECO-related can also serve as guidance for future studies that can further advance our understanding of user feedback and how to integrate it into improved software ecosystems.
