Database normalisation encompasses the process of arranging data in a recognised and structured way by increasing relations based on identified dependencies. Ineffective normalisation can lead to incompetent and inaccurate database systems. The worth of normalisation in improving and dealing with database systems is a topic of dispute in the studies of information systems. However, there is a dearth of exploration on the active teaching and learning aspects of database normalisation, principally on students' independent enthusiasm and learning success in grasping the essential concepts. Teaching and learning database systems, particularly for novel students, have been acknowledged as a contest in the field. Instructors face problems in shaping what and how to successfully explain this subject. A systematic review methodology was used to explore the approaches and pedagogies utilised in teaching and learning database normalisation. The analysis intended to categorise, choose, and critically assess appropriate studies to gather and analyse data. The preliminary results propose that various studies rely on online applications for teaching and learning database normalisation. However, most of these studies emphasise more on the procedure of normalisation itself rather than the fundamental concepts. This study highlights the quest for more research on teaching and learning database normalisation, with precise attention to understanding the conceptual aspects. The recommendation stresses the reputation of exploring the essential concepts of normalisation relatively merely focusing on the technical aspects.

After the pandemic, the learning environment surrounding students have changed dramatically in terms of technology, and there has been insufficient research on what kind of ICT environment high school students actually use to study and what kind of attitudes they have toward school and learning. The author conducted a nationwide online questionnaire survey on how high school students changed their learning methods and who (or what) do they trust in thinking about their learning and career path. The author found that there has been little progress in the informatization of education in schools, and that the use of ICT in pupils' learning was already widespread before pandemic. Schoolteachers are still trusted by students to some extent, however, they are not as trusted as cram school teachers. Twenty per cent of respondents trusted information from nonhuman sources. In terms of the types of people and things that students trust, pupils were categorized as school-oriented, relationship-oriented, rationality-oriented, nonhuman, and school-distrusting, revealing a picture of students that schools may not have envisaged before.

Artificial intelligence and blockchain are two transformational technologies that have radically converged in blockchain-integrated chatbots. The revolutionary combination of blockchain and chatbot capabilities is explored in depth in this paper, shining light on its potential to change user interactions, enhance security, and promote trust across a range of industries. Data security, transparency, and accountability issues that arise during chatbot interactions are addressed through blockchain integration. Blockchain reduces the risks related to errors, privacy invasion, and unethical acts by documenting interactions on an immutable and transparent ledger. The multiple advantages of blockchain-integrated chatbots are explored in this study, including enhanced data privacy, transparency, open transaction tracking, and automated dispute resolution. Real-world use cases also highlight the revolutionary potential of this confluence, notably in the context of food delivery services. This paper demonstrates how blockchain-integrated chatbots have the potential to transform the way companies interact with their customers, ensuring secure and reliable interactions in the digital age, through in-depth study and case studies.

The rapid increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) polluting the atmosphere induces global warming and climate change. This is detrimental to human health and their natural habitat. Thus, it is imperative to proffer measures in analyzing and predicting the emissions of CO2. This research suggests using an ensemble approach with fuzzy nearest neighbor, sequential minimal optimization, and logistic regression to predict global CO2 emissions. The K-means algorithm divides data into groups of similar and relevant patterns. Simulation findings show that the proposed model outperforms techniques such as multi-layer perceptron, fuzzy ownership nearest neighbor, and random forest. It also improves CO2 forecast accuracy.

In the current situation of intense global competition and rapid adaptation to new technological, economic and social challenges, junior engineers must be able to contribute to solving business problems in a relatively short period of time, and exhibit high capacities for continuous learning and adaptation in professional contexts. The Learning Factory is a promising approach to competence development. The Dual Learning Factory approach in the Process and Product Innovation Engineering curriculum of the IMH presented here allows for a systematic and learning-oriented design of engineering competencies by integrating conceptual knowledge and engineering skills in the context of a company. This article focuses on the classroom training part and the teaching-learning method modifications that have been made to develop engineering competencies in the students. Based on a project-based teaching approach, several STEM projects integrated into classroom teaching were designed and developed. The results are encouraging, although they show that there is a need for students to have opportunities to use scientific and technical skills over a long period of time.

In the ongoing effort to tackle losses within the low-voltage power distribution network, a critical necessity emerges: the development of robust methodologies for forecasting and assessing data acquired from low-voltage measurement points. These methodologies serve as indispensable inputs for addressing the over-arching challenge of minimizing grid losses. This paper presents a novel approach that leverages Quantum Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks for predicting power consumption data, alongside a Quantum Detector for identifying and categorizing anomalies within the power data collected from these measurement points. The chosen algorithm is applied to a dataset comprising power (P) readings obtained from a representative measurement point within the Ho Chi Minh City power grid. Through extensive evaluation of the forecasting and data classification performance, the efficacy and viability of the proposed methodology are demonstrated. These findings underscore its potential for seamless integration into grid analysis frameworks, thereby facilitating subsequent endeavors aimed at mitigating power losses effectively.

Human-Robot-Interaction (HRI) refers to the interaction between humans and robots, particularly in an industrial setting. Collaborative robots (cobots) play a crucial role in facilitating this collaboration. Their defining qualities are their capacity to forego complicated safety peripherals and facilitate adaptable integration into manufacturing and assembly procedures. Several methods and concepts already exist to seamlessly integrate cobots into companies' workflows, notably those of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Nonetheless, methodological approaches for integrating hybrid assembly systems in learning factories remain deficient, particularly regarding imparting fundamental knowledge in these domains and the practical implementation of HRI methods. Subsequently, this paper describes the application and extension of an established competency-based approach for implementing a learning factory environment that teaches the relevant fundamentals of HRI and methods for integrating collaborative robots. The approach is methodologically expanded, and the implementation of a socio-technical learning environment is described in detail to fulfil the afore-mentioned demands. Finally, the extended methodology is validated by deriving a socio-technical infrastructure for future HRI modules from previously defined competencies.

Although many work processes in industrial production are automated, human work continues to hold a significant role and substantially impacts overall production costs. To assess the efficiency of manual workflows, the widely adopted "Methods-Time Measurement" (MTM) analyses are employed. These analyses could also be performed using Virtual Reality (VR) to visualize and interact with a digital workplace. Currently, the assessment of the manual work processes in industry is carried out from experts thorough a manual transcription, which is error-prone and time-consuming. We introduce an algorithm for an automated transcription of manual work into a sequence of fundamental MTM motions. Utilizing data from user-attached trackers, the algorithm analyzes a worker's motion, segments it into basic motions, and calculates the corresponding "Time Measurement Units" (TMUs). In a user study with 30 participants, we tested our approach, and assessed it based on its consistency with MTM-codes manually transcribed by an expert. This automated evaluation of a workplace within a Virtual Environment reduces time and cost required for an MTM assessment.

In this paper, we present an evolution of the Vulcano Robotics Competition, designed to promote interest in robots with legs, where robots have to achieve goals on a structure that simulates the slope of a volcano. A rough, undulating surface creates an additional obstacle to their movement. This new challenge is more complex so some hardware adjustments have been made to adapt to the demands of the competition. The challenge was tested in the context of a robotics festival, assessing the programming and mechanical skills of the participants. Participants received a prototype robot from the organisation to assemble and program. A final survey presents some data on how participants enjoyed the challenge while assessing its degree of complexity.
