We focus on speeding up MobileViT, a model known for high accuracy in image classification tasks with fewer parameters. Our goal is to reduce the processing time of the Transformer part of MobileViT, which is the main slowdown factor, by using the Token Merging (ToMe) technique. However, because the number of tokens varies before and after merging, we cannot apply ToMe to MobileViT without making some modification. Therefore, we propose a simple method that facilitates the application of ToMe. By employing this method, we have successfully applied ToMe to MobileViT-s, leading to a slight drop in top-1 accuracy by 3.44% but reducing computational time by about 14.5%. While slightly inferior to the MobileViT-xs (smaller model), our model achieves similar speed and accuracy. Our method is simple and leaves the Token Merging algorithm unchanged. Thus, by improving the algorithm in addition to our proposed method, there is a potential to create models in the future that operate faster and with higher accuracy than MobileViT-xs. Additionally, since this modification can be adapted to other models facing similar issues, our proposal serves as a method that expands the adaptability of ToMe.

The Moroccan healthcare system has undergone significant advancements aimed at ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of citizens by providing high-quality services that are uniformly accessible across the entire national territory and financially affordable. Despite progress made over the past two decades, the healthcare sector in Morocco faces new challenges. The widespread implementation of basic medical coverage will significantly strain existing human and material resources, especially given the revelations brought forth by the Covid-19 pandemic, emphasizing the need to adopt digital transformation as a realistic alternative for a resilient healthcare system. In response to these imperatives, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection integrated e-health into its sectoral strategies as early as 2008. This digital transformation aligns with Morocco's commitment to play a major role in digital advancements in Africa. Various strategies, such as "e-Maroc 2010", "Maroc numerique 2013", "Maroc Digital 2020", and "Horizon 2025", have paved the way to position Morocco as a leading digital destination on the international stage. The "MoroccoTech" initiative, launched by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, aims to create a comprehensive momentum conducive to digital transition, naturally encompassing the healthcare sector. The adoption of e-health, as a promising future domain for the national healthcare system, will enable Morocco to establish a personalized and secure healthcare system, more focused on prevention and prediction.

Routing techniques enable routers to communicate with one another in a network. RPL, the standardized routing protocol for IoT networks, consists of two default objective functions: OF0 and MRHOF, routing metrics based on Hop Count and Expected Transmission Count, respectively. The performance of an objective function for optimal route selection depends upon the radio mechanism used by the network and the number of nodes in the network. This work evaluates the performance of OF0 and MRHOF objective functions in terms of energy consumption and packet delivery ratio usingUDGMDL, UDGMCL, andMRMradio mechanisms with a node size of 25, 30, 40, and 50. Experimentation was performed in Contiki OS, and the Python script was used for analysis. In a dense network, the MRHOF objective function within the MRM model shows a significant enhancement of 32.39% compared to UDGMDL and an improvement of 13.25% compared to UDGMCL.

With the rapid growth in the number of available pre-trained machine learning (ML) models for common tasks, with different performance, focus, and capabilities, complex problems can increasingly be solved through adequate choice of model, more than through training or tuning new models. In this paper we introduce the AI Folk methodology to address the challenge of autonomously managing ML models in a community of agents which can use and exchange semantic information about the models that they are using. We present a proof-of-concept implementation in an autonomous driving setting tackling various practical challenges which arise when dealing with this goal.

Blockchain is one of the core technologies of the present world. Its decentralized architecture has received extensive research attention. Peer-to-peer technology has given freedom and transparency to the user. With the implementation of blockchain inside investment, finance, or trading platforms the problem of security, transparency, and trust can also be addressed. The most suitable consensus protocol can help in fault tolerance. Distribution of blockchain-like hyper ledger promises strong consistency of state and can perform thousands of operations at the same time. Blockchain technology can be helpful in tracing carbon footprints and can be proven helpful in controlling global warming. This paper illustrates what blockchain is, its different consensus mechanisms, its implementation inside an application, its distribution hyper ledger, and how blockchain can be used for tracing carbon footprints.

In the paper a convex game with discontinuous payoff functions is considered. This paper introduces the concept of quasi-Nash equilibrium, which allows us to analyze games with discontinuous payoff functions by approximating them with continuous and concave functions. We show that if the approximation is close enough, then the quasi-Nash equilibrium is close to the true Nash equilibrium (if it exists).

Affective competence encompasses the capacity to identify, comprehend, and manage one's own emotions as well as discern and appropriately respond to the emotions of others. This concept, first introduced by psychotherapist Silvan Tomkins in the 1960s, plays a pivotal role in empathy, i.e., the ability to grasp someone else's perspective. Training programs aimed at bolstering affective competence focus on teaching individuals to recognize their emotions and those of others, and the impact these emotions have on behavior. In the realm of healthcare, affective competence is intricately linked to the delivery of care. The recognition and understanding of both self and others' emotions, coupled with the ability to apply this insight to guide actions, are fundamental to providing high-caliber care. Affective competence is a crucial aspect of patient care as it contributes to reducing patient anxiety, fostering comfort during treatment, and aiding in their understanding of their medical journey and recovery path. Achieving this level of competence is a vital objective for healthcare providers in their mission to offer exemplary care.

In traditional production assembly lines, conveyors are widely used to move components from one workstation to another. The conveyor belt must stop and stay at each workstation for a specific period of time and wait until activated. Then the assembly operation is complete before the conveyor can move the components to the other workstation. Conveyor downtime accumulates and lengthens the entire assembly process. This causes a decrease in overall production efficiency, especially in automated assembly lines. This study presents a method that can increase the productivity of an assembly line by assembling moving objects on a conveyor belt using image processing and manipulators. One monocular camera is attached at the end-effector of 6DOF robot. It will apply the image processing algorithm to detect objects to be assembled on the conveyor belt. After that, the position and angle of the object are calculated and transformed to robot coordinate through transformation matrix obtained from the camera calibration process. The assembly process will be performed based on the calculated position and direction of the object and the speed of the conveyor belt. Through experiments, the system proves to have high reliability and stability and meets the requirements of industrial assembly. The system is also easy to install and maintain.

The Internet of Things describes the network of electronic devices that are consistently interconnected via Internet. These devices, which encompass sensors, software, and similar mediums, interact with other devices or systems. As the quantity of these interconnected devices on the Internet has surged dramatically, there has been an increasing interest among certain malicious individuals to exploit these devices for their own gain. Anotable instance of this is illustrated by the Mirai Botnet case. To counteract the potential manipulation of these devices by malicious entities, researchers have embarked on proposing models to comprehend the behaviors of these Botnets and their propagation patterns. In this sense, we aim to investigate one of these models, namely the NIMFA model. This model is noteworthy for its impressive scalability, enabling effective modeling of networks with up to 100,000 nodes with quadratic time complexity. Consequently, we propose to design a scalable SIS stochastic epidemiological model based on the N-intertwined Mean-Field Approximation (NIMFA) model for security analysis in IoT networks. Moreover, the outcomes of the NIMFA model closely align with those of other models, such as the Gillespie Simulation Algorithm.

We consider the marginal problem in Dempster-Shafer theory, investigating the structure of a suitable set of bivariate joint belief functions having fixed marginals, by relying on copula theory. Next, we formulate two Kantorovich-like optimal transport problems, either seeking to minimize the Choquet integral of a given cost function with respect to the reference set of joint belief functions or its dual functional. We finally give a noticeable application by choosing a metric as cost function: this permits to define pessimistic and optimistic Choquet-Wasserstein pseudo-distances, that can be used to compare belief functions on the same space.
