In recent years, it has been recorded that university students quickly lose attention during theoretical classes. When asked to develop an activity using the concepts seen in class, they lost the explanations and asked if it was something new. The previous situation is not a short-term memory problem but a characteristic of new generations. They are different, more dynamic, and change their thoughts quickly. They were born immersed in technology, and today, they learn to use digital tools easily. This research shares the results obtained using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations as a didactic tool in a Mechanical Engineering course employing the Tec21 Educational Model. The case study consisted of teaching the same topics in four groups. CFD simulations were used in two of them, and in the other two, they were not. To evaluate the effects of using CFD simulations as a teaching tool, the grades obtained by students during the course, a survey of students' perceptions about the course, and voluntary comments from students at the end of the semester were considered. The results show an improvement in grades, the acceptance of using software applications to generate simulations, and the recognition of the professor's expertise when teaching the course.

Mathematical knowledge beginning with, very simple mathematical definitions to very complex expressions is necessary for mathematical modelling. The same reality is true for Fuzzy Logic. Researchers all over the world have to understand to some degree the fundamental concepts of advanced mathematics. Infinity, continuity, limit, theory of functions, symbolic logic, number theory, linear algebra, probability theory, and topology are some of these fundamental concepts. If any researcher without a sound mathematical background, applies only the Fuzzy Logic formulas, it will be very superficial. We have to keep in mind that to understand the mathematical philosophy of Fuzzy Logic, we must learn and digest a whole different area in mathematics. Like in every field of science understanding the main idea and philosophy of Fuzzy Logic is much more important than technical and operational features. Day by day the concept of Fuzzy Sets influences many different fields, particularly engineering systems, sociology, economy, semantics, data analysis, medicine, decision making, etc.

The objective of this research was to analyze the representation of women in ATV's Andrea television program during the month of May, Lima 2022;therefore, the methodology used had a qualitative approach by describing a single category. In addition, the phenomenological level allowed us to understand the observed reality based on the interpretation of the programs broadcast by Andrea TV through the content analysis method, which was through techniques such as observation and used the observation guide as an instrument. In addition, the total study population was composed of 22 programs broadcast during the month of May 2022, with nine programs that make up the sample chosen through non-probability sampling. The result was the analysis of the representation of women based on stereotypes, audiovisual language, and social roles that are observed during the evolution of the conversation during the episode. Concluding that the representation of women is appreciated from the interaction of opinions between the guests and the intermediation of the hostess Andrea.

The present research establishes an analysis between two variables with the main objective of knowing what would be the perception of the inhabitants of Tumbes about the external communication strategies to obtain a positive impact on the National Mangrove Sanctuary of Tumbes. One of the main results is the poor relationship between the two variables according to the numerical data. The sample corresponding to a total of 215 people was made, for this a quantitative approach was carried out for the elaboration of statistical data and to verify the quality of the document, according to this it is possible to obtain the specific hypothesis that goes according to the study. One of the main results is the poor relationship between the two variables according to the numerical data.

Virtual 3D tools provide significant support for learning and the teaching process. The implementation and development of communication and information technologies in our society, as well as in the scientific and teaching environment, is nowa reality. The main goal of this article is to present an application made in VR technology for learning the construction and maneuvering of MV switchboards. The application was created as a result of cooperation with PRADMA from Olsztyn during the implementation of the Virtual Electrical Switchgear (VES) project. Thanks to VR models, it is possible to simulate many different scenarios in controlled conditions, as well as to create advanced training applications enabling the development of correct habits without exposing trainees to risk. The application consists of a tutorial and 3 levels of training and functional VR simulations and was launched for students of the first and third year of first-cycle studies in electrical engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. The developed program was designed to effectively introduce the application user to the basic information about moving the virtual avatar, interacting with the prepared elements, and to provide information on the construction of the MV switchgear and its components. Preliminary tests of the application's suitability will be shown during testing in the Laboratory of Electrical Apparatus and Switching Processes.

Reference evapotranspiration (ET) helps manage irrigation water supply, minimize freshwater waste, maximize crop yields, and promote sustainable agriculture. However, machine learning (ML)-based ET forecasting models are only effective and accurate if localized weather/climatic data are available, which is not always the case in most cases, especially in many parts of Africa. In this study, we obtained a historical climate record of 23 years from the gridded AgERA5 dataset and calculated ET using the Penman-Monteith (PM) method. Thereafter, two different ET prediction algorithms (transformer and long short-term memory network (LSTM)) were trained using the AgERA5 to overcome the challenges caused by limited localized data. According to the results, LSTM outperformed the transformer in terms of forecasting ET, with lower mean absolute error (MAE) values, root mean square errors (RMSE), and a higher correlation coefficient (R2). Therefore, the proposed approach demonstrates how gridded climate observations can be integrated with soft computing techniques for precise ET forecasting within areas that lack access to climate records from local meteorological stations.

It has grown more challenging to ensure security and trust as wireless communications become more common across a number of industries. In recent years, with the advancement of technology, the number of malware attacks has also increased, Peru being one of the countries with more cyberattacks of this type to electronic devices. Therefore, the main objective of the proposed study is to design a Malware detection model using Deep Learning techniques in cell phones with Android operating system. For this purpose, 5 phases have been carried out in the methodology to be able to recognize Malware anomalies and present error-free data comprising the following: Imported dataset, preprocessing, feature extraction, model implementation and evaluation. In addition, different machine learning models such as DT, RF, SVM and K-NN were developed and the results were evaluated using the metrics Accuracy, Precision, Recall and F1-score. For malware detection, RF presents the highest percentage in all the indicated parameters 89.23%, 87.59% and 88.90% and in Recall it is below K-NN with 85.84%. The RF model outperforms all the algorithms applied in the model, showing that better predictive results can be obtained.

Cyber attacks against the food supply chain could have serious effects on our society. As more networked systems control all aspects of the food supply chain, understanding these threats has become more critical. This research aims to gain a better understanding of the threat landscape by reviewing the existing literature about the topic. Previous research concerning food supply chain cyber threat was surveyed using the scoping review method. In total, 43 research articles focusing on different parts of the food supply chain were reviewed and summarized in this study. The most prominent identified cybersecurity topics include smart farming, cyber-physical systems, threats against industrial control systems and old unmaintained software.

In order to further explore the occurrence mechanism of road traffic accidents;this paper takes into account the differences in road types. Based on the open source traffic accident data set of the British Ministry of Transport, the traffic accident risk factors and their importance of the four road types with the highest traffic accident rates are studied. Firstly, based on data visualization, the distribution of data is preliminarily explored from the spatial and temporal dimensions. Secondly, aiming at the shortcomings of the integrated algorithm with more hyperparameters, which lacks accurate and efficient parameter adjustment methods, a Bayesian optimization based random forest algorithm (BO-RF) implemented by the Optuna framework is proposed to construct the risk factor importance level screening model of four road types. In addition, a control experiment with the random forest algorithm based on random search optimization (RS-RF) was carried out. The results show that the BO-RF algorithm model based on the Optuna hyperparameter optimization framework has shorter tuning time and higher accuracy. Finally, based on the visualization results of road traffic accident risk factor level obtained by the model constructed by BO-RF algorithm, a scheme suitable for reducing accidents under this road condition is proposed, which provides a reference for preventing road traffic accidents and optimizing relevant safety management regulations.
