Data science is responsible for the analysis, interpretation and prediction of simple data to generate significant knowledge, it applies to any area that produces data, for example: sales, finance, production, health, education, etc. Data science in education uses machine learning techniques and multivariate analysis. Currently, Educational Data Mining or EDM is spoken, which unites the areas of education, Big data, and data science to improve learning. In this study, data science models are analyzed and compared to identify patterns of behavior, similarity, and anomalous data from students to generate new unknown knowledge and characterize the profile of students according to learning styles such as those proposed by Felder and Silverman in addition to relating these styles to development by competencies. The results show that the most efficient methods are: Clustering and its k-means algorithm with which group characteristics are obtained, decision trees with its ID3 algorithm that through the gain of information a better classification is obtained and the PCA mathematical model or Principal Component Analysis that by its properties of variability analysis and dimension reduction allows to obtain more information from data with noise or outliers. A characterization of the data to be processed is also carried out, classifying it into profile data, class data and test data. These analyzed models will be implemented in a next phase in students of the Software Development career of the ISMAC Institute, which allows obtaining promising results to predict student learning styles and improve said learning process.

The emergence of Internet technology and the growth of the livestreaming sector have led to live-streaming marketing being a prominent example of the digital economy. This has resulted in a transformation of consumer consumption patterns and purchasing habits. Presently, the predominant focus of research on live-streaming marketing lies in assessing the efficacy of marketing strategies and examining consumer purchase intentions based on factors such as platform characteristics, perceived benefits, and perceived value. However, there is a lack of attention given to studying the user experience during live-streaming marketing. This study utilises the Stimulus-Organism-Response theory to create a research model that examines the user experience and purchase intentions of consumers of fresh agricultural goods in the context of live-streaming marketing. The study used PLS-SEM to analyse the correlation between the variables. It also incorporates consumer trust and perceived risk as mediating factors to provide more explanation. This research offers both theoretical and empirical evidence to assist the growth of the live-streaming sector and improve its conversion rate in live-streaming marketing transactions.

Information security has become crucial for any organization due to a large amount of data handled daily and the need to protect it from possible external and internal threats. Organic Law for the Protection of Personal Data (LOPDP) regulates in Ecuadorian territory the protection and exercise of the rights of individuals concerning the processing of their data. The objective of this research is to analyze information security (IS) standards that have adequate controls to ensure the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and NIST 800-53 r5 standards were selected because they are widely recognized in the IS field and provide solid guidance for the implementation of security controls. The resulting instrument, a tool with 64 controls, will allow evaluation of IS compliance within Ecuadorian institutions of higher education to mitigate IS risks and avoid sanctions by the national data protection authority.

The launch of ChatGPT has generated a wide debate in academia, high- lighting the concerns of those who perceive its use as a factor that can negatively affect the development of critical thinking in students and compromise their ethical integrity in research. The goal of this research is to determine the knowledge, usage, and perceptions of ChatGPT among university professors and students. This study was conducted with an action research approach. Firstly, a survey was administered to 133 students and 108 professors. Subsequently, a training experience was conducted with both groups, focusing on enhancing their skills to use ChatGPT in research report design. From the survey results, 48.10% of the professors and 43.6% of the students claimed to have a basic knowledge of ChatGPT, while 13.5% of the students and 18.5% of the professors said they did not know it. When analyzing the use of ChatGPT, 70.4% of the professors have never encouraged their students to use the tool, compared to 57.1% of the students who have never or rarely used it for academic purposes. In terms of perceptions, 43.6% of the students consider ChatGPT to be a beneficial tool, a perception shared by 47.2% of the professors who are in favor of promoting its use. After the training experience carried out, it was confirmed that the perception of the benefits of the tool improved. It is essential that Higher Education Institutions take appropriate measures to address this phenomenon, including faculty training and the establishment of institutional policies to guide the correct use of ChatGPT.

Stubble burning, a common agricultural practice in wheat and rice growing parts of India, has a substantial impact on greenhouse gas emissions, and air quality deterioration. Around 25-30% of the air quality problems faced in Delhi are related to stubble burning which is a major contributor to air pollution in northern India with AQI crossing over 350 in winters. This research suggests a comprehensive approach to tackle the negative effects of stubble burning that combines technological, legislative, and corporate initiatives. Based on empirical evidence confirming their efficiency in improving air quality, a biogas system is considered a feasible alternative to eliminate particulate matter and hazardous pollutants by eliminating stubble burning. Furthermore, the introduction of a stubble exchange program simplifies the collection and use of stubble by businesses. A business model is examined in which stubble is reused into paper, compost, and other products, supported by market demand data and an economic feasibility analysis. By using this multifaceted method, this will support for a long-term shift away from stubble burning, which will promote environmental conservation, economic growth, and societal well-being in agricultural communities.

Teachers' ability to use ICT is crucial in the modern conditions for the Ukrainian teachers. This is caused by many factors, including the long quarantine and transition to distance and blended learning in 2020-2022, and military actions caused by Russian aggression. In Ukraine, teachers are faced with the challenge of teaching online, as many schools cannot organize classroom learning, and part of the school infrastructure is destroyed. The digital skills of teachers today are extremely important and require constant updating due to the development of evolving technologies. For Ukrainian teachers, who felt not only the consequences after the long quarantine period of 2020-2022, but also the consequences of military actions that continue to this day, increasing the level of professional skills in the use of ICT is critical. To understand the specific needs of teachers, a public survey was conducted in 2022 and 2023 to identify needs and gaps in their digital skills. The study, based on a public survey of the needs and on the identification of the level of digital competence of Ukrainian teachers, allowed to make recommendations for professional development institutions and educational policymakers in view of the importance of developing digital competence in the context of lifelong learning.

This article discusses the theory of electromagnetic field emissions, the impact on safety, and measures EMF emissions. The electromagnetic field emission of the Dacia Spring electric vehicle was measured in various driving conditions, i.e. in city and highway traffic and during charging. Values such as electric field strength, magnetic field strength and power density were measured. Measurements have shown that the emission of electric field, magnetic field and power density increases with the engine load. The highest electric field intensity recorded during charging was 5 V/m. Compliance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health (2020) indicates that emissions do not exceed permissible levels, ensuring safety. However, temporary symptoms may occur in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle. Continuous monitoring and establishment of exposure guidelines are necessary to reduce the potential health risks associated with electromagnetic fields.

Driven by the rising popularity of chatbots such as ChatGPT, there is a budding line of research proposing guidelines for chatbot design, both in general and specifically for digital education. Nevertheless, few researchers have focused on providing conceptual tools to frame the chatbot design process itself. In this paper, we present a model to guide the design of educational chatbots. Our model aims to structure participatory design sessions in which different stakeholders (educators, developers, and learners) collaborate in the ideation of educational chatbots. To validate our model, we conducted an illustrative study in which 25 software design students took part in a simulated participatory design session. Students were divided into eight groups, assigned the role of one of the different stakeholders, and instructed to use our model. The results of our qualitative analysis suggest that our model helped structure the design process and align the contributions of the various stakeholders.

The growing request of renewable energies, in particular hydro power plants, in the last century led to a large number of built dams, which are used to store water in order to generate renewable energy. Due to their age of about 50 to 100 years many dams demand an extensive monitoring of the structures to ensure a safe operation as well as to identify potential problems as early as possible in order to minimize maintenance costs. Therefore, new strategies need to be explored to bring the surface analysis and documentation of large concrete dams to a "next level". One approach that has emerged is to use drones for visual inspection by capturing high-resolution images of the dam and using artificial intelligence to analyse the huge amount of data. The aim of the master thesis is to examine and develop a suitable method in particular a process that supports dam operators by a drone-based surface documentation and inspection with a suitable evaluating algorithm reducing the manual effort. High quality images of the recorded dams are necessary to identify abnormalities such as cracks, sintering, corrosion, bursting on the dam by automated image analysis using artificial intelligence. To provide a further processable 3D visualization of the dam as well as an overlay with the findings, a 3D model of the dam is generated by a photogrammetric image analysis.
