This paper presents our implantation of project-based learning (PBL) in our pedagogy in process engineering with two approaches, experimental one with process pilots and simulation one with ProsimPlus3 Software. The objective is for each unit operation at the laboratory process scale, we integrate a digital simulation twin with industrial software that allows to build a process model and then simulate it using complex calculations and thermodynamic models to optimize design and improve energy consumption. The study takes place in the Mass and Energy Transfer course with 167 graduate students' cohort. The developed project is based on simulation of an industrial unit containing extraction and distillation columns. Our purpose is to improve the acquisition of design skills using simulation as part of industry 4.0. Through students' survey, using 4-Point Likert Scale, evaluating the impact of this approach on process engineering learning, the results show that PBL promotes students' motivation and improves their critical thinking skills. In addition, students have acquired better technical training as well as developing their transversal skills as communication and teamwork.

The main goal of this work is to develop a method to monitor the emotional state of students and teachers during the study process based on voice and facial expressions, that can be applied in a smart learning environment. In this paper we create a multimodal emotion detection model based on voice and facial expression features using convolutional neural network (CNN) models. We describe the implementation of the created emotion detection model into the learning process as a web application to monitor the emotional state of students and teachers in a smart learning environment. In this work we compare three types of emotion detection models: models based on audio and facial features separately and for both features taken together and test the performance of these models in the simulation of study process. To evaluate and analyze the models' performances k-fold cross-validation is applied and classification accuracy, weighted F1 score, and confusionmatrix are computed. The application developed in this study allows to identify the overall emotional background of the learning environment, determine the emotional state of students and academic staff during the learning process in near real-time.

The study aims to clarify the value of auditing economic units and how it can be measured, which is one of the most important challenges to matching the Value Relevance of Accounting Information. The problem of the study was identified with questions that revolve around the extent to which it is possible to measure the value of auditing in Iraqi economic units and the extent to which the value of auditing affects the adequacy of accounting information. Through reviewing the studies discussing this topic, it was found that auditing can provide value through the performance of the auditor and adding value to the economic unit subject to audit. The study recommended the need to study the ituational factors of auditing, whether external or internal, that affect the value of the audit, which would generate the highest value for the consumer of this service through the situational leadership methods of auditing that affect the value obtained by the economic unit subject to auditing, which is called the value of auditing and it is one of the modern topics in the field of audit research. In addition, the results reached will contribute to explaining the value of the audit, that is, the benefit obtained by the economic unit subject to audit and its ability to influence the Value Relevance of Accounting Information and the possibility of enhancing it in the local environment.

In programming courses, ethics needs to be maintained by informing students about the matter and penalize those who do unethical acts. We developed an assessment submission system that reminded students about programming ethics each time a program is submitted;the program will be compared with other programs and similarity reports will be generated. The system is featured with three game elements: points, badges, and leaderboard. Our previous study found that students with the gamification appeared to be more aware about programming ethics, experienced less time pressure, and engaged more to the system. We plan to further develop the gamification but there is a need to confirm whether students were actually motivated by our game mechanics. Our questionnaire survey involving 221 computing students confirmed that they were motivated by the game mechanics, especially game points and game leaderboard. Students with more programming experience were more motivated by the gamification.

This paper presents the implementation of an illuminance meter based on the 8-channel AS7341 sensor in conjunction with the ESP32 board. The sensor mounted on a SoC board can be implemented as an illuminance meter under the conditions specified. The results obtained are compared with the Gossen illuminance meter following the distance photometry, fitting curves for 11 illuminance levels and 4 positions to calculate the coefficient of determination for all distances and supply voltages. These results determine that the cubic polynomial interpolation technique is suitable to form the electromagnetic spectrum of the radiation source. After the implementation of the experimental scheme, it was found that the correction factor is almost constant for the eleven illuminances obtained by the prototype. The uncertainty of the equipment was calculated with the values of each intensity and distance, obtaining a constant. Therefore, the experimental scheme tested has an uncertainty of 12% regardless of the distance and illumination level parameters. The repeatability of the equipment is the major source of uncertainty. Abetter fixation of the distances and elements of prototype can reduce this value. After the development of the experimental work, it was determined that the AS7341 sensor mounted on a SoC board is a reliable illuminance meter.

The purpose of our presentation is to provide insight to the characteristics of students studying in vocational training in Hungary. Our basic finding is that Generation Z students have different attitudes and expectations than their teachers. People born between 1996 and 2012 are considered members of Generation Z. Some of the members of this generation are still in school, and some are already young adults. Children of the digital age grew up in the online world, in a cultural space defined by social media. They used smartphones and tablets in their teenage years. They spend several hours a day using smart devices, and their media consumption is based on smartphones. Generation Z is apostrophized in the literature as the "lost generation" because they spend most of their time in "multitasking" mode, the clear consequence of which is a decrease in attentionconcentration [1]. However, the digital world does not only affect cognitive abilities, but also influences personality development. The narcissistic distortion of personality is a characteristic problem of generation Z [2]. Various computer games and media materials found on the Internet lead to the relativity of moral values, the deformity of the formation of self-image, and the lack of empathy. Research has established that the emotional intelligence of students of Generation Z is less developed compared to previous generations. The aim of this study was the design and evaluation of an Augmented Reality (AR) textbook for the teaching of History to primary school students. The contents of the AR textbook were designed via a review of the literature, study of school textbooks and curricula regarding the subject of History, and opinions of experienced teachers. After being evaluated for usability and content by teachers and students in a pilot study, the final version of the AR textbook was evaluated by 60 teachers by examining its acceptance. Results indicated that future use of the AR textbook by teachers was dependent on them perceiving it to be useful in their teaching, possess greater advantages compared to other technologies, and feature conditions facilitating its use. The AR textbook was implemented in real learning conditions, where 65 students expressed positive perceptions regarding it, as well as their desire to use it again in the future. The factors that affected the use of the AR textbook were technical problems related to tablets and the Internet. On the contrary, students' collaboration in groups and teachers' positive attitudes toward digital technologies and AR in education contributed to the successful implementation of the AR textbook in the classroom.

This study explores the impact of occupational stress on the family dynamics of Mental Health Professionals (MHPs) in India. Through a quantitative correlational design, the study analyzes 260 MHP responses to understand the relationship between professional stress, family functioning, stigma towards occupational stress, and family-supportive supervisory behavior. Results indicate that higher professional stress correlates with increased stigma and poorer family functioning, but family-supportive supervisory behavior can moderate these effects. Thus, emphasizing the importance of enhancing workplace supports and reducing stigma to improve MHPs' work-life balance, contributing to the literature on work-family spillover.

The proposed application tries to provide advanced technological support to various distant collaboration activities, especially in the area of e-learning. It focusses on interactive communication features that can significantly reduce the distance between the persons participating in a web conference. Recently, multiple applications of machine learning have been introduced. They include various possibilities arising when image analysis methods are applied to, broadly understood, video streams. In this context, a novel tool, developed for academic educators to enhance the teaching process by automating, summarizing, and offering prompt feedback on conducting lectures, has been developed. The implemented prototype utilizes machine learning-based techniques to recognise selected didactic and behavioural teachers' features within lecture video recordings. Specifically, users (teachers) can upload their lecture videos, which are preprocessed and analysed using machine learning models. Next, users can view summaries of recognized didactic features through interactive charts and tables. Additionally, stored ML-based prediction results support comparisons between lectures based on their didactic content. In the developed application text-based models trained on lecture transcriptions, with enhancements to the transcription quality, by adopting an automatic speech recognition solution are applied. Furthermore, the system offers flexibility for (future) integration of new/additional machine-learning models and software modules for image and video analysis.
