Mathematical multi-step word problems (MSTWP) have received a lot of research attention from academics and researchers in the past, and a variety of solutions have been offered. The main reason why students commonly fail with MSTWP is because of how the many components of an MSTWP interact to one another. According to the literature, the stage of the problem-solving process that involves creating the solution plane is the most challenging. Students require assistance in recognizing the semantic relationships between the problem's components and information organization to facilitate problem translation and solution in order to solve this issue. In order to help students learn how to resolve conflicts, we suggest in this work to rethink the MSTWP resolution technique by using a goal-driven approach during the making plan stage of the resolution process to assist student in learning how to effectively solve MSTWP.

The rapid growth of urbanization and the increasing complexity of global Supply Chains (SCs) have posed significant challenges to Urban Logistics (UL) and SC management (SCM) practices. In response to these challenges, this paper provides a literature overview of the convergence between sustainable ULs (SUL) and SC 4.0. To establish context, the study begins by examining the foundational concepts of SUL and SC 4.0, highlighting their individual contributions to environmental, economic, and social sustainability, as well as efficiency and competitiveness in modern SCs. Moreover, the review of literature reveals that recent advancements in digital technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Analytics (BDA), Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), have enabled the integration of sustainability principles into UL and SCM through SC 4.0 frameworks. As a result, this integration has led to enhanced visibility, traceability, real-time decision-making, and optimization of logistics operations, while simultaneously reducing environmental footprints. Furthermore, the paper examines the obstacles and difficulties that arise when implementing SUL within SC 4.0, including concerns about data security, infrastructure, and facilitating cooperation among stakeholders. This underscores the importance of a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach and outlines future research opportunities.

This paper has the goal verify what insights can be drawn from the relationship between intellectual capital and information technologies, in education. In fact, it is clear that there is an omission of the first in the second. These are only possible because, previously, there exists that one. And this importance can be seen in the design, development and use. It is the latter that is the most visible face of information technologies, in education. The most cited examples in the literature review are the Google Classroom platform (not used massively) and videos. The ultimate aim is to develop tools and platforms that facilitate teaching (by teachers) and learning (by students). It should be noted that they can be desktop and/or mobile. In the state-of-the-art, in the 21st century, it appears that research on the 2 topics, especially the second, has an embryonic development, with the use of complex models (UTAUT2 in Kumar and Bervell (2019)) that make it difficult its use, even if not research at all. What can be expected, in future developments of information technologies, in education, is to facilitate teaching, in terms of content available and in terms of reducing the distance at which it is taught.

This article entitled "Knowledge Management: A new business success factor for companies in southern Peru";Its main objective is to determine the entrepreneur's valuation of aspects related to knowledge management and if this management is fostered through the creation of new knowledge and its transmission. The research approach was qualitative, of a correlational scope and of a basic or pure type. Regarding the data collection technique and instrument, the interview and the interview guide were used, respectively. Being a qualitative investigation, it was decided to interview six managers of recognized companies in the city of Tacna according to specified inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Due to intensifying climate change impacts, landslides have become increasingly threatening in the Himalayan region, particularly in India's Kam andValley. This study addresses the pressing need for accurate landslide prediction models by leveraging advanced Landslide Monitoring systems (LMSs) and machine learning techniques. A significant challenge in developing these models is the class imbalance in soil movement data. Synthetic data generated by a Variational Autoencoder (VAE) is introduced to overcome this issue. Using VAE data, the study systematically compares various machine learning (ML) models, including Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), Convolutional Neural Network-Long Short-Term Memory (CNN-LSTM), Convolutional LSTM (Conv-LSTM), Encoder-Decoder LSTM, alongside the novel Multi-LSTM with a Random Forest (RF) model. The ML models were trained with and without synthetic data. The test data used in the study remained intact without the incorporation of synthetic data. The results showcase the substantial impact of synthetic data on enhancing model performance. Notably, the MultiLSTM-RF model, which integrates different LSTM architectures with an RF classifier, achieves remarkable accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score value improvements. Furthermore, incorporating antecedent rainfall data from the preceding three days enriches the understanding of landslide dynamics. This research significantly advances landslide prediction techniques in vulnerable regions. This research significantly advances landslide prediction techniques in vulnerable regions, with the Multi-LSTM-RF model achieving an accuracy of 98.25% and an F1 score of 0.736 in testing when incorporating synthetic data, highlighting its potential for disaster preparedness and response in landslide-prone areas.

This study explores the impact and ethical considerations associated with integrating ChatGPT, particularly versions 3.5 and 4.0, into higher education, with a focus on university students. Developed by OpenAI, ChatGPT has gained widespread popularity in academia, demonstrating positive effects on learning and teaching practices. However, its integration poses ethical concerns. Therefore, the research aims to assess ChatGPT's capabilities in addressing questions related to common ethical dimensions for university students, including document falsification, academic dishonesty, identity theft, and drugs. The study utilizes case studies, presenting ethical scenarios to ChatGPT and evaluating its responses. Methodologically, both ChatGPT 3.5 and 4.0 are tested, their performances compared, and implications for academia analyzed. Results indicate that ChatGPT 4 offers more comprehensive information than 3.5. While it generally provides coherent responses, there are instances, especially with specific phrasing, where it unintentionally introduces details that could foster unethical conduct among students, except for scenarios related to drugs. The findings contribute to the ongoing discourse on the ethical use of AI in education, offering insights for educators, administrators, and policymakers navigating the integration of such technologies into higher education settings.

Monitoring production processes, such as those in the chemical industry, involves several key aspects, including identifying unknown process phases, tracking their sequence and duration, and detecting anomalies that may occur within phases. As demonstrated in several industrial applications, the ability of Self-Organizing Maps (SOMs) to detect anomalies, identify and visualize process phases is highly beneficial for comprehensive monitoring and understanding of technical processes. This paper presents a hybrid unsupervised learning strategy (HULS) for monitoring complex industrial processes. Addressing the limitations of SOMs, especially in scenarios with unbalanced datasets and highly correlated process variables, HULS combines existing unsupervised learning techniques to address these challenges. Based on a laboratory batch process, the capabilities of the HULS concept for the detection of unknown process phases are evaluated in comparison to the standard SOM model.

The context of this work is the revitalization of indigenous languages in Peru. The main research question is what concrete measures can be observed in practice to revitalize the indigenous languages Quechua andMochica, in which contexts they occur, and what are the main motives of the actors involved. To this end, the current social and legal situation of indigenous languages in Peru is described, and their historical development is traced. Two languages have been deliberately chosen to understand the variety of problems and challenges faced by indigenous languages in Peru, given their extreme different language situations. The current threat situation in which many indigenous languages find themselves and the consequent need for more protection and revitalization make this topic a relevant research field within linguistics. The work is articulated in three parts. In the first part, the theoretical basics of language policy, multilingualism, and language revitalization are covered. In the second part, the language situation and historical development of language policy in Peru are explained. In the third part, exemplary revitalization aspirations for the Quechua and Mochica languages are shown.

Access control management systems play a crucial role in the infrastructure of cloud computing, relying on providing and managing access to computer resources. These systems employ strict access control procedures to guarantee the security and privacy of data. Service providers have the authority to establish and implement access policies, giving individuals and entities certain permissions. This entails confirming user identities, assigning the proper rights, and keeping an eye on activity via tracking and evaluating. An overview of the access control concept is given in this study, with an emphasis on role-based access control. It provides a thorough explanation of this kind of access control system and presents a few recent examples of how this idea is being used in successful works.
