The remarkable advances in technology and the rise of digital products and services have brought an undeniable convenience to our lives. However, this progress comes at a cost to the environment, with the internet currently accounting for 3.8% of global carbon emissions. In response to the challenge of digital sustainability, this paper proposes a comprehensive approach to reduce the environmental impact of digital products through sustainable UI/UX design practices. Through a detailed examination of existing literature, market study analysis, and primary research, the study identifies a lack of awareness and standardised guidelines for integrating sustainability into UI/UX design. To address this gap, the paper presents a holistic web-based system comprising educational resources and practical tools, that will aid the design community in developing energy-efficient products on the web. This research contributes noteworthy insights to promote an eco-friendly design practice within the industry thus contributing to a more environmentally conscious digital landscape.

This paper, although not a report, presents one of the objectives of a project developed by four military universities in Europe. Following a survey of students from partner universities in the project, after the pandemic period, it was concluded that the existence of digital educational resources and teaching/learning methods adapted to online systems were not sufficiently developed at the institutional level of the four partners. The project was called Implementation of Digitalization in Defence Higher Education (DDHE) and through the development of the project's objectives, augmented reality was introduced into the military educational system was achieved. The present paper describes the achievement of this objective and its method of application in the daily educational process, which is innovative for military higher education institutions. The introduction of augmented reality into the teaching/learning process routine should be followed by the creation of complete user guides which will help teachers and students to develop more AR applications.

In this work we proposed two models on prediction of the successful and bankrupt digital currency exchanges based on financial data and measures collected from Wikipedia and Wikidata. The purpose of the article is to indicate how intermediary entities providing services related to innovative digital asset markets are characterized in the dominant open online sources. At the same time, this information is related to the knowledge flowing from portals and knowledge bases specializing in crypto-assets. Such a comparison of data and knowledge from two of the aforementioned groups of sources is intended to identify important aspects that objectify the risk analysis process for the selected group of entities. Risk analysis requires obtaining data and knowledge from a variety of sources, as objective as possible. This is the main precondition for having satisfactory and reliable results. Such analysis is necessary in order to make a better selection of intermediary entities for transactions carried out with digital means of exchange of value, and thus should significantly increase the awareness of entities operating in these markets and give the opportunity to reduce specific risks.

In particular, the scope is to generate dialogues between chosen characters, and this is achieved by a sequence of steps needed to build the proper dataset: face detection to recognize the characters in the comic, text recognition, and assigning texts to the characters. This study investigates the intricate relationship between auditors, audit reports, and the adoption of business intelligence (BI) in contemporary audit practices. Through a quantitative research approach, data was collected via a questionnaire distributed to auditors working in Big Four companies in Jordan. The findings reveal that both auditors and BI have a significant direct influence on the audit reports. However, contrary to expectations, BI does not moderate the relationship between auditors and audit reports. The results underscore the complexity of the interaction between auditors and audit reports, influenced by contextual factors such as organizational culture and regulatory environment. While BI enhances audit efficiency, it does not alter the auditor's influence on the final report. Recommendations include investing in BI adoption and providing training to auditors while acknowledging limitations such as sample specificity and reliance on self-reported data. This study contributes to understanding audit dynamics in the context of technological advancements and highlights the complementary roles of auditors and BI in ensuring the reliability of financial information.

A Learning Experience Platform (LXP) is an extension of a Learning Management System (LMS) with the emphasis on personalized learning support and learner motivation. In this paper extensions for the well established LMS Moodle are proposed, that include, beyond others, AI supported learning recommendations and user based feedback mechanisms to transform Moodle to Moodle LXP. The architecture of this Moodle LXP provides plug-ins for three types of recommendations, i.e. content-based and two collaborative recommendations. Furthermore, a separate module was developed that is responsible for data storage and calculation of recommended learning resources. Various metadata such as description, number of clicks of learning resources, rating, and feedback of the resources are used for the calculation. The extensions have been integrated into several lectures for three semesters. The system operates effectively and the students use the plug-ins for learning. To learn more about the quality of the recommendations, a mechanism for evaluating the results of the content-based recommendation using feedback from the lecturers was developed.

In recent years, the use of chatbots in education has been driven by advances in natural language processing and the increasing availability of digital education platforms. Although the added value of educational chatbots appears promising, researchers have noted that there is a need for empirical studies that explore the effects of incorporating chatbots into different learning scenarios. In this paper, we report on the integration of a rule-based chatbot into an information technology course. We conducted a controlled experiment in which half of the students were able to interact with the chatbot during Python lab sessions while the other half completed the sessions without the chatbot. Our results suggest that educational chatbots powered by short, simple, interactive scripts could have a positive impact on the user experience offered by learning technologies and could be pertinent to educators looking to integrate chatbots into their practice.
