Currently, companies seek to automate their processes. It means the ability of technology to perform many of the tasks that humans perform daily in their workplace. This automatic function also controls, modifies, and clarifies the operational nature of the work and activities. This research presents a model for software development, which allows the rapid construction of corporate applications in the cloud (SaaS), using Java EE 11 technology, and based on agile development methodologies. For the design of this model, we consider appropriate processes and techniques on the software development stages. Particularly, on the analysis, construction, test, and deployment stages. For the development of this research, we studied several agile methodologies, but we only considered those that have the largest number of bibliographic sources such as SCRUM, XP (Extreme Programming), and other methodologies derived from Lean Development. Additionally, in each methodology, we analyze the principle of the agile manifesto to verify to what extent they comply with it. We also review the best practices and applicable design patterns in each methodology. In the end, we find common points between the different methodologies, which promote standardization in conjunction with the Java EE platform. As result, we present a solution based on three pillars for rapid development: (a) the automatic generation of initial code, (b) the use of predefined templates, and (c) the execution of automatic scripts. These three pillars are the basis for rapid development, with which the company may be able to support the development of business software in the cloud using Java EE technology, and with this, optimize costs, time, and resources.

Neglected tropical diseases affect more than 24% of the world's poorest populations. Some NTDs are diagnosed using kato-katz images;the kato-katz technique is the most commonly used diagnostic technique for soil-transmitted helminthiasis. The technique involves microscopic examination of sieved stool samples and tallying the parasitic eggs present. Kato-katz images present a unique and complex problem when it comes to image enhancement for feature detection. The foreground objects of interest (the parasite eggs) have features that match with the rest of the foreground objects in the image, making it difficult to distinguish and differentiate them. Hence sensible noise filtering and feature enhancement strategies are required for successful object identification and diagnosis. This paper will describe the results of studies on noise filtering and image enhancement of kato-katz images. Due to the 'noisy' and 'noise-like' nature of the images and the large number of objects in the images, typical noise filtering methods produce poor results. To our best knowledge, this is a pioneering work looking at image enhancement and noise filtering of kato-katz images. This work builds upon previous research by the authors concerning kato-katz images.

With the electric car manufacturing, it has been seen that the importance of location of electric vehicle station location in big cities. Multi criteria decision making techniques are used in investment selection and provide use among alternatives. COmbinative Distance-based ASsessment is one of the important multi criteria decision making techniques, it has been used since 2016 [1]. While human opinions can contain vagueness, this vagueness should also be considered in the investment evaluation. Neutrosophic sets are used to represent human thoughts through membership function and are defined with truthiness, indecision and falsity degrees which are independent values among themselves. Proportional neutrosophic sets are the one of the extensions of neutrosophic sets. In this study, COmbinative Distance-based ASsessment is extended with proportional neutrosophic sets, and the extended model is applied in the electric vehicle station location for Istanbul. Future and recommendations are given in last section.

The safety and security of individuals in crowded public places heavily rely on the detection of dangerous objects. Incorporating advanced technologies, like artificial intelligence, can significantly enhance the identification process, allowing security personnel to swiftly and effectively respond to potential threats. This research paper presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of two widely used object detection models, namely You Only Look Once (YOLO) and Detectron, in the context of baggage screening in public areas such as malls and hotels. This study aims to provide insightful recommendations for improving current detection systems by evaluating their performance and effectiveness. Ensuring public safety remains a paramount concern, and this research contributes to advancing the capabilities of existing security measures, ultimately enhancing public safety in crowded public places.

Computerized cognitive training (CCT) as a non-invasive method for stimulating functional brain activity and neuroplasticity processes, is a rapidly developing scientific field at the intersection of information technologies and healthcare. The results of this intervention can be successfully translated into practical application in clinical area and personalized medicine. The basis of CCT is software for stimulating cognitive processes in order to improve their performance. The level of interest in CCT has been growing faster than other areas of rehabilitation aimed at healthy aging. This is likely due to the increasing evidence of effectiveness, the relative complexity of assessment and data transfer mechanisms, and the availability of such systems on a variety of platforms. This paper reports on the state-of-the-art of research on CCT aimed at preventing cognitive impairment. Our scientific purpose is to highlight the current scientific evidence in this area and support the integration of IT research into clinical practice, in particular to explore the potential of CCT as a promising therapeutic tool in the paradigm of successful aging and prevention of cognitive impairment progression. The analysis suggests that this intervention improves global cognitive function in patients with early Alzheimer's disease, mild cognitive impairment and during normal aging, but new studies with comparable protocols are needed to quantify the effectiveness of CCT in preventing long-term cognitive decline. #CSOC1120.

In remote data collection from sampling stations, a vehicle must be within sufficient distance from a particular station for a predefined minimal time to retrieve required data from the site. The planning task is to find a cost-efficient data collection plan to retrieve data from all the stations. For a fixed-wing aerial vehicle flying with a constant forward velocity, the problem is to determine the shortest feasible path that visits every sensing site and ensure the vehicle is within a reliable communication distance from the station for a sufficient period. We propose to formulate the planning problem as a variant of the Close Enough Dubins Traveling Salesman Problem with Time Constraints (CEDTSP-TC) that is heuristically solved by unsupervised learning of the Growing Self-Organizing Array (GSOA) modified to address the constrained minimal data retrieving time. The proposed method is compared with a baseline based on a sampling-based decoupled approach, and the results support the feasibility of both proposed solvers in random instances.

Previous research has highlighted that AI tends to contribute to bias and the marginalisation of minority groups. This paper will focus on Artificial Intelligence Tools in Education (AITED) equality and equity in the context of nation-states in the European Union, with examples from Finland. To avoid reproducing discrimination in AITED is a basic aim enforced by the law both on EU level and on national levels in EU. So far, the discussion focuses mostly on how to decrease bias and discrimination in AI, but in this paper, we aim further and introducing the idea of affirmative measures actively promoting equality and equity. The research question for this paper is: What existing methods could help us to shape more equal and affirmative AITED? We find that promoting equality and equity instead of just avoiding discrimination takes us towards affirmative rights for minorities. In this paper, we find that there is a need to engage representatives for minorities and a minority/non-discrimination expert while shaping the AITED and to create an inclusive milieu for them. We discuss the urge to use a language that specifies each minority, and we look at the difference between non-discrimination and affirmative rights for minorities. Shaping more equal AITED could also be promoted by using the WILPF, Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, tool from Political EconomicAnalyses and Critical Race Theory. Introducing datasheets that accompany every data set seems also beneficial for more equal AITED.

The 2024 Indonesian election is very important for Indonesia's future toward a Golden Indonesia 2045. Apart from that, the 2024 election will present new president-vice-president candidates. None of them was present as incumbents. Electoral political participation is very strategic for Indonesia, which has a large population, namely 276 million in 2022. Among the Indonesian population are millennials who are expected to take part in political communication as a form of political participation. Political communication that needs attention is tolerance for differences and diversity. Difference and diversity are the birth mother of Indonesia which was proclaimed by the founding fathers of the nation. Activities by communicating political tolerance, it is hoped that the public can respect each other, respect, and allow differences in choices, whether religious, school, mate, or political choices. In the 2024 elections, political communication regarding tolerance is important because of the experience in the 2014 and 2019 elections between supporters of the presidential and vice-presidential candidates, giving rise to the idiom "Cebong" for supporters of Jokowi-Makruf Amin, and "Kampret" for supporters of Prabowo-Sandiaga Uno. This is where millennials are important in the era of digital democracy where the use of social media and electronic media is very important. This article uses a political communication approach in analysis, so that political events are seen in relation to one event and another as a social series.

Data-driven decision-making processes are pervasive in various domains, yet the inherent uncertainties within observational and measurement data can lead to misleading outcomes, particularly in portfolio selection where randomness may seem ambiguous. While existing methodologies recognize the significance of data preprocessing in managing uncertainties such as fuzziness and randomness, a systematic framework to effectively address these challenges is currently lacking. This study aims to bridge this gap by presenting a comprehensive framework tailored to efficiently handle uncertainty during the preprocessing stage. The proposed framework not only acknowledges the importance of data preprocessing but also offers a systematic approach to processing fuzzy random data, thus providing a robust foundation for portfolio selection algorithms. Leveraging fuzzy integers to manage fuzziness and probability distributions to address randomness, our methodology ensures the construction of reliable portfolio selection strategies. The main objective is to optimize selection based on industrial production, effectively managing uncertainty in traditional portfolio selection models. In this proposed approach, fuzziness is handled using fuzzy numbers, and randomness is addressed through probability distributions. The efficacy of this approach is demonstrated in agricultural planning, evaluating five distinct industrial production types: Agriculture, Mining, Manufacturing, Electricity, and Water. The findings underscore the effectiveness of the proposed methodology in managing uncertainties, reducing errors in model development stages, and providing a robust framework for optimal portfolio selection tailored to industrial production contexts, thereby enhancing decision-making processes in uncertain environments.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have emerged as valuable tools in precision agriculture due to their ability to provide timely and detailed information over large agricultural areas. In this sense, this work aims to evaluate the semi-autonomous navigation capacity of a multirotor UAV when applied in the field of precision agriculture. For this, a small aircraft is used to identify and track a set of fiducial markers (Ar Track Alvar) in an environment that simulates inspections of insect traps in olive groves. The purpose of this marker is to provide a visual reference point for the drone's navigation system. Once the Ar Track Alvar marker is detected, the robot will receive navigation information based on the marker's position to approach the specific trap. The experimental setup evaluated the computer vision algorithm applied to the UAV to make it recognize the Ar Track Alvar marker and then reach the trap efficiently. Experimental tests were conducted in a indoor and outdoor environment using DJI Tello. The results demonstrated the feasibility of applying these fiducial markers as a solution for the UAV's navigation in this proposed scenario.
