With social media becoming ubiquitous, disinformation such as fake news has become rampant and consequently increased the importance of an effective fake news detection methodology. One of the key challenges faced by researchers is the lack of sufficient labeled data making semi-supervised learning increasingly important for social media data. Non-latent content features differ in fake and real news but at the same time suffer from the high-dimensional nature of text data. In the last decade, metaheuristics research has proved itself to be an effective option for optimization in feature selection. The Co-GA framework described in this paper combined co-training-based semi-supervised learning with bio-inspired metaheuristics for optimization in feature selection. To the best of our knowledge, such an approach has not been attempted so far in disinformation research. The efficacy of this approach has been proved for fake news detection tasks for an article dataset as well as a tweet dataset. This approach can be readily adapted for other learning tasks in social media where sufficient strong supervision is lacking.

Building a large-scale knowledge graph in the fashion domain can be advantageous for further applications such as recommendations and searches. The paper proposes an approach to building an ontology for the field of fashion. First, a literature review on the construction and applications of ontologies in the fashion domain has been performed. Then we analyze fashion-related entities and attributes and make knowledge acquisition for domain ontology construction. The ontology has been formally defined according to the RDF standard. Finally, the ontology was evaluated with datasets consisting of fashion products.

This article examines the ethical challenges and managerial implications resulting from the application of artificial intelligence in digital marketing. Its purpose is to analyze the influence of artificial intelligence on the strategies of digital marketing and suggest ways, and companies can responsibly use to face these challenges. To achieve this, a documentary research methodology was performed. The results of the review highlighted three major ethical challenges: privacy, transparency, and discrimination. Privacy concerns the way of collecting and using personal data in AI-powered digital marketing practices. Transparency is critical as consumers need to know about the AI algorithms and decision-making processes behind targeted marketing efforts. Discrimination refers to potential prejudices and unfairness that AI algorithms can create. Companies need to recognize these challenges, mitigate risks, and establish mechanisms to ensure ethical practices in their AI-powered digital marketing strategies. Marketers should take a responsible and ethical approach when implementing AI, considering its potential impact on privacy, transparency, and fairness. At a societal level, we need regulations and standards that manage the utilization of artificial intelligence in digital marketing, promote ethical behavior, and protect consumer rights. The novelty of this article reside in the fact that we have integrated of the fields of digital marketing and artificial intelligence to address the resulting ethical challenges.

The objective of this study is to understand the sensory experience, regarding the use of sound inside the ZARAstore, to determine the genre of music, as well as the influence on the consumer's purchase decision. As methodology, a quantitative methodological approach was developed, through an online survey, in a random sample of customers and consumers of Zara. A total of 221 valid answers were collected. The results obtained were relevant to achieve a greater awareness of the impact of sound on the consumer's sensory experience, as well as to identify good practices to improve the atmosphere of commercial spaces.

During the pandemic, distance education was transformed from an adjunct to a main educational method, due to the social distancing required to limit the spread of the disease. This change brought to the educational community heaps of issues to be resolved and issues particularly important for the effectiveness of learning processes. The aim of the present research is to investigate the psychological and social impact of the SARS-CoV2 - COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic in the educational community of Greek Public Institutes of Vocational Training (PIVT), using qualitative analysis. The interview was carried out on a sample of seventeen (17) students of PIVT, with the aim of investigating their opinions and the attitude they demonstrate towards distance education, as well as a sample of 17 teachers with the aim of investigation the attitude of teachers towards the implementation of distance education, its benefits, or negative consequences for the educational community of the PIVT. The results of the qualitative analysis demonstrate that insufficient material and technical infrastructure, reduced skills of instructors, previous experience of students in such educational models and difficulties in laboratory courses, were key factors according to the students' responses, for their reduced performance. Although the participants recognize the positive elements of distance teaching, such as and the familiarity they have acquired with new technologies, they choose the standard in-person teaching. The lecturers argue that the students' performance showed a decline, since the students were removed from the physical learning environment and the degree of communication decreased.

Climate change, limited natural resources, and the increase in the world's population impose society to produce food more sustainably, with lower energy and water consumption. The use of robots in agriculture is one of the most promising solutions to change the paradigm of agricultural practices. Agricultural robots should be seen as a way to make jobs easier and lighter, and also a way for people who do not have agricultural skills to produce their food. The PixelCropRobot is a low-cost, open-source robot that can perform the processes of monitoring and watering plants in small gardens. This work proposes a mission supervisor for PixelCropRobot, and general agricultural robots, and presents a prototype of user interface to this mission supervision. The communication between the mission supervisor and the other components of the system is done using ROS2 and MQTT, and mission file standardized. The mission supervisor receives a prescription map, with information about the respective mission, and decomposes them into simple tasks. An A* algorithm then defines the priority of each mission that depends on factors like water requirements, and distance travelled. This concept of mission supervisor was deployed into the PixelCropRobot and was validated in real conditions, showing a enormous potential to be extended to other agricultural robots.

The notion of a continuous MV-valued fuzzy relation in Chang topological fuzzy space is defined, and the category Top of these spaces with continuous fuzzy relations as morphisms is presented. Equivalent conditions are presented for the fuzzy relation between two fuzzy topological structures to be continuous. Two special subcategories of Top are introduced, based on the category of fuzzy approximation spaces and the category of fuzzy partitions, both with fuzzy relations as morphisms.

The work investigated the effective optical constants of dielectric films with an embedded quasicrystalline layer of nanoobjects. The limits of applicability of the effective medium method, which consists in replacing the nanostructured system with a homogeneous film with an effective refractive index, have been studied. It is shown that, based on dielectric non-dispersive components, a non-absorbing metamaterial with frequency dispersion of the effective refractive index can be obtained. #CSOC1120

Nowadays, the poor quality of service offer by the municipal staff is caused by the number of documentary errors like not knowing the structures of the forms they manage or the poor knowledge they manage about the procedures of the area they work, for that reason the implementation of an e-learning system for the training of the staff of the desk area of the municipality of Los Olivos will be presented. The ability of an e-learning system to train municipal officials will enable them to reduce the number of errors and become efficient workers serving the public. This system was developed with framework Scrum. In the case of the tools, we used for the implementation were the following softwares: wordpress, draw IO, Microsoft 365 and figma. The results were evaluated, and the implementation of an e-learning system improved the training of the officials in the Front Desk department of LosOlivos by 35%, as the virtualization of the resources managed by this system helped efficiently manage aspects such as content, grading indicators, and boosted operational development, resulting in their effectiveness.

Infrared thermography (IRT) is a non-invasive imaging technique that enables qualitative and quantitative temperature analysis. In some thermographic applications, geometry and spatial relationships are crucial for analyzing surfaces and localizing thermal defects. These include photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems, a rapidly expanding sector in response to the growing demand for renewable energy that requires fast and accurate monitoring technologies for maintenance operations. This research aims to develop a technology to monitor the operation of solar modules and possible anomalies by simultaneously acquiring aerial images by connecting optical and thermal infrared sensors to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), obtaining thermal orthoimages as output. Results indicate significant improvements in accuracy and reproducibility, making this methodological approach a promising option for rapid monitoring compared to other current alternatives, making consumer-grade thermal imaging cameras accessible for thermal orthoimage generation.
