Cloud Computing technology and services despite the advantages they bring to the market have created number of issues regarding the security and trust of the individuals using them. Incidents occurring in cloud computing environments are hard to be solved since digital forensic methods used to conduct digital investigations are not suitable for cloud computing investigations since they do not consider the specific characteristics of the Cloud. However, designing services over the cloud that will support and assist an investigation process when an incident occurs is also of vital importance. This paper presents a conceptual model for supporting the development of a cloud forensics method and process, thus assisting information systems developers in building better services and investigators to be able to conduct forensics analysis in cloud environments.

This paper intends to share the development experience of the application ontology of the SaaS version of the decision statistical mapping and geomarketing software Cartes and Donnees (C and D). The ontology describing the C and D application domain was conceived for automation of semantic annotation of CD7Online's users data to help users better understand their data and make better selection and representation choices. We followed the application ontology development methodology of Noy and McGuinness, which we expanded with the mapping to an upper ontology and an additional ontology evaluation step according to user specific needs.

This paper describes how lean elements have been applied in a large company to change existing agilean culture towards innovation culture. Innovation concentrates on radical, new business innovations but covers product and process innovations as well. The main motivation and need to build the innovation culture was an assumption that the company has a lot of competence and innovation potential not utilized. The final goal is to measure if the actions taken really have an impact to the amount and quality of new, radical innovations and business growth of the company. This paper is limited to the intermediary results achieved after the first year being (1) ideas-to-innovations value stream established (2) idea flow and positive pull created among personnel and (3) group of perfection practices has been stabilized for continuous improvement. We plan to describe, measure and analyze concrete examples of radical innovations in the future.

business process compensation is an error recovery strategy aiming at semantically reversing the effects of an interrupted business process execution and restoring it to a valid state. Studies have shown that modeling error handling in general, and compensation in particular, represents the bulk of process design efforts. To that end, we proposed in a previous work an approach to model semi-automatically compensation processes based on a business analysis within the REA framework, restoring it to its initial state. However, we argue that it is neither practical nor desirable to cancel the whole process in some situations. Instead, the process should be reversed to an intermediate state from which it could resume its execution. This work aims at solving this compensation scoping problem by inferring the possible "rollback points". Our approach relies on a resource flow analysis within the context of an OCL-based behavioral specification of business process activities. In this paper, we present our slicing algorithm and lay our ground ideas on how we could identify possible candidates as process' rollback activities.

Many organizations providing it services try to be service-oriented at the business layer and at the it layer. To do so, these organizations follow a service-orientation for their management and business processes while working with a service-oriented system (sos). This should improve, i.a., their work organization during the service implementation projects and the exchange of information between the stakeholders. However, a very few papers bring solutions for aligning an it service management (ITSM) framework -which represents the business layer-with a service implementation methodology -which stands for the it level. In this paper, we detail the Papazoglou's service design and development methodology in order to align it with ITIL v.3, which is probably the most used ITSM framework. This work should help the staff of companies respecting the ITIL v.3 best practices and owing an sos in their communication and in their project management, leading to the implementation and the composition of services.

In software development organizations, large-scale distributed projects pose many challenges, such as hierarchical requirements, large team size, and managing workflow. Agile methods, like Scrum, seem to have limitations in addressing those issues. Kanban offers an interesting alternative in this concern by setting work-in-progress (WIP) limits to manage flow and establishing visibility of requirements using a visual signaling system. However, only few empirical studies have investigated scaling Kanban for large organizations. To address this concern, a case study was conducted in a large multisite company to identify the challenges and possible solutions in scaling Kanban. During the study, defining WIP limits, coordinating with distributed teams, and dividing features between teams were found as major challenges. Setting WIP limits by common agreement between teams and visualizing product backlogs and teams on electronic board, with teams pulling features from the board, were found as possible solutions for overcoming the mentioned challenges.

It is crucial to promote the use of cleaner transport modes, and new technologies are key to achieve this goal. Most mobile-based solutions are focused on services related with the journey itself (mobile ticketing, real-time traffic information and trip planners). Adopting a holistic point of view, and considering every trip has a purpose (work, school, shopping and entertainment), a new service approach is considered. This paper presents a multiservice approach that links city services and public transport to encourage the use of sustainable transport modes. This multiservice approach is based on mobile technologies, which are a unique channel of interaction between service providers and customers. The conceptual model of this approach is materialized in a concrete example. This multiservice approach may represent a step towards a sustainable mobility, while improving the image and efficiency of Public Transport Operators (PTOs), boosting local businesses loyalty and sales and bringing convenience, better service quality and monetary savings to customers.

The paper reports on experiences accumulated during a EU research project where challenges pertaining to requirements-driven metamodelling agility have been analysed. Traditionally, modelling languages are perceived as stable artefacts - that is, if they address a sufficiently large community with fixed modelling requirements on a fixed layer of abstraction. However, the enterprise modelling community must also consider the case where evolving requirements emerge in a narrow domain, or even in a single enterprise, therefore reusability across domains will be sacrificed to the benefit of on-demand adaptation, specialization or integration. Under such conditions, an agile metamodelling approach was applied in the ComVantage project and this, in turn, raised specific requirements for conceptual and technological enablers, allowing us to derive conclusions that are generalized here beyond the project scope. The paper's concluding SWOT analysis highlights the need to stimulate the emergence of an agile metamodelling paradigm based on community-driven enablers.

Using existing software components is a key factor when it comes to increasing productivity and improving the quality of software. It can be regarded as a mean to manage the increasing complexity of software, as software has become prevalent in most areas of our life. Thus, this study seeks to better understand the reuse of external software components. Based on two different theoretical lenses, non-rational effects on decision-making and the transaction cost theory, we analyze the degree of external reuse in software development projects. We tested our theoretical model empirically, with data collected in Germany. The empirical evidence is generally supportive of the theory with some exceptions. We find out that the not-invented-here bias plays the most important role in this strategic decision. Whereas, transaction cost constructs show mixed results. For example, technical uncertainty does not play a role, whereas business uncertainty positively influences the degree of external reuse.

In this paper we describe our efforts moving towards automatized testing in Android application development. With sophisticated combination of Android development tools and Perl scripts, we have automatized parts of the testing produce. Using the built system, unit tests are built and run automatically each time when a new build is created. In addition, we are automatizing user interface testing using Android uiautomator tool. In this automatization process we encountered several technical issues, for which Android development tools do not offer ready-made solutions, and we had to implement solutions for those.
