The assessment of the quality of the interdisciplinary virtual simulation Comprehensive training program of economics and management can effectively analyze and find out the problems in the process of cultivating talents in economics and management, and promote the improvement of the cultivation level of talents in economics and management in colleges and universities. In this study, we used the literature research method and the Delphi method to design a quality assessment index system for inter-disciplinary virtual simulation integrated training programs in economics andmanagement based on students' experience, which contains 4 first-level indicators, 14 s-level indicators and 47 third-level indicators. Then the AHP methodwas used to evaluate the quality of the inter-disciplinary virtual simulation integrated training program of economics andmanagement carried out by universities, and the results showed that there were 3 first-level indicators, 6 s-level indicators and 21 third-level indicators that had a greater impact on the quality of the program. Based on the assessment results, the study proposes quality improvement measures such as improving the project management mechanism, standardizing the practical training process, carrying out teaching reform and innovation, introducing experiential teaching mode, exploring diversified assessment methods, and constructing a collaborative and mutual-help learning platform, with a viewto improving the quality and cultivation effect of the interdisciplinary virtual simulation integrated practical training program in economics and management.

The ISO/IEC TS 27560:2023 Privacy technologies-Consent record information structure provides guidance for the creation and maintenance of records regarding consent as machine-readable information. It also provides guidance on the use of this information to exchange such records between entities in the form of 'receipts'. In this article, we compare requirements regarding consent between ISO/IEC TS 27560:2023, ISO/IEC 29184:2020 Privacy Notices, and the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to show how these standards can be used to support GDPR compliance. We then use the Data Privacy Vocabulary (DPV) to implement ISO/IEC TS 27560:2023 and create interoperable consent records and receipts. We also discuss how this work benefits the implementation of EU Data Governance Act (DGA), specifically for machine-readable consent forms.

Adaptive assessment is challenging, and considering various competence levels and their relations makes it even more complex. Nevertheless, recent developments in artificial intelligence (AI) provide new means of addressing these relevant issues. In this paper, we introduce BloomLLM, a novel adaptation of Large Language Models (LLMs) specifically designed to enhance the generation of educational content in alignment with Bloom's Revised Taxonomy. BloomLLM performs well across all levels of competencies by providing meaningful, semantically connected questions. It is achieved by addressing the challenges of foundational LLMs, such as lack of semantic interdependence of levels and increased hallucination, which often result in unrealistic and impractical questions. BloomLLM, fine-tuned on ChatGPT-3.5-turbo, was developed by fine-tuning 1026 questions spanning 29 topics in two master courses during the winter semester 2023. The model's performance, outpacing ChatGPT-4, even with varied prompting strategies, marks a significant advancement in applying generative AI in education. We have publicly made the BloomLLM codes and training datasets available to promote transparency and reproducibility.

Providing feedback is a crucial element of teaching and powerful for improving student learning. Yet, monitoring and assessing individual students' performance to provide tailored feedback can be challenging, especially in large classes. Teacher dashboards can provide teachers with information about individual students and support them in identifying student needs and providing feedback aligned with students' performance. We conducted a field study in German secondary schools (N = 7 teachers, n = 225 students) to investigate which dashboard information teachers based their feedback on, and to what extent teachers used the information to tailor their feedback to students' needs. Our study adds empirical evidence that teachers can utilise teacher dashboards to provide students on different performance levels with differential feedback.

Stance detection, defined as the task of classifying an individual's attitude towards a target person or concept, offers the potential to understand political opinions at scale using social media data. However, recent studies have questioned the robustness and accuracy of current stance detection methods, highlighting issues such as generalizability in time and inconsistencies in annotations driven by subtle differences in annotation task design. We argue that central to these challenges is the unresolved question of what constitutes an expression of stance. To address this, the present work introduces a distinction between explicit and implicit stance expressions, and argue that a focus on explicit stance detection addresses many of the existing concerns with modern stance detection methods. To facilitate research on explicit stance detection, we then present a novel (and public) dataset of over 1000 tweets across 13 stance targets for explicit stance detection and evaluate baseline models to establish a foundation for future research in this area.

With the increasing awareness of people's protection during physical activities, the sports sector is gradually moving towards a more diverse and health-oriented development. This trend has propelled the growth of the market for joint protective gear and innovation in gear design. Currently, existing designs for knee joint protection focus on improving the functionality of protective devices but neglect considerations for the user's wearingmethod and the real experience during actual use. Therefore, this study is based on four common fixation methods for knee joint protective gear (X-shaped patellar strap, double-layer double-sided fixed-open knee protector, double-layer bottom-fixed open knee protector, single-layer magic tape fixed-open knee protector). We measured aspects such as sports restraint, stability, and ease of operation over a certain period, considering the amount of physical activity, knee protector displacement distance, and wearing time. We conducted practical tests with 54 user samples. Through the analysis of objective quantitative data and the combination with subjective qualitative data from users, we believe that the wearing method of the single-layermagic tape fixed-open knee protector provides better sports restraint and stability, and users have a better wearing experience. There is a certain structural-functional relationship between the objective structure of this knee joint protector and human motion data and wearing experience. Furthermore, the initial impression that the product's appearance leaves on users significantly affects their wearing experience. Based on this, the protective gear in this study can provide effective support and protection for the knee joint, offering users a safer and more comfortable sports experience. In addition, the research findings provide design references for the optimization of various wearable/protective devices for joints.

We study witness-authenticated key exchange (WAKE), in which parties authenticate through knowledge of a witness to any NP statement. WAKE achieves generic authenticated key exchange in the absence of trusted parties;WAKE is most suitable when a certificate authority is either unavailable or undesirable, as in highly decentralized networks. In practice WAKE approximates witness encryption, its elusive non-interactive analogue, at the cost of minimal interaction. This work is the first to propose, model and build witness-authenticated key exchange amongst groups of more than two parties, as well as the first to provide practical and provably secure constructions in the two-party case for general NP statements. Specifically our contributions are: 1. both game-based and universally composable (Canetti, FOCS '01) definitions for WAKE along with equivalence conditions between the two definitions, 2. a highly general compiler that introduces witness-authentication to any key exchange protocol along with, as a direct consequence, a three-round group WAKE protocol from DDH and signatures of knowledge (SOK), and 3. an optimized two-round group WAKE construction from DDH and SOK along with experimental benchmarks to demonstrate concrete practicality. Additionally, we study the specialized two-party case and provide a critique of prior work on this topic (Ngo et al., Financial Crypto '21) by pinpointing nontrivial weaknesses in the model, constructions and security proofs seen therein. We rectify those limitations with this work, significantly diverging in our techniques, design and approach.

Motivated by the goal of building a cryptocurrency with succinct global state, we introduce the abstract notion of a revocable proof system. We prove an information-theoretic result on the relation between global state size and the required number of local proof updates as statements are revoked (e.g., coins are spent). We apply our result to conclude that there is no useful trade-off point when building a stateless cryptocurrency: the system must either have a linear-sized global state (in the number of accounts in the system) or require a near-linear rate of local proof updates. The notion of a revocable proof system is quite general and also provides new lower bounds for set commitments, vector commitments and authenticated dictionaries.

Learning analytics dashboards can provide students with personalized actionable feedback to enhance students' learning. Previous studies have shown positive effects of such advisory dashboards on course engagement and self-regulatory activities. To date, no studies have investigated the effects of advisory dashboards on students' offline learning activities, such as taking and reviewing written notes, while previous research suggests that many students also employ offline learning activities. Using a randomized control trial, the current study investigated the effects of an advisory dashboard on students' online and offline remediation activities. Before the start of a second-year course, 65 Bachelor of Law students completed a prior knowledge test concerning the topics of a preceding first-year course. The experimental group (n = 30) received their test results and personalized feedback to review particular knowledge clips and quizzes to remediate their prior knowledge. The control group (n = 35) received their test results and a generic, non-personalized remediation advice. A combination of digital trace and questionnaire data measured students' remediation activities, including the review of knowledge clips, online quizzes, readings and written notes. The findings did not reveal significant effects of the personalized actionable feedback on students' remediation activities. However, overall students showed a strong preference for offline activities to remediate their prior knowledge. This calls for further studies on students' offline learning activities in response to personalized actionable feedback.

Dissonance is easy. Consonance is rare. We want scales and tunings that give different flavors of consonance, without being too complex, and with small errors. Regular Temperament Theory (RTT) is a powerful tool, reducing the problem to approximating a few small prime numbers, and generating tunings by stacking a few intervals called generators. RTT opens a middle ground between just intonation and equal temperaments that goes far beyond meantone, applying linear algebra to discover new temperaments that balance complexity and error in differentwayswhile providing harmonies that do not exist in conventional tunings. We introduce the theory and list some open problems.
