This research paper provides an in-depth analysis of the impact of meteorological factors on the regression of PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations and their correlation with SARS-COV-2 transmission in Peru, employing heteroscedasticity considerations. The findings of the study reveal significant OLS estimators and intercepts for both PM2.5 and PM10, with remarkable comparisons with previous research underlining the robustness of the developed models. In particular, regression models designed for different settings (rural, urban and industrial) highlight how PM10 concentrations are predictive of PM2.5 levels, with coefficients of determination exceeding those found in previous studies. In addition, the article uses the Kruskal-Wallis test and the Holm-Bonferroni method to demonstrate significant variations in particulate matter in different study areas, lending further credence to the comprehensive nature of the analysis performed. Given the rigorous quantitative analysis, the clear significance of the findings in multiple settings, and the contribution of the study to the understanding of the complex relationship between air pollution and virus transmission, this article is a valuable addition to the field. The detailed comparison with existing models, along with the innovative use of statistical methods to validate the results, positions this research as a significant advance in environmental science and public health. A regression equation between PM2.5 and PM10 was determined;in rural area with linear coefficient of 0.66105 mu g/m(3) and intercept of 5.57229 mu g/m(3), for urban it has a coefficient of 0. 672768 mu g/m(3) and intercept of 1.149877 mu g/m(3), and industrial a coefficient of 0.567541 mu g/m(3) and an intercept of 4.485924.

The development cadence of Deep Learning algorithms is extremely high, with the development of autonomous navigation systems and especially autonomous vehicles in the forefront. Growing environmental awareness has directed efforts toward the development of autonomous systems for the maintenance and preservation of forested areas. Unlike urban areas, available datasets on these environments are scarce and incomplete. In addition, the complex and unstructured nature of forested areas and the tedious labeling process lead to a high rate of mislabeling. Given the success that the use of synthetic data has had in model training, this work proposes an approach that helps overcome these limitations. The SynPhoRest simulator can generate photorealistic synthetic data in the form of RGB images, semantic segmentation maps, and depth maps from procedurally generated virtual forest environments. The system supports both manual and automatic extraction and can generate 100 sets of data in about an hour.

The importance of employee training in any industry cannot be overemphasised. However, many industries lack adequate employee training because organisations within the industries view investment in training as overarching. This study examines the effects of employee training in air cargo logistics in Nigeria to encourage commitment to proper and adequate training that enhances efficient delivery in the industry. The study applies Kirkpatrick's (1998) model to highlight the four levels of the model as effects of training in the air cargo logistics industry. A survey of 232 respondents with simple random sampling in administering a questionnaire for data collection was recorded. The study employed Structural Equation Modelling (SEM-PLS) to analyse the data. The result found that training enhances positive employee behaviour, learning, and reaction and results in efficient delivery in the air cargo logistics industry in Nigeria. The study concludes that organisations within the air cargo logistics industry must pay proper attention to investment in employee training since its effects will yield more profit to the industry through efficient delivery.

In this article, we'll outline a road transportation Internet of Things platform that enables real-time road flow data collection, adaptation, and encryption to enhance user experience, communicate in excellent quality at a bit rate appropriate for cloud storage, processing, and decision-making. The recommended approach entails compiling all the crucial road data, which include: the speed of movement, the geolocation of the vehicle, the vehicle picture, the detection of the license plate, the detection and recognition of the driver's face, as well as suspicious situations like telephone use, strange driving, failure to obey traffic signals, and so on. A relative QR code is produced by this solution. With the help of an advanced object recognition technology, our solution creates a relative QR code that contains all of the vehicle's data and ensures that it is appropriate for the car being recognized. The recommended approach demonstrates how psychovisual optimization tools affect watermarking coding quality in comparison with reference yields by SPIHT standard coder, how computational intelligence predicts lost data, and seeks to optimize platform data features in terms of CoAP payload time transportation duration, ECC encryption bandwidth storage and space occupation, and communication energy consumption to finally provide a high-quality and time/energy lossless watermarked content to enhance the security of the QR code during its transmission. To achieve these goals, the proposed system incorporates real-time data collection from the various nodes in the IoT network topology, data compression, synchronized handshaking between the cloud and the IoT nodes, and missing data prediction in the event of node failure to accomplish these aims.

The availability of two additional tunable parameters compared with Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controllers makes it possible to incorporate fractional-order (FO) integral/derivative actions. The selection of the optimization algorithm and objective function is important for tuning the fractional-order PID controller. This paper presents the formulation of the FOPID controller design as an optimization problem and its solution using four built-in algorithms in MATLAB. Each algorithm solves the optimization by minimizing two cost functions resulting eight sets of controller parameters. To overcome the sensitivity of algorithms to the initial and boundary values of the parameters, we considered nine different initial and boundary conditions. The proposed method considers the minimum of the optimal values obtained in each case. This provides globally-optimal FOPID controllers. To validate its efficiency, the proposed method uses a Twin Rotor Aerodynamic System (TRAS) as an example. Comparison with a nonlinear approach shows that the proposed approach ensures tracking with minimal and smooth control efforts.

This work introduces a human-robot interactive setup incorporating multiple 3D camera sensors and based on a cloud computing infrastructure. A software solution is proposed, utilizing a ROS environment, the PCL library, and the OpenNI tracker for processing RGBD camera data. To ensure safe collaboration and workspace sharing between humans and the UR5e robot, camera data is employed to generate a 3D occupancy map of the robot's work cell, virtually recreating its environment. The minimal distance between the robot and any obstacles, such as humans, is calculated, allowing for real-time adjustment of the robot's speed based on this distance. An autonomous object handover process, encompassing both human-to-robot and robot-to-human exchanges, is developed and implemented. Steps such as grasping confirmation and object grasping pose computation are managed using camera data and a skeleton tracker to determine the human hand's position within the work cell. The work cell is integrated with an industrial cloud solution, the Manufacturing Service Bus (MSB), enabling remote monitoring of the system state and data collection. A variant of the system leveraging remote computing through the MSB is also explored and assessed.

The subjects of study in the article are quality parameters, namely: geometric accuracy, roughness and shrinkage of holes in polymer composite materials (PCM) obtained by drilling. The study of quality indicators was performed with the help of drilling holes kinematic schemes in PCM. The methods used are the analysis of the quality indicators of PCM openings, the method of expert evaluations. The article deals with the analysis of the movement kinematics for the cutting wedge of the drill in relation to the placement of the PCM filler fibers. Experimental research was carried out on carbon fiber samples with 5 mm holes. Drilling was performed with different types of drills: spiral standard drills P6M5K6 and carbide drills with undercut cutting edges BK8. Measurements of accuracy, roughness, fluffiness and shrinkage of holes were carried out on Faro Fusion Arm, Arbus MP-7 devices and a Zeis Tvoxyp-450 scanning electron microscope. The following results were obtained. According to the analysis and synthesis, the existence of cyclic zones of cutting change, which affect the quality parameters for the machined surface of the holes, was established. The fractographic features of PCM fiber destruction after the drilling process are shown. It was found that when PCM is processed with P6M5K5 drills, the roughness of the holes is lower than when processed with BK8 drills. BK8 drills with an undercut cutting edge have an advantage over P6M5K5 drills. It has been proven that BK8 drills allow to increase strength in point joints of PCM parts by up to 20%. The dependence of the shrinkage for the hole in PCM on the cutting modes was experimentally confirmed. The results of the research are intended for a wide range of users who specialize in the mechanical processing of PCM when using innovative structural and multifunctional materials.

Industrial robots play a key role in modern manufacturing processes, contributing to increased efficiency, precision and productivity. However, the dynamic nature of robotic movements can cause vibrations that may impact performance and product quality. In this study, experimental analysis for the enhancement of the industrial robot tool path planning is implemented to get the initial knowledge of less robust robot configuration. To demonstrate the effect of different robotic configurations of the RoboDK path generation software, a Yaskawa Motoman HC10DTP industrial robot with an acceleration measurement setup was used to analyse the smoothness of the robot path. The information obtained is presented in the time and frequency domains and highlights key points such as mean square error and main frequencies in specific configurations.

We presentASR Bundestag, a dataset for automatic speech recognition in German, consisting of 610 h of aligned audio-transcript pairs for supervised training as well as 1,038 h of unlabeled audio snippets for self-supervised learning, based on raw audio data and transcriptions from plenary sessions and committee meetings of the German parliament. In addition, we discuss utilized approaches for the automated creation of speech datasets and assess the quality of the resulting dataset based on evaluations and finetuning of a pre-trained state of the art model. We make the dataset publicly available, including all subsets.

For the development of this study, the internet of things IoT concept was used, in the context of which a network of sensors was deployed within a rose crop that is planted in an area of 30,000m(2), which are covered under greenhouses. The crop is located at 2,900 m above sea level and, for a year and a half, humidity data, dew point data, temperature data and vapor pressure deficit VPD data were collected with the use of the sensor network. in such a way that a database of more than 49 million data was obtained that was used to contrast and analyze the data collected in the same period related to diseases and pests that can occur in rose production. The results show that there are levels of correlation that allow determining mechanisms for measuring environmental conditions in production to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the decision-making process for better crop management.
