Wikipedia contains a large amount of information distributed on many web pages and in several languages. As for a particular topic, the same thing happens, there is a lot of information on the same topic, and it is distributed on many web pages. When you need to know the number of elements of a nominal categorical variable or to count the elements of a category that are distributed in many wikidata web pages, then there is a difficulty, and you need to apply machine learning techniques. With Graph Machine learning, you can harness the power of representational learning and apply it to data extracted from wikidata, using graphs to find underlying structural similarities effectively and efficiently. In addition, the graphs provide us with an additional dimension to analyze the data. In this scientific article, the methodology to reach that goal is studied, and a particular topic has been taken to apply this methodology, and obtain the answers. The theme is "Search for similar Italian painters with their similar paintings in terms of material used and genre of art that are in museums around the world."

This paper presents results and describes a solution and techniques allowing for transformation of highly detailed real world maps into simpler maps for using in 3D mobile games applications running on medium and low computing power devices. This approach is especially interesting for 3D apps developers focusing on real world maps that can be implemented in games like tycoons, strategies or geolocation type. The obtained results show possibility of achieving good compromise between level of details extracted from original maps and high performance of realtime 3D graphics generated on mobile device.

We present preliminary research on the use of Virtual Reality (VR) technology to measure finger range of motion to support the diagnosis and rehabilitation of hand diseases. The use of VR technology could make it possible to reliably store and quantify the data, which could be crucial in preclinical diagnosis and in the development of rehabilitation programs. The method is based on analyzing the position of the finger phalanges as seen in virtual reality. Using a VR application created in Unity, the movement of the phalanges of the hand was transferred to a block model for the DIP, PIP, and MCP joints. The results indicate that the technology-based method could be a promising alternative to traditional methods of measuring range of motion. The next stage of work will be to extend the application to the remaining fingers and validate the measurements using a glove with embedded inertia sensors. This approach could significantly affect the quality of diagnosis and rehabilitation of patients with hand movement disorders, opening up new research opportunities.

This paper proposes an integer linear program for joint and simultaneous scheduling of production and predictive maintenance tasks based on degradation prediction. The objective is to find a scheduling scheme that minimizes the total execution time while guaranteeing that the state of the machines is maintained below a predefined degradation threshold. Experiments are performed on randomly generated instances. The first results justify the interest of this approach from the production and maintenance cost points of view.

Since creating universally capable robots is challenging for a single manufacturer, a diverse fleet of robots from various manufacturers is utilized. However, these heterogeneous fleets encounter communication and interoperability issues. As a result, there is a growing need for a standardized interface that is capable of communicating, controlling and managing a diverse fleet without these interoperability issues. This paper presents a translation software module capable of controlling an autonomous mobile robot and communicating with a ROS-based robot fleet manager using the VDA5050 Standard and exchanging information via the MQTT communication protocol, aiming at flexibility and control across different robot brands. The effectiveness of the software in controlling a mobile robot via the VDA5050 standard was demonstrated by the results. It accurately analysed data from the Robot Fleet Manager, converted it into VDA 5050 JSON messages and skilfully translated it back into ROS messages. The robot's behavior remained consistent before and after the VDA5050 implementation.

Marine growth impacts the stability and integrity of offshore structures, while simultaneously preventing inspection procedures. In consequence, companies need to employ specialists that manually assess each impacted part of the structure. Due to harsh sub-sea environments, acquiring large quantities of quality underwater data becomes difficult. To mitigate these challenges a new data augmentation algorithm is proposed that generates new images by performing localized crops on regions of interest from the original data, expanding the total size of the dataset approximately 6 times. This research also proposes a learning-based algorithm capable of automatically delineating marine growth in underwater images, achieving up to 0.389 IoU and 0.508 Dice Loss. Advances in this area contribute for reducing the manual labour necessary to schedule maintenance operations in man-made submerged structures, while increasing the reliability and automation of the process.

Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) is an emerging concept aimed at fulfilling the demands of low-latency and highly reliable applications in vehicular networks. Computation offloading from vehicles to MEC servers allows for the execution of computation-intensive and time-sensitive applications. However, the resources available in MEC servers are not limitless. To achieve optimal performance, it is necessary for vehicles to make real-time decisions regarding their task offloading strategies, considering the dynamic network environment. A new approach is presented in this paper by proposing a multi-user non-cooperative computational offloading game within vehicular MEC networks. The game adjusts the offloading probability for each vehicle, based on factors such as the distance between the MEC and vehicles, communication model, and the competition for MEC resources among multiple vehicles. Furthermore, a best-response learning algorithm is assigned based on the computational offloading game. It aims to maximize each vehicle's utility and guarantees convergence to a unique equilibrium under a set of conditions. To validate the effectiveness and performance of the proposed approach, a series of experiments are conducted.

The information system projects (ISPs) are experiencing a higher failure rate because ISP team members are having poor individual performance which result in poor ISP team performance. ISP team is failing to become high performing ISP teams. The poor ISP team performance results in ISP teams failing to meet their main objective of ensuring the success of ISPs. The poor performance results from poor job satisfaction of the members which makes the members of ISP team to have poor collaboration, teamwork, well-being, burnout, and less work engagement. The main purpose of the study was to evaluate the influence of ethical behavior on the job satisfaction of the members of ISP team. The researcher conducted a quantitative study using survey approach. The quantitative data was collected from the members of the ISP team using online structured questionnaire. The researcher performed quantitative data analysis using Smart PLS 4.0. The researcher performed partial least square-structured equation model (PLS-SEM) with path analysis technique. The results indicates ethical leadership, ethical climate, and ethical culture improves the job satisfaction of the members of ISP teams. The job satisfaction of the members of the ISP teams can be improved through ethical climate, ethical culture and ethical climate. The ethical leadership makes ISP team members to have improved ethical climate and ethical culture, and ethical climate is the driver for good ethical culture within ISP teams and among the individual members which result in ISP teams having good ethical behaviour.

Data from India's National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) show that crime rates are rising, which poses a serious threat to social safety and economic stability. Although overall crime rates have somewhat decreased, alarming increases in certain crimes underline the urgency of improving surveillance and security measures. To address this, there is a growing need for proactive, technologically advanced solutions. Surveillance cameras, widely deployed in crowded areas, offer a means to monitor real-time behaviour and identify abnormal or suspicious activities. This paper introduces a comprehensive framework for real-time crowd behaviour monitoring based on human activity recognition in surveillance videos, encompassing data capture, enhancement, feature extraction, models for abnormality detection, semantic interpretation, and alert systems. The framework also includes integration plans with existing crime databases and predictive analytics for more efficient law enforcement. The suggested approach ultimately shows potential in developing monitoring technologies, enhancing neighbourhood safety, and reducing changing security concerns.
