Educational robotics is used not only in competitions but also in the regular educational process in schools. Teachers in different countries around the world include it according to the possibilities and limitations of the educational system. In Slovakia, it is most often included in the subject of computer science and therefore it is necessary for learners to be assessed in this subject unit as well. The question remains whether teachers know how to assess ER. And if not, can we advise them on appropriate assessment methods? Therefore, our research focused on the analysis of the current situation in Slovakia, where we carried out a survey questionnaire, the results of which were published last year, and subsequently conducted face to face interviews with selected teachers. These interviews were qualitatively processed. The results point to the findings that teachers reflect a lack of standardized assessment criteria to help them assess the quality of the program and robot design. They perceive possible bias in the assessment and various technical problems in the execution of the activities. These and many other challenges affect the overall teaching and learning experience and therefore the extent to which the stated learning objectives are met.

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards represent one of the most important frameworks for sustainability reporting, ensuring that economic units measure and report their economic, environmental, and social performance. Applying these standards, especially in emerging markets such as Iraq, could significantly affect the value of economic units listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange (ISX). This research aims to know how much the economic units in the research sample apply and disclose the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. The results of the analytical research of the annual financial reports showed a variation in the relative commitment between units to the axis of general or comprehensive standards related to fundamental indicators, general disclosures, and management approaches. The same applies to the commitment of economic units to the economic, environmental, and social axes. Furthermore, this paper has shown a potential for sustainability reporting to represent an advantage for companies' economic units in a competitive market, thus contributing to attracting a wide range of investors and customers.

Constructive Alignment (CA) has become a well-established concept of Instructional Design in Higher Education. Even in Higher Engineering Education, teachers have begun adopting CA into their teaching. However, this is neither widespread as of yet nor done in a systematic manner. This holds especially true for laboratories as well as (partly-) digital ones. Many digital laboratories originated during the pandemic due to the pressure to change teaching almost immediately. These changes range from replacing practical laboratory work with videos of the work being done to conceptual and instructional redesigns of entire laboratories. With the oncoming trend of digital laboratories as well as of teaching, learning and industry 4.0, it is more important than ever to enable engineers to implement sound instructional frameworks such as CA of different types of laboratories when designing these emerging courses. This work in progress shows the current status of our efforts to create shorter and readily accessible materials and checklists concerning laboratory types and aligning intended learning outcomes, teaching and learning activities and assessment tasks to be used to create or redesign laboratories in engineering education. The contribution ends with a discussion on the effect hoped for as well as comments on future work.

The inclusion of coding and robotics in education can promote skill development to prepare students for the future. It remains unclear however why some students persist in their coding and robotics efforts while others fail. The current study explored the key aspects contributing to education students' persistence and the way they overcome certain challenges when engaging in coding and robotics. Employing a general qualitative approach, data collection involved students' programs, a reflective report, and a short video regarding their gaming activities. The study involved 20 postgraduate education students, enrolled in distance learning. Sixteen students consented to participate in the research over a period of three weeks. Students had to create their own game using the micro:bit environment, which they submitted as part of their assignment. Data were analyzed manually, and certain themes emerged. The results revealed that participants encountered challenges related to technical aspects and initial frustration. Moreover, students persisted in their efforts by maintaining a positive mind-set, using strategic problem-solving, and setting realistic milestones. The self-directed learning environment played a crucial role in promoting persistence by providing scaffolding to overcome challenges, promoting ownership of learning, encouraging students to find resources, and fostering enjoyment in coding and robotics.

As technology advances and the demand for STEM workers increases, libraries are evolving to meet the changing needs of their communities. One way they do this is by providing robotics education opportunities for children. However, there is limited research on robotics education in public libraries, and there is a lack of adequate evaluation methods for assessing the impact of informal STEM learning. This pilot study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of conducting summer robotics activities in UK public libraries and the questionnaire design used to assess children's interest in robotics, STEM and STEM careers. Over three weeks, eight robotics activities were conducted in Leeds Libraries, with eighty-one children aged between 6 and 13 from the HealthyHolidays Programme in Leeds participating. The results of the paired samples t-test showed that the children's interest in robotics and related careers significantly increased from the pre-test to the post-test. However, the robotics activity had little influence on children's STEM and STEM related career. This study contributes to the existing literature by highlighting the need for further research on robotics education in public libraries and the development of better questionnaires that can be well comprehended by primary students and better evaluate the impact of the informal learning experience. Nonetheless, this study shows that libraries can play a vital role in fostering technology literacy in communities.

In the present project, a CNC system was designed for a horizontal and circular positioner in the manufacture of printed circuits, which will serve to make electronic boards with greater precision where a referential, exploratory methodologywas used based on computerized systems that help to a more efficient control of the production system making and manufacturing. In addition, it will allow the attainment of greater control and precision of the tracks routing through the machines by numerical control this decreases the manufacturing time, another of the problems for which the research was developed is the use of ferric acids for the burning of the plate this is harmful since the students of the technical careers of the Vida Nueva University Institute nowadays continue to use the traditional method, this can cause direct effects on the skin and eyesight, if the substances are handled incorrectly. Giving a solution to the aforementioned problems, it was built a system capable of making electronic cards in less time and without the use of chemical agents using mechanical prototypes for circular and horizontal movement provided with a mobile metal table that rotates with the product and a mobile trolley composed of pinion-rack for the free movement of the tool for the machining and routing of the tracks which is mounted on two screws that move manually on the Z and Y axes.

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for educational systems to incorporate Remote Teaching and Learning (RTL) methods. However, the implementation of widespread RTL has faced challenges with adverse effects on student learning outcomes and mental health. This paper explores the use of telepresence robots (TPRs) as a solution to ensure educational continuity during disruptions. TPRs enable students who are unable to attend school physically to actively participate in classroom activities and interact with peers and teachers. This study examines students' perceptions of TPR use in the classroom and identifies factors to consider when organizing TPR workshops for students in grades 5-9. Workshops were conducted in three Estonian schools introducing TPRs to the students who had the opportunity to interact with and control the robots. Data collection involved questionnaires using Likert scale questions and focus group interviews with workshop facilitators. Results revealed students' evaluations of TPR use, including appropriateness for their own use, teacher use, and peer use. The findings contribute to understanding students' perceptions of TPRs and inform the organization of TPR workshops for educational purposes. Incorporating TPRs into educational practices can provide inclusive education ensuring educational continuity during emergency and routine disruptions. This research emphasizes the importance of students' interest and the need for appropriate implementation strategies to maximize the benefits of TPRs in education.

We present a decade's work in higher education and teaching subjects in Mathematics in what refers to critical and creative thinking (CCT) at a Portuguese University. Thus, this study aims to summarize and interconnect the contributions of cooperative work among teachers interested in fostering more systematic and intending to foster critical and creative thinking in Portuguese and in parallel with reflecting on their pedagogical practice. The research question: How have CCT practices in the authors' courses changed, driven by their participation in the cooperative work of their research group? The analysis was 3-folded 1) the learning methodologies, 2) the exploratory studies, and 3) the results of the projects. We did a narrative literature review of 17 papers and a book chapter using the three groups analyzing the theme in which (at least) one of the authors appeared. The results revealed that integrating into the cooperative group allowed the two teachers to transform aspects of their practices and contribute to training the students, preparing them for the changes in this century's daily life and labor market. Teaching using active learning strategies does not necessarily promote CCT development, but the change is still in progress. Professional learning communities are drivers for education.
