Through a comprehensive study of the literature, this paper examines the fundamentals of digital resilience and the contribution of the Project Management Office (PMO) and adaptive capacity within organizations. The main objective was to identify the main dimensions, proximity, and convergence between project management and information generating center (PMO), information systems, and digital resilience. In addition, a bibliometric study was performed to identify the co-occurrences, dimensions, and cluster analysis. The results are presented in this article, and where 4 clusters were identified and at the end a conceptual framework is presented.

This paper focuses on monitoring online sentiments and opinions to enhance national security. Excessive emotions expressed online can potentially lead to threats like riots and civil unrest, which jeopardize social and political stability. Researchers highlight the connection between emotions, sentiments, and political security risks. To address this, this paper introduces a novel framework that predicts political security threats using a hybrid approach combining lexicon-based analysis and machine learning in cyberspace. The decision tree, Naive Bayes, and support vector machine classifiers are also employed. Experimental analysis demonstrates that the hybrid lexicon-based approach with decision tree achieves the highest performance in predicting political security threats, emphasizing the framework's effectiveness.

Aggressive Trajectory Tracking for Nano Quadrotors Using Embedded Nonlinear Model Predictive Control 1

This paper presents an aggressive trajectory tracking method for a small lightweight nano-quadrotor using nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) based on acados. Controlling a nano quadrotor for accurate trajectory tracking at high speed in dynamic environments is challenging due to complex aerodynamic forces that introduce significant disturbances and large positional tracking errors. These aerodynamic effects are difficult to be identified and require feedback control that compensates for them in real time. NMPC allows the nano-quadrotor to control its motion in real time based on onboard sensor measurements, making it well-suited for tasks such as aggressive maneuvers and navigation in complex and dynamic environments. The software package acadosenables the implementation of the NMPC algorithm on embedded systems, which is particularly important for nano-quadrotor due to its limited computational resources. Our autonomous navigation system is developed based on an AI-deck that is a GAP8-based parallel ultra-low power computing platform with onboard sensors of a multi-ranger deck and a flow deck. The proposed method of NMPC-based trajectory tracking control is tested in simulation and the results demonstrate its effectiveness in trajectory tracking while considering the dynamic environments. It is also tested on a real nano quadrotor hardware, 27-g Crazyflie 2.1, with a customized MCU running embedded NMPC, in which accurate trajectory tracking results are achieved in dynamic real-world environments.

This research has explored capturing the motion of the human arm, and after a series of approaches, the two most vigorous methods have been proven to be: motion capturing method using the video camera Microsoft Kinect, that was initially developed for use as game controller and motion capturing method that does not involve video, but a group of rotary linear potentiometers, known for their major performance in the domain of robotics. In the video-based motion capture, the interpretation of the arm's joints and elements, with their movements on the three spatial axis is done with the help of the MATLAB environment, while the potentiometer-based motion capture, the angles are measured by the potentiometers themselves, the data being sent from the potentiometers to a computer's serial monitor through an Arduino development board. In all motion capture cases, the arm from which the motion is captured, has a well-established set of movements and trajectories. For the potentiometer-based motion capture, the arm is wearing an exoskeleton type of device, designed specifically for the task of motion capture, which includes the rotary potentiometers, for each joint and its possible motions, so that the shoulder has three potentiometers, the elbow has one, and the wrist has another one that measures the rotation of the forearm on the three spatial axes.

This paper proposes the hardware and software architecture approach to fulfill the requirements of smart and intelligent building automation in current trend of construction technology. This paper is concerned with monitoring and controlling of various modules used in the building automation system (BAS). BAS is attractive to facility manager and popular, because it helps in operational effectiveness of the building. Hence BAS must be optimized, well-designed, and well implemented. A measurement tool in the form of a performance index is used to improve the level of automation in a building. The aim of this paper is to describe the implementation of BAS using ARM controllers and wired and wireless nodes to develop building control application. Communication between main control station (server) and nodes (controllers, sensors, actuators) is established using wired channel (RS-485) and wireless channel (ZigBee). The device connected to RS-485 bus can communicate in half duplex mode with any other devices. The ZigBee is used for low cost, low power, and for short range communication. The security feature can be improved by using different access modes like developer and user mode. Therefore the above mentioned system (BAS) effectively monitors and controls different modules/nodes on single platform. The hardware and software architecture proposed plays vital role in implementation of BAS to address the quality issues like platform dependency, complexity, flexibility, security, power, etc.

Currently, the organization of remote learning in physical education based on the latest possibilities of information technology in higher education institutions is heuristic. The purpose of the work is the development and approval of the model of the use of information technology for the implementation of the remote educational process in physical education in institutions of higher technical education. The "Learning and Development" (abbreviated "L&D") model, formed in business structures to ensure professional development, was taken as the basis of the model for the use of information technology. According to the L&D model, an action algorithm with four components was proposed. The first is the creation of a strategy for the use of information technology for effective remote learning in physical education. The second is to ensure the information competence of students and teachers for conducting online classes. The third is the creation of conditions for the individualization of remote learning. The fourth is to ensure reliable and objective monitoring of remote classes. The components and implementation conditions of each component were examined in detail and their approval was carried out. The L&D model of information technology use allows to create a system of information and technological support for the remote educational process in physical education and to increase the level of student satisfaction with the remote form of learning.

This study presents a novel approach to creating lightweight corrugated sandwich panels using additive manufacturing, inspired by eco-friendly green sandwiches composed of Oak-tree cupules as core elements and balsa face sheets. The bio-inspired structures were fabricated using the Multi Jet Fusion method, employing Nylon PA12 GB infused with 40% glass beads. Through experimental evaluation, the quasi-static compressive characteristics and energy absorption behavior of the bio-inspired sandwich panels were examined to analyze the impact of geometrical dimensions on their ability to withstand compressive loads and absorb energy. Results indicate that the printed panels outperformed the bio-based samples of identical dimensions, demonstrating approximately five times greater peak load and energy absorption. Additionally, the performance of the printed panels regarding load capacity and energy absorption was found to be influenced by their geometrical dimensions.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant health, social, and economic disruptions globally, exposing healthcare systems' vulnerabilities and disparities in healthcare access and outcomes. The global response to the pandemic has included a variety of measures, including public health interventions, social distancing measures, travel restrictions, and vaccine campaigns. Mathematical and computer modeling has played a crucial role in understanding and combatting the pandemic. The Russian war in Ukraine has caused immense difficulties for medical personnel and severely impacted the accessibility and availability of medical care, disrupting the country's COVID-19 vaccination and prevention efforts. The paper aims to assess the impact of the Russian war in Ukraine on the COVID-19 epidemic process in Canada. We used forecasting methods based on statistical machine learning to build a COVID-19 distribution model. Results showed high accuracy in predicting cumulative new cases and deaths in Canada for 30 days. The model was then applied to the first 30 days of the full-scale Russian invasion to Ukraine, and the study concluded that forced migration of Ukrainians to Canada did not have a significant impact on the epidemic's dynamics. The study's experimental results suggest that the developed model can be used in public health practice.

Existing data trading markets trade source data, which inevitably raises the issue of data ownership, and more recently model trading markets, which trade on machine learning models that guarantee the ownership of the data owner, have become increasingly popular. However, there are still difficulties in the assessment of the utility of the model and the distribution of market benefits. In this paper, we design a framework for a model trading market (MDB) that considers the interaction between data providers and broker. We evaluate the utility of the model in a variety of ways, including data quality, privacy protection needs, and the number of data providers, and reveal the dynamic decision-making process of data providers as they trade off the utility of privacy against the utility of data compensation. At the same time, we analyze the optimal allocation compensation strategy of brokers to maximize the welfare of the whole market. The feasibility and effectiveness of the MDB model trading market are demonstrated by numerical results.

The framework further leverages ensemble classifiers to refine prediction accuracy, addressing the real-world complexities of variable lighting and environmental conditions. In its entirety, the research offers a scalable, accurate, and systematic approach to automated plant disease detection, with implications for bolstering global food security and sustainable agriculture.
