ChatGPT is currently one of the most prevalent AI language models, which is constantly astounding its users with each update. It is powered with generative AI and built using a Large Language Model (LLM). ChatGPT demonstrated an exceptional ability to understand natural language whilst generating credible and coherent responses similar to humans. However, as an AI language model, ChatGPT analyses huge amounts of text and generates new text by finding relationships and patterns in the text, without actually understanding the meaning or context of the text, thus it lacks human intelligence. Additionally, it has several other limitations related to its development, training, AI model, intelligence, understanding, accuracy, credibility, accountability, transparency, consistency, privacy, security, ethics, and regulations. Each limitation of ChatGPT may not necessarily affect every user;however, it has some consequences for its users depending on the nature of its use and application area. This paper will critically analyse twenty-one limitations of ChatGPT in order to provide a detailed insight into each of its limitation and clarify any hype about it for its balanced study, therefore, users can determine the appropriateness or inappropriateness for its use.

The Occupational Safety and Health areas have been changing to address the human-machine interaction (HMI) in collaborative workplaces. As regard, the Preliminary Hazard Analysis sub-area must identify, monitor, and evaluate new risks which emerge from such interaction. Although the classical HAZOP method covers this matter, there are many ambiguities in the hazardous scenario descriptions. Thus, cyberphysical systems come into play to help using computer technologies including ontologies, but the approaches do not have an expressive ontology capable of evaluating the risks covering the hazardous and HMI contexts. Therefore, this work aims to propose an application ontology to evaluate risk situations in a collaborative environment, capable of describing all the entities and their relationships. The proposed ontology was evaluated in a simulated scenario, being able to model different hazardous situations in HMI collaborative environments, and supporting the detection and characterization of hazardous events based on the distance between machines and operators.

This study presents a transformative guide for Purbachal City, strategically integrating smart energy, infrastructure, and mobility solutions. The study selects PVpanels and converters through meticulous assessments and simulations, ensuring the efficacy of a solar energy system that boasts an annual production of 7,317.34 MWh. To foster resiliencewithin cities, the smart infrastructure plan suggests installing solar panels on streetlight poles and foot-over structures. Notably, the Type D Electric Bus is a key contributor to sustainable urban mobility as an alternative to conventional fossil fuel-powered buses. Economic viability, as demonstrated by the HOMER simulation with a low LCOE of 0.02 USD, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 11%, a Return on Investment (ROI) of 7.7%, and a simple payback period of 8.4 years. 84,479 tons of CO2 will be saved by implementing this system shows a significant environmental benefit. PVsyst simulation has been conducted to verify the result by HOMER. This meticulous strategy and comprehensive approach will position Purbachal City as a beacon of smart and sustainable urban development, aligning with global trends and fostering environmental responsibility, economic growth, and an enhanced quality of life.

Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) are increasingly used in intralogistic applications. To efficiently set up a multi-AMR system, numerous parameters such as plant layout, task distribution, dispatching, and pathfinding algorithms must be considered. Based on these characteristics, an appropriate number of AMRs must be selected and movement constraints, i.e., preferred directions of motion, must be established. In this paper, we propose an ant-colony inspired approach for generating movement constraints in the form of a weighted grid graph that minimize conflicts between AMRs. By analysing the system throughput in simulation, we also propose the optimal number of AMRs for a specific intralogistic problem. The proposed approach provides a more efficient and conflict-free movement strategy that ultimately improves the performance of multi-AMR systems.

Electrified railways represent one of the most sustainable means of transportation, especially when considering the adoption of Regenerative Substations (RSSs). However, power distribution and collection along these lines involve high investments, heavy maintenance costs and energy losses justified only by high traffic intensities. Also, the construction of overhead lines implies an impact that should not be compatible with constraints imposed by historically or environmentally sensitive sites. In this work, a power line model is proposed and coupled with a previously developed railway model, considering different substation scenarios, conductor sections, and train configurations to evaluate the energy efficiency within a case-study mission profile. The simulation results will help evaluate the effectiveness of extensive line electrification investments.

The demand for systems with artificial intelligence, such as multi-agent systems, is continuously growing. At the same time, there is a need for the development of tools for helping this area, ensuring better fault tolerance for the project, since these systems have characteristics that make the system non-deterministic and increase the difficulty in carrying out tests. To try to solve this problem, a mapping tool was developed that automatically generates a graphical model that can be used to identify test paths for a given multi-agent system. This tool takes as input an XML file from Moise(+), an organizational model for multi-agent systems, mapping it into a colored Petri net, a graphical and mathematical modeling tool. The resulting mapping is used to generate test cases, necessary for validating the Moise(+) model, being used as a guide when carrying out system tests. Automation makes the process faster and eliminates the possibility of human error.

The demand for advanced financial solutions has promoted the phenomenal growth of the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven finance industry. This article covers the progress of AI-based asset pricing. While conventional models created the framework for understanding asset risk and return, current advancements in AI and Machine Learning (ML) have made it feasible to build more complicated models that can evaluate enormous amounts of data, find trends, and improve investment methods. This work aims to perform a bibliometric study of asset pricing models powered by AI. This study analyzes 154 papers from the Scopus database using VOSviewer and shows a considerable rise in publishing during 2018. The study includes author impact, co-authorship networks, magazine participation, country contribution, and keyword co-occurrence. In terms of publications, the United States leads, demonstrating its strength in technology progress and financial area. The United Kingdom and China are closely following. To highlight authorship influence, we underscore the fact that a majority of authors contributed with only a single work. Co-citation research gives extra light on author cooperation practices. The keyword analysis shows the importance of "Machine learning" and "Financial markets," showing the academic community's strong desire to apply modern computing methods for financial data and market dynamics. The obtained insights are meant to serve as a guide for future study in the growing field of AI-driven asset pricing models, helping both scholars and practitioners.

In the field of Human Activity Recognition (HAR), segmenting sensor data streams is considered a crucial preprocessing task, typically relying on fixed-size windows. However, this approach presents two main challenges: the multi-class window problem caused by multiple activities within a fixed-size window and the fluctuation of prediction results due to noisy data and over-segmentation. The introduction of the DETR (Detection Transformer) model eliminates the need for sliding windows, simplifies the segmentation and recognition process, and masks the significant drawbacks of using sliding windows, potentially further enhancing recognition performance. This study aims to explore the feasibility of the DETR model in handling time-series data for activity recognition and segmentation tasks. By integrating the DETR model into the HAR domain, we propose a novel method for recognizing and segmenting activities in continuous time series. This method leverages the end-to-end nature of the DETR model, enabling simultaneous activity detection and segmentation, thereby improving algorithm efficiency. In the experimental section, we conducted extensive tests on several publicly available HAR datasets to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. These experimental results fully demonstrate the potential of the DETR model in human activity recognition and segmentation tasks.

This research studies the technology of designing an array module corresponding to a transceiver of a phased array radar to monitor space debris. The radar for monitoring space debris considered in this study uses the S-band in the frequency band, and the phased array radar system consists of a digital radar structure. It is difficult to digitize the process since the transmitter and receiver array module from which radar signals are emitted performs the function of amplifying with a high-power signal considering the operating distance of the radar. In this project, the arrangement module of the digital phased array radar, which uses a transmission and reception path in common in an efficient way, was proposed. In addition, an integrated cooling structure that can effectively cool the heat generated when applied to a phased array system was considered, and improving the weight issue of the system was also discussed. As a result, the transmission output of the single array module was 56 dBm or more, and the spread flatness was 0.5 dB under the maximum pulse width of 300 usec in the 2.9-3.2 GHz band. The maximum duty ratio was 10%, and the noise index of the receiver was 4 dB or less, and both were satisfactory.

The most common disruptions and emerging challenges that manufacturing systems frequently encounter include the arrival of new orders, last-minute order cancellations, unforeseen machine breakdowns, and alterations in due dates. To effectively respond to these challenges, production schedules are continually adjusted by implementing real-time rescheduling mechanisms that rely on up-to-the-minute data from the shop floor. In this paper we propose a dynamic process for simultaneous planing of production and predictive maintenance planning in a flexible job-shop environment using genetic algorithm. The proposes model leverages real-time information from Prognostics and Health Management modules to assess the health status of machines. The integration of predictive maintenance significantly reduces both the risk of machine breakdowns and maintenance cost, enhancing the robustness and efficiency of job shop scheduling in dynamic manufacturing environments.
