One of the main problems that arise in the process of extracting marine species during the closed seasons is the indiscriminate loading of marine species that are prohibited because they are in spawning season. These problems are often aggravated by the lack of transparency in inspection process, where inspectors receive bribes when they intervene with vessels on the high seas [1]. In addition to that, [2] details how the process of identifying marine species does not have rigorous verification due to not having the appropriate tools and control mechanisms. For those reasons, this paper has the general objective of the implementation of a technological solution based on a Artificial Intelligence and mobile application integrated into the identification and control processes of marine species in closed seasons by providing an adequate classification of the species detected by those devices. To achieve this, YOLO algorithm has been trained and used in an integrated app. YOLO is an algorithm whose architecture is based on convolutional neural networks. This algorithm, unlike other CNN-based architectures, seeks to perform detection in a single run, which allows it to be an extremely fast alternative by performing two fundamental tasks at the same time: identifying a region of interest and classifying it.

Online higher education offers great learning flexibility but demands learners' high self-regulated learning (SRL) skills, especially in self-paced and asynchronous online learning. The lack of SRL skills in many learners often leads to poor academic outcomes, underscoring the need for SRL support. Our study introduces CAP (Confidence-based Adaptive Practicing), a model of adaptive practicing designed to enhance SRL in STEM disciplines. CAP incorporates knowledge tracing and question sequencing as two core functions. Unlike traditional adaptive learning systems that rely solely on machine control, CAP integrates learner confidence feedback and learner control in its rule-based intuitive algorithms. To avert the subjectivities of human judgement on learner confidence, CAP employs Thompson Sampling machine learning to refine the algorithms for adaptive accuracy and efficiency. This innovative AI-learner shared control approach has garnered positive feedback from field experts, highlighting its potential effectiveness in facilitating SRL.

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has gained momentum in education. However, the use of AI in K-12 education is still in its nascent stages, and further research and development is needed to realize its potential. Moreover, the creation of a comprehensive and cohesive system that effectively harnesses AI to support teaching and learning across a diverse range of primary and secondary schools presents substantial challenges that need to be addressed. To fill these gaps, especially in countries like China, we designed and implemented the DMP_AI (DataManagement PlatformArtificial Intelligence) system, an innovative AIaided educational system specifically designed for K-12 education. The system utilizes data mining, natural language processing, andmachine learning, along with learning analytics, to offer a wide range of features, including student academic performance and behavior prediction, early warning system, analytics of Individualized Education Plan, talented students' prediction and identification, and cross-school personalized electives recommendation. The development of this system has been meticulously carried out while prioritizing user privacy and addressing the challenges posed by data heterogeneity. We successfully implemented the DMP_AI system in real-world primary and secondary schools, allowing us to gain valuable insights into the potential and challenges of integrating AI into K-12 education in the real world. This system will serve as a valuable resource for supporting educators in providing effective and inclusive K-12 education.

w The topic aims to thoroughly explore the application potential, trends, and value of scenario theory in the field of intelligent creation, focusing on the innovative talent development path in the track of intelligent creation within an interdisciplinary context. The entire topic is divided into three key stages. Firstly, through literature review and practical case assessments of scenario theory, it deeply analyzes the practical application and future trends of this theory in the field of intelligent creation. Secondly, it proposes an innovative path for intelligent product innovation based on scenario theory. Finally, this methodology is validated through typical teaching cases. In the three main parts of the research, combining with the background of the AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generation and Creation) era, scenario theory is reinterpreted and understood. At the same time, based on the characteristics of intelligent technology, innovative ideas for human-machine collaboration are explored. This article summarizes the results of the first phase of the research, including literature review, technical interpretation, and case analysis. Adopting a multidimensional research approach ensures the objectivity, authenticity, and effectiveness of the research. It is mainly divided into three parts: trends and insights of scenarios, the intelligent expression of scenarios, and new trends in intelligent scenario creation. This provides a beneficial theoretical framework and methodology for in-depth research on intelligent creation. The research results indicate that the application of scenario theory in intelligent creation plays a crucial role. Designers can use scenario theory to analyze user needs in different scenarios and translate these needs into design guidelines for intelligent machines, thereby achieving a good intelligent experience. This study investigates the impact of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) on the development of routine capabilities and practice changes within public organizations. Drawing on the theoretical lens of technology as routine capability, we conducted case studies at two Swedish public universities. Our findings reveal that the implementation of RPA, conceptualized as a routine capability, fostered the emergence of automation practices within these institutions despite their differing implementation experiences. We identified practice changes across four key dimensions: design, execution, diffusion, and shift. This paper contributes to the existing body of knowledge on RPA by offering detailed empirical insights into how it has advanced practices, induced organizational changes, and identified challenges that require further exploration. This research offers practical implications for public organizations managing RPA-triggered organizational transformations towards automation.

Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) is an important issue in the field of higher education. Although many studies on AIGC have appeared, they are mainly theoretical rather than empirical studies, and the study of how to effectively integrate AIGC into teaching is insufficient. Considering the compatibility between artificial intelligence and blended learning, based on constructivist learning theory and deep learning theory, and using AIGC, we designed a blended learning involving teacher, student, and AIGC, and three segments of pre-class, in-class, and post-class, and conducted teaching practice. A total of 79 students majoring in computer science and technology were selected as the research participants, and a single-group pre- and post-test method was employed to verify the effectiveness of the experiment. The results show that the blended learning design based on AIGC is feasible and effective, and students can adapt to and deeply participate in the teaching process. It also significantly improves students' deep learning ability and ensures that students master the knowledge of the course.

In prior research on Named Entity Recognition (NER), the focus has been on addressing challenges arising from data scarcity and overfitting, particularly in the context of increasingly complex transformer-based architectures. A framework based on information retrieval (IR), using a search engine to increase input samples and mitigate overfitting tendencies, has been proposed. However, the effectiveness of such system is limited, as they were not designed for this specific application. While this approach serves as a solid foundation, we maintain that LLMs offer capabilities surpassing those of search engines, with greater flexibility in terms of semantic analysis and generation. To overcome these challenges, we propose CALM an innovative context augmentation method, designed for adaptability through prompting. In our study, prompts are meticulously defined as pairs comprising specific tasks and their corresponding response strategies. This careful definition of prompts is pivotal in realizing optimal performance. Our findings illustrate that the resultant context enhances the robustness and performances on NER datasets. We achieve state-of-the-art F1 scores on WNUT17 and CoNLL++. We also delve into the qualitative impact of prompting.

Territories serve as a cognitive system for local societies, consolidating languages, shared experiences, and identities. As cities expand and peri-urban areas emerge, territories evolve, prompting the development of new design models. These models adopt a multisectoral, collaborative, and localized approach to address issues such as local economic development, quality of life, and active population participation. Promoting social interaction through activities and/or services fosters lasting relationships, strengthening communities. These interactions celebrate diversity and unity, creating spaces for sharing, collaboration, dialogue, and empathy. Interaction design for territories aims to advance sustainable development by considering not only the physical aspects of the territory but also human relationships, heritage preservation, responsible resource use, and cultural identity. We aim to present opportunities for interaction design to intervene in peri-urban contexts by fostering more personalized and engaging community-centered experiences. This paper, structured as a literature review, explores interaction design for territories as amindset, process, tools, and interdisciplinary language. It introduces key concepts for designing experiences for visitors and local communities, including authenticity, co-creation, storytelling, and emotional atmospheres. Examining the culturalmapping of Lousa in the Lisbon MetropolitanArea, Portugal, the paper proposes an augmented reality (AR) application tomediate social interactions and enhance cultural and natural heritage. It questions the synergy between interaction design for territories and service design, emphasizing their potential to foster trust and efficiency in the digital era. The analysis under-scores the profound impact of interaction design as a catalyst for behavioral change, creating cohesive and community-oriented social interactions within territories.

The pursuit of a common theoretical framework of User Experience (UX) is challenging but important, as Experience Design, being an emerging and rapidly evolving discipline, encompasses diverse backgrounds, hindering the establishment of universally accepted principles. Our study aims to identify potential strategies to navigate this dilemma. We conduct a qualitative examination of the UX industry over the past decade, revealing that the conventional industry and academic perspectives often overlook behavioral fields indirectly related to UX practice. These fields, however, unveil crucial underlying factors that impede the development of a unified UX theory. Our findings highlight the need for directed efforts to overcome the obstacles in theory-building and provide a comprehensive overview of the eight behavioral fields relevant to UX. This serves to contextualize hidden causal factors and offers a panoramic view of the UX industry, laying a foundation for the development of a unified UX theory.
