In the contemporary digital landscape, web scraping has emerged as an indispensable technique for extracting valuable data from the expansive World Wide Web. Literature reports various encouraging approaches for web scraping that are dependent on names of HTML elements and structure of webpages. However, such dependency makes the system rigid, inefficient and imposes a serious challenge on the accuracy particularly when the webpage changes, emphasizing the critical need for automation in the realm of E-commerce. This paper addresses the limitation of the rigid conventional methods by proposing an efficient approach to outperform even in the real-world scenario of dynamically and rapidly changing contents of the web page. The intelligent and versatile data extraction approach devised in this research employs use of a set of keywords which consistently endure on the webpage, ensuring independence from variable names or xpath. The approach proposed in this research is rigorously tested in a real-time industrial environment to extract the data from more than 20,000 orders and has given 100% accurate results despite the synthetically incorporated changes in the structure and the HTML elements. The proposed method is confirmed to be superior to the one developed using generative AI in terms of its dependency on the structure of the webpages and allows seamless and accurate data extraction, regardless of the changes in the webpages. This research study thus not only presents an innovative methodology for automated web scraping but also paves the way for future advancements ensuring businesses stay ahead in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Retail customers read through multitude of online product reviews to make confident purchase decisions. To automate this process, we explore and evaluate several state-of-the-art (SOTA) models for summarizing product reviews along three dimensions: a summary product verdict, pros, and cons. To improve the performance of summarization from a large number of reviews per product, we propose FARSum, an efficient solution that leverages review filtering based on review recency and customer feedback including review helpful vote and review rating in the first stage. To improve context generalization across product categories, we train a BART-based model on synthetic review summaries and fine tune the model using ground-truth summary labels. We demonstrate the competitive performance of our solution vis-a-vis other SOTA models using the ROUGE metrics.

Student success is a topic of extensive literature, given the importance it represents for educational institutions to be able to detect and act preventively on students who are at risk of not approving or withdrawing from their studies. Precisely, in higher education, student success can be measured by the successful graduation of students because if a university student fails to approve all the courses in their curriculum, they will not be able to access their degree. Higher education establishments maintain academic data repositories encompassing student records, grades, course enrollment, and scholarship allocations. Institutions leveraging Learning Management systems can integrate learning process data to predict student success through Learning Analytics methodologies. Past studies have correlated collegiate success with academic prowess evaluated via aptitude assessments or prior high school performance;our study extends this paradigm by incorporating socioeconomic variables. We contend that a cohort of students, despite possessing adequate academic aptitude, faces challenges leading to study withdrawal or non-completion. Our investigation focuses on the Salesian Technical University (UPS), a nonprofit private institution that employs a socioeconomic quintile system akin to the World Bank Group's classification, allotting scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our research uses correlation analyses among diverse academic, social, and economic variables to discern the most influential factors in predicting academic success. Leveraging these correlations, predictive models employ machine learning techniques. The culmination of our study reveals the identification of student cohorts at academic risk, often overlooked by traditional analytic approaches reliant solely on academic data.

In order to protect water resources, timely societal responses are required to address various forms of pressure, managing this exceptionally important natural resource sustainably. This involves the integrated management of both groundwater and surface water, including transitional and coastal waters. To maintain or restore the structure and function of water-related ecosystems and contribute to preventing water quality degradation and achieving environmental protection goals through sustainable water use, the Environmental Flow (EF) is determined. The Environmental Flow (EF) calculation was performed for the Small hydropower (SHP) Osanica profile (Osanica River) in accordance with the current legislative framework of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Additionally, several methods were considered following legal procedures in other countries such as France, Austria, the United States, Switzerland, and Croatia. EF was calculated for each method, and a comparative analysis of the results was conducted. Upon comparing the EF values, it is concluded that the EF value calculated using the methodology of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) aligns relatively well with the EF values obtained through the methods used in calculations in other countries.

The need to generate a digital participatory experience approach requires the adaptation of tourism to the automation of processes, these induce the digitalization and revolution of the immersive experience of tourists, through virtual reality, management of big data and artificial intelligence (AI).). It is therefore essential to analyze the AI to process opinions and interests of the visitors and determine the effectiveness of the interaction of the AI with the tourist. The use of methodologies and models such as safety and security, lean and agile, geo-referenced information systems, seek to articulate tourism products to the digital environment. The study applies an AI model with social interaction in cultural visiting sites, the results demonstrate the feasibility of analog conversion to a digital environment, presenting schemes and necessary means for the adoption and adaptation of cultural tourism to the digital world.

Aggregation functions can play a very important role in decision-making theory, and integrals based on fuzzy measures are one such example. Among the most famous are Sugeno and Choquet integrals. Also, from credibility theory comes a class of fuzzy measures, socalled credibility measures. This paper establishes some new properties of the c-credibility measure and the construction procedure of such a measure on a given set, based on the Extension theorem of credibility. Some generalizations of this measure can be used to define a new fuzzy integral based on it. We consider some properties of this integral, such as e.g. preservation of order and properties of additivity. Such integrals can serve as an aggregation of some measures of similarity of parts of an object, thus giving an answer as to whether the object under consideration is similar to another composed of parts of the same type. In some earlier works, the similarity of the images of two faces was analyzed with rega rds to the measurements of the appropriate parts. The efficiency of this method is compared with similar methods on selected image databases while varying the parameters that define the new integral.

High data bandwidth is vital for Smart Computing and Communications. Antennas operating in millimeter wave and microwave frequencies play a critical role in enabling high-speed data transmission in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The Dielectric Resonator Antenna (DRA) is favored for its lossless radiation characteristics, yet it has a limited bandwidth, around 3%, unsuitable for broader bandwidth needs. This article explores enhancing the Cylindrical DRA's bandwidth through stacked configurations, adjusting the upper CDRA's height while keeping the lower DRA constant. The study shows a single CDRA provides about 12.5% bandwidth, while the stacked configuration offers roughly 14.3%. Additionally, introducing an airgap increases the available bandwidth to about 17.15%. The article also discusses changes in resonant frequency, bandwidth, and resonant impedance resulting from CDRA height modifications. In summary, this research addresses the pressing need for higher wireless data bandwidth in Smart Computing and Communications using innovative antenna configurations and highlights their impact on performance metrics.

Real estate asset management demands specialized skills and knowledge for success, even though a large section of society makes real estate investment decisions at one point or the other. However, the traditional learning methods in real estate often lack adequate experiential and immersive learning scenarios that are observable in competitive real-world real estate decision situations. Consequently, many individuals fail to develop investment strategies in real estate, limiting their ability to make informed decisions. This research addresses this gap by introducing a board game to bridge these educational shortcomings in the real estate investment context. The board game offers players a simulated environment that immerses them in the complexities of real estate asset management, enabling them to make strategic decisions, optimise resources, and navigate challenges such as property acquisition, financing, tenant management, maintenance, and risk assessment. By conducting gameplay sessions and collecting participant feedback, this research evaluates the effectiveness of the board game in enhancing knowledge, skills, and understanding of real estate asset management concepts and investment strategy. Thematic analysis of pregame and postgame questionnaires reveals a substantial enhancement in participants' comprehension of real estate concepts through iterative discussions following the post-game session.

Most educators agree there is a strong positive correlation between student engagement and student success. However, there is a dearth of scholarship on the teaching modalities that best foster engagement. This study presents a comparison of students' behavioral engagement in an introductory statistics course taught with three distinct teaching modalities: traditional face-to-face, targeted flipped, and fully online. The study found that the fully online group had statistically significantly lower levels of student engagement than the students in the face-to-face group and the targeted flipped group, which had comparable levels of engagement. Further, the results indicated a large effect in the successful completion of out-of-class assignments for both the face-to-face and targeted flipped sections over the fully online section, and that a correlation exists between course delivery methods and student engagement.

In this paper, a novel method for ECG signal processing for cardiovascular disease classification using deep learning is proposed. The central element of the study is a new combined numerical filter specifically designed for ECG signal denoising. This filter, a unique fusion of Chebyshev, Butterworth, and Daubechies filters, has been optimized to effectively denoise the ECG signal while preserving its relevant features. This improvement in signal quality is critical for the successful classification of heart disease using advanced artificial intelligence (AI) techniques. The method has been specifically applied to the case of arrhythmias, where a significant improvement in signal quality has been demonstrated. The application of this filter by deep neural networks significantly improves the accuracy and reliability of cardiac abnormality detection and classification, especially in arrhythmia cases. The potential of combining advanced filtering techniques with deep learning for more accurate medical diagnosis is demonstrated, opening up new perspectives in the diagnosis and monitoring of cardiovascular diseases.
