'Empowering rural entrepreneurship in the digital age' aims to determine how rural entrepreneurs utilize social computing. Furthermore, this study wants to explore more deeply the role of social media among rural entrepreneurs. This study utilized a systematic literature review. Rural entrepreneurs can benefit from the digital revolution in many ways, including by preserving their social networks, surviving competitors, learning about the availability of products, providing services to customers, marketing their products online, selling products, getting timely payment from customers, providing valuable after-sales support, and more. But several factors, including a lack of technical expertise, inadequate accessibility of guidance from expert, a lack of family support, harassment on social networking sites like social media, etc., higher installation and maintenance costs, a traditional mindset that is resistant to change, poor management performance, etc., affect the use of technology in their enterprises. The implications of this work are both theoretical and applied. On a practical level, it offers rural communities the information they may use to boost their entrepreneurial endeavors, perhaps resulting in economic growth and better living conditions. Theoretical implications come from its expansion of the conversation on the relationship between digital innovation and socio-economic development in less urbanized areas and its contribution to understanding how technology, particularly social computing, might catalyze rural entrepreneurship.

Word prediction, also called language modeling, is one field of natural language processing that can help predict the next word. Next-word prediction technology has emerged as a crucial tool for enhancing text input efficiency and reducing spelling errors. Globally, people are spending a cumulative amount of time on their mobile devices, laptops, desktops, etc. for messaging, sending emails, banking, interacting through social media, and all other activities. It's necessary to cut down on the time spent typing through these devices. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of prior research in the field of word prediction, specifically focusing on the utilization of deep learning (DL), statistical approaches, and hybrid methodologies. The primary objective is to compare the outcomes achieved through these various techniques. This study concludes that the word prediction system can be categorized into four models, which are statistical, DL, pre-trained, and hybrid models, and concludes that the selection of an appropriate model for word prediction depends on several factors, such as the nature of the application, the availability of data, computational resources, and accuracy requirements.

This work proposes the use of IP network modeling platforms to study cyber-attacks. For the purpose of this work, the GNS3 platform is proposed to be used due to the range of advantages and functionalities it offers. In this work, a model of an IP network is created in which voice streams are exchanged (VoIP connections are established) between users. Kali Linux is used as the attacker because of its capabilities and tools it offers. The device under attack is the Asterisk Free PBX. It is subjected to various TCP flood attacks (TCP SYN, TCP FIN, and TCP RST). The goal is to check how Asterisk reacts when using the different TCP flood attacks and in which attack, the consequences will be the most severe. Ports 80 and 5060 are under attack. A characterization of the traffic and studying of the impact of the applied cyber-attacks on the exchanged voice streams during the attacks are done. Well-known traffic monitoring and delay measurement tools were used during the study.

This paper presents the results of a study regarding "toxicity" of Internet communication, which has become one of the priority research areas for modern applied linguistics. High-dimensional datasets are common for various real-world problems. Though these datasets contain useful information, they are hard to classify using a machine learning algorithm due to the curse of dimensionality. Feature selection is a significant machine learning concept that aims to generate optimal feature subsets from a high-dimensional feature space. In this project, we proposed a modified ant colony optimization (ACO) feature selection algorithm incorporating two new rules. The first rule modified the standard heuristic information gain measurement, while the second modified the pheromone update. The resultant feature subset generated by this modified ACO is fed into a k-nearest neighbor (KNN), and the resulting algorithm is called KACO. The performance of KACO was evaluated on five benchmark datasets, and the results were compared with KNN and KNN with sequential backward elimination (KNN&SBE) algorithms. The results show that KACO outperformed KNN, and KACO outperformed KNN&SBE in four datasets. The results also show that the global search method used in KACO can locate optimal feature subsets in high-dimensional feature space.

EmoBot is a novel chatbot that combines emotion identification into its design to improve its comprehension and respond to its users. EmoBot can adjust its communication style to improve user comprehension with its newfound emotional intelligence. When EmoBot identifies sad, fearful, astonished, or disgusted facial expressions, it reacts with customised explanations, illustrations, or prompts for further clarification. EmoBot ensures that users feel understood and supported throughout their encounter by using a dynamic approach. This leads to heightened user satisfaction as they feel understood and valued. EmoBot attempts to improve comprehension and provide explanations and examples by generating better responses when specific emotions are detected, and the prompts then provide responses specific to emotions that enhance user comprehension, making complex concepts more accessible. This comprehension also reflects an advanced level of conversational sophistication, contributing to a seamless and natural interaction. It could be utilised in education and customer service to provide guidance while also improving the user experience.

The current paper addresses the role of sustainable peacebuilding and the use of technology in the context of armed conflicts in international humanitarian law. The background of the study is rooted in the Charter of the United Nations, which prohibits the use of force in international relations, but acknowledges the need for norms to mitigate its impact through the responsible and good use of technology. The study aims to examine the application of technological advancement in international humanitarian law norms to mitigate armed conflicts and their consequences. The methodology employed in this study involves a review of relevant literature on international humanitarian law, armed conflicts, and technological progress. The research context is global, with a focus on European states and the European Union. The findings indicate that the application of good technology in international humanitarian law norms is crucial in preventing unnecessary violence and suffering in armed conflicts. The paper highlights the importance of responsible technological use and respecting international norms to lay the foundation for a peaceful resolution post-conflict. The implications of this study are significant, as utilizing good technology in respecting international humanitarian law can contribute to the minimization of armed conflicts and the promotion of lasting peace.

The advancement of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) is vastly being discovered and applied to several industries. AMR contributes to the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which focuses on the growth of human-interaction systems. However, it is safe to say that mobile robots work closely in real-time and under changing surroundings;this creates limitations that may affect the efficiency of the application. Object detection comes in two different architectures: Single-stage detector and Two-stage detector. This research presents the experimental results of the two-stage detector, namely the Faster Region-based Convolutional Neural Network (Faster R-CNN). The experiment is applied to the SODA10M dataset, which consists of 20,000 labelled images. Extensive experiments are performed with parameters tuning the model's configuration like labelling, iteration value, and model's baseline for optimal results. The detection model is evaluated using the standard model evaluator of Mean Average Precision (mAP) to study the object detection's accuracy. Overall findings achieve the highest mAP of 37.51%, which aligns with the original research of the dataset's developer. Nevertheless, this project has identified the experiment's limitations contributing to the accuracy value of imbalanced labelling, the training environment, and the dataset size.

Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) is a methodology that exploits system representation during the entire system life-cycle. The use of formal models has gained momentum in robotics engineering over the past few years. Models play a crucial role in robot design;they serve as the basis for achieving holistic properties, such as functional reliability or adaptive resilience, and facilitate the automated production of modules. We propose the use of formal conceptualizations beyond the engineering phase, providing accurate models that can be leveraged at runtime. This paper explores the use of Category Theory, a mathematical framework for describing abstractions, as a formal language to produce such robot models. To showcase its practical application, we present a concrete example based on the Marathon 2 experiment. Here, we illustrate the potential of formalizing systems-including their recovery mechanisms-which allows engineers to design more trustworthy autonomous robots. This, in turn, enhances their dependability and performance.

One of the key parameters in the gas turbine blade resource design stage is their long-term static strength analysis. Such analysis is crucial for various reasons, including studying anisotropic properties of single-crystal turbine blades composed of nickel heat-resistant alloys with different crystallographic orientations within a wide range of stresses and temperatures. To date, there is no universal methodology for assessing the durability of turbine blades. The existing approaches, documented in numerous literary sources, have both their pros and significant cons. The research, presented in this article, proposes a technique for evaluating the long-term static strength of single-crystal turbine blades. The authors' method involves deriving equations for the distribution of the Larson-Miller parameter using experimental data for various crystallographic orientations of turbine blades. These equations were then used to create a finite-element model demonstrating the parameter's distribution in a cooled high-pressure turbine blade, using the ANSYS Workbench 19.2 software package. With the use of Larson-Miller parameter distribution calculations, the fracture time for each of the three specified crystallographic orientations of turbine blade model was investigated.
