The analysis of histopathological scans is a very important test in the diagnosis of breast cancer. In this paper we present an overview of modern methods of classifying histopathology scans on the example of BreakHis dataset. To select the best performing we compared eighteen different architectures of Vision Transformers (ViT). The results were also compared with the best performing deep convolutional neural networks. Our results show often non-obvious ViT architectures that are best at classifying scans in the BreakHis database.

This paper focuses on the application of three data analysis techniques decision trees, neural networks and self-organising Kohonen maps - to identify internal dependencies in a wide range of data. Based on the analysis of a dataset including patient information, the performance of these methods in classification and prediction is compared. The results emphasise the importance of method selection depending on the characteristics of the data and provide a basis for further research in the application of machine learning in various fields.

This paper addresses the problem of insufficient practical learning caused by limited laboratory facilities in Indian educational institutions by employing a marker-based augmented reality (AR) application called 'ChemARcade'. This is for students studying under different educational boards to visualise and perform chemistry experiments in their environment. According to a recent report, the availability and quality of integrated science laboratories in Indian secondary schools vary significantly, with challenges such as funding, safety concerns, and teacher shortages. Primary research was conducted in the form of focus groups and interviews with middle school and high school students and teachers to gather insights. A framework is proposed that combines technology integration, engagement, and standardisation to create an enhanced educational experience. The AR prototype is developed on the Vuforia Engine Software Development Kit available on the Unity platform. A mockup of the application is made on Figma for students to select their educational board and grade. Furthermore, the application has an element of gamification where students can unlock mystery chemicals by completing experiments, to keep them motivated. To conclude, ChemARcade offers a solution to India's laboratory facility challenges by utilising AR and gamification to enhance chemistry education. Future work should include expanding the application to cover a wider range of educational boards, enhancing gamified content, and ensuring accessibility for all students.

In prenatal treatment necessitating the development of sophisticated approaches like deep neural network-based cardiography analysis to improve outcomes. This project examines prenatal health monitoring through cardiography data analysis applying deep neural networks. We propose a unique deep neural network approach trained on the fetal cardiotocography dataset obtaining an amazing 97% accuracy in forecasting prenatal health risk levels. Leveraging different cardiography characteristics. Our methodology provides comprehensive risk identification and preemptive healthcare treatments. Our strategy shows potential for transforming prenatal care practices and increasing maternal-fetal outcomes. This study serves as a cornerstone for future breakthroughs in prenatal care delivery. It offers enormous potential for enhancing worldwide maternal and fetal health standards.

User interfaces are a significant part of websites, but even when websites are targeted at children, the UIs are designed by adults. Adults do not remember what it is like to be a child, yet children have usually been excluded from the design process, even when they are an important user group. The main goal of this study was to find a way to include 6th graders in the design process so that they could express what kind of UI elements they like. This study was conducted by organizing short design sessions where children got to choose their favorite UI elements from different design alternatives and use them to build a low-tech prototype of a UI. We found that the results produced with this method were sensible and revealed valuable information about children's UI preferences.

The impact of cybersecurity threats has had a significant negative effect on organizations in terms of financial, operational, and external stakeholder trust. Promoting awareness of the importance of secure technology usage in the cyber world is crucial. This research aims to identify key issues affecting the establishment of cybersecurity awareness within organizations and analyze qualitative data from the perspective of cybersecurity experts through in-depth interviews with 15 participants. The interview questions were systematically developed to validate their ability to explain phenomena affecting cybersecurity awareness. Analysis of the qualitative data revealed four significant issues that influence cybersecurity awareness within organizations including security risks faced by organizations, cyberattacks on individuals, threats to organizational security and problem-solving guidelines. In conclusion. The research findings highlight the importance of fostering cybersecurity awareness for all individuals within an organization and consider it a vital component in sustaining cyber security.

Considering the benefits of the parameterizable Aczel-Alsina (AA) operator and the Maclaurin symmetric mean (MSM) operator in capturing attribute relationships, this paper develops a fusion operator of AA and MSM under interval-valued q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (IVq-ROFSs). Firstly, based on the operational rules of interval-valued q-rung orthopair fuzzy AA (IVq-ROFAA), the interval-valued q-rung orthopair fuzzy weighted average AA-MSM operator (IVq-ROFAAMSMWA) is introduced which combines the IVq-ROFAA operator with the MSM operator. Then, expert weights are derived based on satisfaction which is constructed by closeness of two interval-valued q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers. Third, a group decision-making approach (GDM) is formulated utilizing the satisfaction-based expert weight method and IVq-ROFAAMSMA operator that has been developed. The case of classroom performance of learners validates the feasibility and effectiveness of the suggested GDM approach and comparative analysis results further validate the IVq-ROFAAMSMA operator is effective.

The recognition of human actions in real-world scenarios is crucial for smart systems like automatic security monitoring and medical monitoring. Achieving high accuracy in these recognition systems often requires significant resources, including costs and human resources. This is a challenge for all researchers as well as companies around the world. Some recent research has focused on analyzing sequenced postures to recognize human actions using deep learning techniques, which demonstrates promising results. This paper presents new study results on human posture analysis based on skeleton instead of relying on optical flow approach. This method involves analyzing two stages: (1) evaluating the effectiveness of extracting skeletons from videos using various approaches such as YOLOv8 and MediaPipe, and (2) analyzing efficiency of human action inferring from skeletons-based posture sequences using deep learning techniques such as Long short-term memory (LSTM). Additionally, the proposed method is experimented with a KTH dataset. The experimental results compared the skeleton-based human action recognition task between the two pose estimation models. The results demonstrate that the proposed method is more effective in real-world human action recognition tasks with a not-too-complicated implementation process while the accuracy is improved quite well, about 95% to 97%. The results show that solutions based on MediaPipe to extract skeletons outperformer YOLOv8 pose based approach.

We propose a Quantum Iterative Algorithm as a solution to the linear system of equations subject to certain constraints. The existing Quantum Solution of the linear system of equations of the form Ax=b, where A is a Hermitian Matrix, has been developed by Aram Harrow, Avinatan Hassidam and Seth Loyd. Solving a system of linear equations arises in many complex scientific problems. Here, one can find an approximate solution where A is a sparse square N-dimensional matrix with condition number K. The quantum algorithm, as proposed, has run time poly(LogN,K) compared to the classical case where it takes O(N root k) time. But the main problem in the NISQ era is the requirement of many qubits for solving such a linear equation system in the quantum domain. The algorithm proposed here requires very few qubits because of its iterative characteristics, which are runnable in modern-day available quantum machines compared to the HHL Algorithm.

This paper proposes an augmented reality (AR) navigation system developed for indoor environment. The proposed navigation system is developed using Unity platform which is usually used for developing gaming applications. The proposed navigation system without the aid of Global Positioning System (GPS) tracks user's position and orientation accurately by making use of computer vision and image processing techniques. The user can navigate to the desired location using its user friendly and intuitive interface. The proposed system can be extended further to provide indoor navigational guidance within lager buildings such as malls, airports, universities and medical facilities.
