Identifying a consistent set of criteria is essential to structuralize decision support models. It is especially relevant for the transparency of such models in public proceedings, where identifying a consistent family of criteria is a key factor in their objectification. It is worth pointing out that the criteria in public proceedings in Poland have arbitrary content and weighting determined each time by the contracting authority. There are no dictionaries that would make it easier for experts to analyze the criteria used, their categories, their dependence on the type of purchase, or their relevance to the subject of the contract. Following these shortcomings, this research uses natural language processing (NLP) to classify the criteria involved. The dataset was obtained from the Supplement to Tenders Electronic Daily (TED). The classification tasks used lemmatization, embeddings, and cosine similarity between embeddings where distances of 0.6 and 0.8 were checked. For comparison, the Lingo clustering algorithm was used. The work analyzed 113 373 proceedings in which 25 535 unique criterion names were used. Using NLP made it possible to group the criteria into 473 to 1 414 groups with a precision coefficient of 0.74 obtained.

The COVID-19 pandemic spurred an escalation in the demand for specific medications, consequently exposing pharmaceutical enterprises to a discernible productivity gap that necessitated resolution in order to effectively address the requisites and obligations of this sector. The core objective of this investigation is to scrutinize the augmentation in productivity within the realm of medication packaging processes, localized within a Peruvian pharmaceutical corporation. The research methodology deployed to attain the aforementioned objective adheres to a quasi-experimental framework, wherein observation assumes a pivotal role as the principal mechanism for capturing primary data sources. This methodology facilitates the documentation of acquired data within the ambit of manufacturing records. The outcomes unveiled innovative configurations of labor organization and equipment orchestration, which manifest as a strategic avenue for the enrichment of productivity. Thereby, this stratagem in turn expedites the amelioration of executed procedures aimed atmeeting the exigencies of the pharmaceutical industry. In summation, the adoption of a novel blister-packaging paradigm, seamlessly integrated within the production line, has demonstrated conclusive impacts on the expansion of productivity, consequently bolstering the domestic and international production capacities at a national level.

ChatGPT is currently one of the most advanced general chatbots. This development leads to diverse challenges in higher education, like new forms of teaching and learning, additional exam methods, new possibilities for plagiarism, and many more topics. On the other side with the development of advanced AI tools, pure knowledge will be less and less important, and demands from industry will change toward graduates with higher competencies. Education has therefore to be changed from knowledge-centered toward competence centered. The goal of this article is to use ChatGPT for analyzing and improving the competence orientation of exams in engineering education. The authors use ChatGPT to analyze exams from different engineering subjects to evaluate the performance of this chatbot and draw conclusions about the competence orientation of the tested exams. The obtained information is used to develop ideas for increasing the competence orientation of exams. From this analysis, it is visible that ChatGPT gives good performance mainly where knowledge is tested. It has, however, much more problems with transfer questions or tasks where students need creativity or complex insights for finding new solutions. Based on this result, exams and also lectures can be optimized toward competence orientation.

Providing students with exercises and timely feedback is pivotal in education, particularly in data science. This paper aims to assess the quality of three different types of feedback, one generated through traditional artificial intelligence methods called "schematic feedback", and the other two with different prompts passed to a Large Language Model (LLM), called "discursive feedback" and "combined feedback", the latter also exploiting the "schematic feedback". The three types of feedback are evaluated from both instructors' and students' perspectives, in terms of the feedback's ability to provide helpful suggestions on how to solve an exercise correctly. Instructors considered the "combined feedback" the most helpful feedback, compared to the "schematic feedback" and "discursive feedback", which were not considered substantially different. Students used the "schematic feedback" and "combined feedback" during their formative assessment activities: (i) they experienced the feedback better than expected, (ii) students of the current academic year (who used the "combined feedback" in addition to the "schematic feedback") reported an improved experience compared to students of the previous academic year (who used only the "schematic feedback"). In conclusion, we observed an improved quality of the feedback using LLM (reported by both instructors and students), as long as the prompt includes specific context, in our case, achieved by the "combined feedback". This study underscores the importance of leveraging LLMs in educational settings to provide tailored and helpful feedback, ultimately fostering a more effective learning environment.

This research focuses on young adults' vulnerability to cyber threats and develops an Identity Shield AR application to enhance privacy awareness through challenges. The game consists of three main challenges: Facebook Auth, Email Phishing, and Malware Hunter. These challenges focus on four main cyber attacks: identity theft, brute force, phishing, and malware. To test whether the awareness of the participants increased, an experiment was undertaken on 30 university students. Results indicate a significant impact on participants' awareness (p < 0.05), though limitations include a small sample size and basic AR features. Future work entails expanding AR capabilities, broadening the audience, and improving game mechanics and UI for enhanced educational impact.

In the geography class where the spatial concept is relatively abstract, the application of AR technology can improve students' learning performance and stimulate their learning interest. However, existing studies have not fully considered whether AR teaching will have different effects on students with different spatial abilities. Therefore, this study focuses on answering two questions: 1. What are the advantages of AR based geography teaching compared with the traditional teaching? 2. What is the impact of AR-based teaching on students with different spatial abilities? This study involved the design, development, and empirical testing of the AR education software 'Explore contour lines'. A total of 69 students from grade 7-8 in a middle school participated in this experiment and a two-group pre-and post-test design was adopted. The experimental group used AR technology-supported learning mode, while the control group used traditional teaching methods. It is found that AR based geography teaching can significantly improve student achievement and positively impact learning outcomes, and students with higher spatial ability are more effective in facilitating learning when using AR tools.

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into enterprise processes is rapidly transforming Enterprise Architecture. Developing these factors can position enterprise figures not only to succeed in this AI-centric epoch but also to define the future of Enterprise Architecture and gain a competitive edge.

When the research addresses the problem of empirical engine rectification based exclusively on the experience of the workers, which results in nonconformities on the part of the customers due to delays in delivery times. To solve this, it was proposed to standardize the operation cycles using the Stop and ObserveMethod. Through techniques such as direct observation, time studies and process diagrams, the grinding process was analyzed in detail. The data collected were compared with the Crystal Ball program, demonstrating consistency with 95% confidence. It was determined that the time required to rectify an engine was 27.23 days, with supplements affecting 4.8 h of an 8-h workday. The investigation proposed improvements, including the implementation of a hydraulic scissor table to reduce the physical strain on the operators and the introduction of hearing protection. This resulted in a noise reduction from 30 dB to 15 dB, exceeding the regulations of Executive Decree 2393. With these measures, the total grinding time was reduced to 26 days, representing an efficiency gain of 639.15 min or 10.65 h. This standardization not only improves the efficiency of the process, but also allows for more accurate communicationwith the customer on delivery times, increasing customer satisfaction.

This article describes the design and development of a digital system for the entrepreneurship education (EE) of engineering students or persons involved in lifelong learning. The positive evolution in understanding the importance of EE, together with our ever goal to better prepare our students for their future professional life, led us to create a digital ecosystem that could foster growth of their entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. The educational system was named BM-BINGS after our primary goals in its design: to facilitate students' acquisition of Business Modeling techniques (BM), familiarize them with Business Innovation (BI) models and professional networking (N), as well introduce them to Green and Sustainable (GS) business practices. Prior to design of the BM-BINGS digital ecosystem we conducted an investigation into the scientific literature on EE. The insights obtained from this research guided many of our design decisions and development strategies for the BM-BINGS system. The experience of our previous projects, which suggested the importance of transversal competences in entrepreneurial activities, led us to create a variety of interactive tools that would help students to acquire useful soft-skills, and to include these tools within the digital environments for EE. Of the three components of the digital ecosystem, the BM (Business Modeling) and BIN (Business Innovation) platforms are now operational in several European languages.

Culturally relevant pedagogy (CRP) is an approach to teaching and learning that recognizes the cultural backgrounds and experiences of students and seeks to use them as a foundation for education. Empowering diverse learners through the embrace of CRP is significant because it recognizes the importance of valuing and incorporating the cultural diversity of students in the teaching and learning process. By embracing CRP, educators can create inclusive and supportive learning environments that validate and respect the diverse cultural backgrounds of students. This pedagogical approach can lead to greater academic success, improved well-being, and increased engagement among students from diverse backgrounds. The purpose of this review paper is to investigate the usage of CRP in different educational settings by synthesizing and summarizing existing literature on the topic. The work demonstrates how embracing CRP in engineering, higher education, and K-12 settings can lead to inclusive and supportive learning environments that validate and respect the diverse cultural backgrounds of students. It also showcases the potential positive outcomes of CRP, including greater academic success, improved well-being, increased engagement, higher retention rates, transformative practices, critical consciousness, social justice, and closing the achievement gap. By promoting cultural awareness, respect for diversity, and equity, the paper advocates for the adoption of CRP to benefit students and society as a whole.
