Today, demand is shifting to more customized products, which will lead to small batches, short lead times, and unique specifications. To remain competitive in this changing environment, manufacturers must improve their layout, productivity, responsiveness, flexibility, and quality. Each layout problem has its own unique characteristics. Among the tools currently available to researchers and companies to optimize production cycles, it is worth highlighting software for the processes' visualization and modeling. Simulation tools are used to connect all processes of the flexiblemanufacturing system into one intelligent system and analyze the production. Layouts are analyzed through computer simulations to verify the true potential of the facility and to find the most efficient long-term operating plan and the optimal structure to meet the increasing demands for customization, quick response, and overall quality, while reducing lead times. The production systems are complex systems that consists of many parts. Modeling a virtual copy of a physical system is quite a complex task and requires the availability of a large amount of information and a set of accurate models that adequately reflect the modeled reality. After a brief presentation of discrete event simulation, a methodology for analyzing and optimizing the production process and its application case is presented in this work within the Master Italy company process.

With the growth of infrastructural development, the demand for electricity has exponentially increased. An average human consumes about 14,000 to 7000 KWH of electrical energy alone per. To meet this demand, 75% electricity is generated from conventional resources like thermal, nuclear and hydro, and 15% electricity is generated from renewable resources like wind, solar and biomass. The 3/4 th portion of electricity is generated from non-renewable resources which cannot be produced. Hence it needs to be used with utmost care. Unavailability of electricity not only stops the digital cycle of the world but also disturbs individual life. The first and the biggest impact of unavailability of electricity is on the health sector. One example of such an impact is the outage in Mumbai on October 12, 2020 where the major grid failure caused nearly a full day outage in some regions of Mumbai. Hospitals in Mumbai struggled to keep essential patient services running to provide necessary treatments causing loss of lives. Though there are many reasons like standby consumption, poor insulation, poor infrastructure, etc., responsible for electricity wastage, one of the smallest and most ignored but important reason is human tendency of inefficient use of electricity. Hence, we propose an intelligent electricity optimization solution which takes advantage of already installed CCTV systems to detect the number of people present in an area with accuracy of 98.33% and thus accordingly takes immediate and accurate decisions to optimize the usage of required appliances.

This work aims to find roots of real-valued functions via p-fuzzy systems. The expression "p-fuzzy" arises from partial knowledge about a system that is modeled by a Fuzzy Rule-Based systems. In this paper, the Fuzzy Rule-Based System is considered to provide an approximation for the derivative of real-valued functions based solely on the function behavior, which is characterized by linguistic variables. The proposed method can be viewed as a modification of the classical Newton-Raphson method, where the derivative presented in the formula is replaced by the output produced by the Fuzzy Rule-Based System. The main advantage is to avoid the computation of the derivative of real-valued functions and deal only with linguistic variables. Some examples are given to show how the method works. Moreover, in these examples a brief comparison with the classical method is presented in order to observe which method provides a better approximation.

Autoregressive Moving Average (ARMA) is a simple linear model with memory that can be used for speech recognition problems. This is why, this paper utilized the derivation of ARMA model for the speech recognition. The flexibility of ARMA model helps in derivation of an accurate model that recognizes the pronunciation of letter B. The Generalized Partial Autocorrelation (GPAC) analysis has been used for the preliminary identification and the Maximum Likelihood Estimator (Levenberg-Marquardt) is used for the parameter estimations. Several models have been developed to recognize the letter B that are pronounced by a lady 30 times. The simplest model has been chosen at the end. The accuracy of the final model has been checked using chi(2) test.

A wireless system for energy equipment remote control in the Technical operation of fleet department laboratory of the National University << Odesa Maritime Academy >> was developed. An emergency diesel generator from the Kohler company, specially adapted for marine conditions, was used in the project. The main goal of the study was to determine the technical capabilities of the developed wireless remote control scheme, which was integrated into the automatic control system of the ship's emergency diesel generator. The work justified and proved the need to modernize the control system in conditions of full-scale war and to provide electricity during missile attacks, when the national energy company turns off the power in order to reduce the emergency failure of its equipment, which is capable of displaying the technological process in real time with the help of mobile devices. The developed structural scheme of the modernized system of monitoring and control of emergency diesel generator parameters was tested in laboratory conditions. The necessary equipment was also selected, in particular, a programmable logic controller with a built-in Web server from the Phoenix Contact company using the PLCNEXT ENGINEER software environment. The tests that were conducted proved that the selected equipment is able to effectively display in real time the processes occurring during the operation of the emergency diesel generator.

Hydraulic systems typically operate under harsh conditions, such as in the heavy industry and military domain. Early diagnosis of single or multiple faults is very important to keep the system in safe working conditions. To generate different faults, an exhaustive simulation stage is required before validating the study with an experimental setup. Therefore, in this study, an electrohydraulic system model was first created using the Matlab-Simscape hydraulic system library. After the simulation stage, a data-based fault diagnosis method was applied through certain statistical feature calculations using time, frequency, and time-based frequency of the data collected using the Diagnostic Feature Designer Toolbox under theMatlab program, which allows the use of all signal and data-based debugging, identification, and classification methods under the same platform. Based on the features ranked by the Diagnostic Feature Designer Toolbox, the best fault model fits were investigated by clustering with Fuzzy C-Means.

More than 50 years after the idea of information technology first surfaced in the field of technology, the first step in evaluating criminal laws is to assess the impact this revolution has had on daily life and, consequently, the criminal law that regulates and supervises everything. The immediate and direct safeguarding of the through its digital extension is the focus of the current work. The purpose of this effort is to investigate the relationship between criminal law and digital transformation. A thoughtful examination of the ideas and procedures that have been created recently about the defense of individual rightswill be suggested, considering the significant changes that the exponential rise of technology in daily life has brought with it for everyone. When it comes to protecting the legal assets mentioned above, the reviewed literature in the presentwork suggests thatwe must first reevaluate them from an innovation and informatics technology standpoint. Criminal law procedures evolve to reflect innovations and technological breakthroughs as society does. These amendments could be made to the procedures conceptually or practically.

Utilizing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) equipped with Convolutional Neural networks (CNNs) has become pivotal in revolutionizing crop monitoring. This synergy offers unparalleled advantages in precision agriculture by enabling real-time, high-resolution data collection and analysis. UAVs facilitate rapid and cost-effective aerial surveillance, capturing intricate details of crop health, pest infestations, and growth patterns. CNNs, a subset of deep learning, enhance image processing, allowing for automated and accurate identification of anomalies. This integration optimizes resource management, reduces environmental impact, and enhances overall crop yield predictions. The combination of UAVs and CNNs is a transformative approach, empowering farmers with actionable insights for informed decision-making in modern agriculture. The paper is part of the current trend of UAVs use in agriculture, with the main purpose of evaluating the results obtained for crop monitoring by training three different architectures of CNNs, namely the simple sequence, SqueezeNet and GoogleNet. The research was carried out on a number of four identified crops prevalent in the studied area and allows, based on the results obtained, to choose the most suitable variant of CNN taking into account training precision, classification accuracy, initial costs and in-site use.

This paper reports remarks formulated basing on simulation of orienting the robotic manipulator wrist-flange. Astandard 6R manipulator of a short reach, composed of the anthropomorphic arm and the spherical wrist was considered. First, numerical estimation of a ratio of a range of orienting limited by joint motion ranges to the unlimited range of orienting for a set of points distributed uniformly in the vertical plane was carried out. Next, the ratio was analyzed separately for 8 types of configurations of the 6R manipulator to investigate influence of the configuration type on its orienting capabilities. Finally, an exemplary algorithm of determination of close-to-uniform distribution of orientations for a particular case of a constantly horizontal y axis of the oriented frame was formulated as a combination of a pseudorandom initial placement and a heuristic correction. The second component of the algorithm was based on a mechanical analogy. Exemplary application of the formulated algorithm resulting in a scheduling of an orienting path appropriate for consequent setting the orientation of the wrist flange to carry out testing of some device attached to it during temporary rest of the manipulator was reported.

Federal State Educational Standards of Russia (FSES) determine 70% of the content of all school courses, including the computer science course for secondary school (age 14-16 years). One of the most important and difficult topics to master in a school computer science course is programming. The Federal State Educational Standard quite strictly defines the content of this topic: all schoolchildren in Russia, upon completion of the compulsory 9 years of schooling, must master all structured programming constructs, having learned to compose programs for controlling virtual robots in one of the graphical programming environments, and must also master standard algorithms for working with numerical arrays (maximum, arithmetic mean, sorting) in one of the six full-text programming languages prescribed by the standard. The list of approved languages includes both educational programming languages Pascal and the school algorithmic language with Russian vocabulary KuMir, as well as production programming languages Java Script and Python. Obviously, a programming course for future computer science teachers should give students stable skills in composing simple programs in at least one of the prescribed programming languages. And the task is to develop a methodology for teaching programming to students of pedagogical specialties, ensuring confident mastery of the basics of programming with minimal time and effort. This article proposes a solution to this problem by implementing a multilingual programming workshop with automated verification of the correctness of task completion. The proposed methodology was introduced at the Moscow Pedagogical State University in a one-year course (72 teaching hours) and has proven its applicability and success. A distinctive feature of the proposed methodology is the approach in which students perform an impressive number of programming tasks: in the annual course, students are given 500 tasks, of which at least 80% of the tasks must be comple
