As digital transformation has grown significantly globally, all sectors are affected. The health sector is also concerned by the use of several forms of digitalization. Among the forms of digitalization in the health sector, we find telemedicine procedures. Our article seeks to study the situation of telemedicine as a form of digital transformation in a specific region, that of Fez-Meknes in Morocco. This issue has not been previously addressed in the region, knowing that it is of great magnitude. The results show that telemedicine is increasingly being used and could help patients access care more easily.

3D geometric modelling of thread turning processes is an important tool for studying the accuracy of the obtained screw surface. This is especially relevant in relation to the responsible drill-string tool-joints, the manufacture of which requires significant productivity. A study of the effect of high-performance double-edged cutters on the accuracy of one of the technologically most complex NC12 tool-joint threads proved the absolute suitability of the double-pointcutting insert for these purposes. The work also carried out 2D geometric modelling of the process of forming this thread, which, together with the algorithm for profiling tool-joint threads previously developed by the authors, actually confirmed the correlation of the results of the accuracy analysis of the profile obtained with the help of the developed models and the specified algorithm.

Neuropsychology is a science that studies the relationship between behavior, emotion and cognition and brain functioning. This science has been characterized by the use of traditional pencil and paper tools for its diagnosis and intervention processes;however, in recent years there has been a growing interest in including technological developments for the use of the clinician. In this article, we present a bibliometric review of 50,481 articles published in the research line of neuropsychology and technology. The analyses performed include the number of articles published per year, countries of greatest publication, journals with the greatest number of articles in this line of research, international research centers interested in the research topic, type of publication, the different types of disciplines and an analysis of the graphical construction of the verbal networks according to the keywords of the articles analyzed. The discussion analyzes the impact of technology on the development of neuropsychology and the future implications that arise in this line of research.

Diabetic retinopathy, an ocular complication associated with diabetes, is a major cause of vision loss if not treated early. This study aims to identify Diabetic Retinopathy using Convolutional Neural networks. The proposed Methodology consists of four phases: Obtaining the dataset, Preprocessing, Model Training and Evaluation. In the proposed method, DR detection is performed using the IDRID labeled retinal image dataset, implementing and training the pre-trained models VGG-19, ResNet-50 and Inception-V3. The results highlight that the VGG-19 model achieves remarkable performance with accuracy, precision and recall of 95.64%, 92.98% and 99.64% for binary classification. Although the performance achieved by the other models ResNet-50 and Inception-V3 show intermediate performance, they show lower accuracy, indicating difficulties in classification. In summary, VGG-19 stands out as an effective option to identify DR, while Inception-V3 and ResNet-50 present different performances, pointing out areas of improvement for future research. These results underline the relevance of CNN architectures in the detection of Diabetic Retinopathy. Despite certain limitations, such as unbalanced data, quality and availability of retinal images, the findings demonstrate the great ability of CNN models to contribute to the understanding and improvement of diagnostic methods in this medical area.

The rise of social media and the Internet has drastically changed the way consumers interact with brands. They have become more active consumers who are also more likely to provide feedback and recommendations. This interaction is referred to as eWOM, and it is one of the most vital sources of information for online shopping. The purpose of our study is to review the literature on the various factors that influence eWOM through a systematic literature review of current research between 2010 and 2022. It aims to identify the multiple antecedents and attributes of this interaction and to classify them based on their nature into two main categories, namely the attributes relating to the individual including those related to the communicator, to the receiver, and those related to the interaction between the two. The second category includes the attributes relating to the information. Our study attempts to provide a conceptual model project proposal based on our results of classification of antecedents and attributes that influence eWOM in online shopping for future potential corporate/academic research on this subject, as well as contribute to the advancement of our research about the online shopping experience and its impact on e-reputation.

The use of deep convolutional neural networks has recently been successful in several computer vision and pattern detection applications related to computer vision. An offline, manually written signature has been involved in financial frameworks, regulatory, and monetary applications for many years, and it remains one of the most fundamental biometrics. Although everything seems tough, it is a challenging task despite it all. There is currently an investigation to investigate the signature verification issue to find a solution. We have put forward a system for determining whether the signatures submitted are authentic or fake. The open-source dataset we use for training the algorithm and determining whether a signature is authentic or fake is obtained from the Internet. For the test, some of the samples are taken from the same dataset as a training set, while others are drawn from fresh authors whose signatures are not included in the training set. Our experiments are performed in such a way as to ensure that the results are accurate.

We present an uncertainty estimation model for algorithmic trading agents in financial markets. These agents utilise deep learning to analyse market data and identify trading opportunities. Our model allows for optimised trade execution by providing estimated uncertainty scores along with market predictions from deep learning models. Our model is tested in trading with the S&P 500 index. Experiments demonstrate that the estimated uncertainty correlates to prediction accuracy and increased profitability can be obtained with our proposed method.

Circular Manufacturing systems (CMS) have emerged as a paradigm for integrating disassembly and potential remanufacturing processes into factories. This is also a relevant topic for learning factories whereas studies indicate that limited concepts are available nowadays. Given that, the paper explores the integration of CMS principles as well as specific processes and system setups into learning factories. A methodological approach is introduced to facilitate the systematic development of CMS approaches for learning factories. The proposed approach is exemplarily applied in the Learning Factory of the University of Twente to test functionality and feasibility.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution (so-called Industry 4.0) has had a fast growth. A lot of companies are investing more and more money in digital transformation. One of the main trends is using sensors to optimize and enhance industrial processes, as a part of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Sometimes it would be interesting having an intermediate platform to perform testing prior to deploy the complete IoT ecosystem. This is particularly important in two cases: (i) small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to reduce the risks of errors and minimize the impact of their investment, and (ii) R+D+i, where it is needed to evaluate solutions and perform experiments in a controlled way. Atenea Lab is a software-based platform that allows simulating a wide range of realistic IoT scenarios. It permits testing solutions, performing experiments, and evolving the technology readiness level (TRL) of prototypes reducing costs and making it easier to knowledge transfer.

Intelligent systems are usually not able to adapt to humans but also show difficulties in adapting to varying task sequences, dynamic situations, and context information. This paper introduces a cognitive approach for a digital twin of the human that complements the digital twin of a technical system (e.g., robot) towards a holistic human-machine system. This cognitive digital twin anticipates dynamic situation understanding of the human in-the-loop, uses flexible task knowledge to simulate the human in the real world and integrates further context information. What internal models and mental representations are most relevant for a cognitive digital twin in dynamic interactive situations? The realization of the concept of a theory driven digital approach is further explained in two examples within different application domains. Potentials and research directions for interdisciplinary work are discussed.
