Recent and past studies clearly mentioned the influence of health on activities. However, according to the author view and recent studies, there has been limited studies which shows the influence of daily activities on health parameters. Besides, activity participation is complex which don't influence health directly. Therefore, the current study aim to investigate the influence of daily time-use and activity travel participation (ATP) on health parameters using intensity of physical activity at leisure time as intermediate variable using multi-dimensional three-week household survey. 191 houses and 732 persons in all were counted, which corresponds to 0.029% of the BMA's entire population. The association between activity patterns and health factors is validated using the hierarchical Structural Equation Model (SEM). According to the projected results, a minute increase in public transport mode makes a 0.088 positive correlation with physical health and 0.090 with social health, whereas the total travel time of 0.05 negatively affects physical health. Additionally, there is a strong correlation between improved physical and social health and the accessibility and availability of essential facilities within walking distance. This study employed interdisciplinary techniques that are required to be built to achieve better transportation policy and a healthier society with a higher quality of life.

This research intends to validate the self-tuning test developed by Astrom and Hagglund in 1984, known as the relay feedback method, with the self-tuning used by the industrial level Programmable Logic Controllers. The methodology used was experimental, analysis and diagnostic;a series of measurements of the process (monovariable level) was obtained in open loop, by means of a Datalog, in csv format, for the treatment and obtaining of the model of space - state and thus to obtain the function of transference. The results of the calculation of the values of the constants Proportional gain, Integration constant and Derivation constant, were modeled in the application of the relay method (Astrom and Hagglund), to then load these parameters in the Simulink Proportional, Integral y Derivative_Controller and thus obtain as response the tuning curve of the process in simulated form;finally, these same constant values are entered manually as well as automatically in the Proportional, Integral y Derivative_Compact Version 2 of Tia Portal V16. The automatic tuning curve, as a response of the Proportional Integral and Derivate Optimizer, causes a much smoother behavior of the industrial process against set point changes as well as disturbances, with maximum values of over pulse, stabilization time and error within normalized ranges, because by Programmable logic controller design Proportional, Integral y Derivative_Compact Version 2 use weighting coefficients for both Proportional and Derivative Action, making the tuning resulting from the process much finer, generating the values of constants and weighting coefficients automatically.

Learning factories often focus on manual assembly systems to teach elementary production and lean principles. The implementation of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 is also creating new technological opportunities to optimise industrial workplaces. These optimisations generally aim to avoid errors and improve quality or minimise manufacturing costs. In the course of this growing technification of manual workplaces, the needs of workers are often insufficiently considered. This is a problem because these new technologies also have their downsides. Examples of this can be the usual work process changes, employees feel monitored, etc. Classical approaches to production optimisation only take these factors into account to a limited extent. With Design Thinking, a methodology is currently establishing in companies that shows promising results for the user-centred solution of complex problems. The question is whether and how Design Thinking can be used in the context of assembly optimisation to improve user-centricity in this typically technical process. For this purpose, the classic Design Thinking approach is adapted to assembly optimisation and tested in the context of manual assembly in a learning factory. The article concludes with a critical reflection of the findings.

Human beings often face decision problems involving sequential selections with incomplete information and a trade-off between exploring different options and committing to the current best option. These problems have been called "The Secretary Problem" in Economics, and while their research yielded optimal mathematical solutions, bounded rational agents such as human beings behave sub-optimally in such scenarios. In this work, we seek to explore the problem through the lenses of its neurophysiological markers and contribute new insights to understanding the decision-making process. Specifically, we used an EEG to record the participants' brain patterns while engaged in a "Secretary Problem" task and analyze their brain signals, such as Theta and Beta bands. Our analysis yields two exciting results: (1) the cognitive load associated with the decision-making process varies during the task. In the early and later stages of the selection process, more cognitive resources are being invested than in the middle stages of the experiment. (2) There is a consistent increase in the Theta band power as the number of offers increases, which hints at an increasing need to invest more cognitive resources as the task progresses. These insights have practical implications for the construction of strategic automated agents.

Facilitating precise writing proficiency in early learners is crucial for their foundational development and cognitive abilities. While traditional handwriting instruction methods are valuable, they may not always provide the specific validation needed to ensure accuracy. Traditional handwriting methods can be slow and often lack personalized feedback, which is important for effective learning. This study presents a method for teaching young learners how to write correctly by offering an interactive user interface in which new learners try to imitate the displayed word while the model checks their imitation and provides constant feedback on the handwritten word at the character level. Assessing children's handwriting is tricky compared to adults because their letters can be hard to distinguish. Creating a model to evaluate children's handwriting could change how we teach and evaluate writing skills. It could make education more efficient and effective. This paper explores various methods for evaluating handwritten words at the character level. First, the K-nearest neighbors (KNN) model is considered, known for its ability to distinguish similar and dissimilar items. However, KNN faces challenges in handling numerous classes and adapting to new data. The second approach is considered to have a Siamese-based twin network consisting of three CNNs and two LSTM layers. This model exhibits promise, achieving over 90% accuracy on training and validation sets. Nevertheless, it encounters difficulties with new, unseen data. The approach considered in this paper presents a simple yet robust model, featuring three CNN layers, one flattened layer, and two dense layers. This model effectively classifies all 52 character classes. Notably, the CNN-based model attains an impressive 96% accuracy on both test and validation sets, even when dealing with handwriting style it has not encountered before. There is no doubt that tourism benefits Portugal's economy. The area should be able to better target the market for its travel and tourist products and increase its performance with the use of a marketing strategy, especially in a field where global competition is always increasing. This digital marketing plan seeks to analyze the strengths and limitations of the Portuguese region in its target markets, as well as the most current advancements in the global travel and tourism sector. Furthermore, the work provides the prospective avenues for product growth and marketing following the markets' stated growth objectives. This project comprises creating a comprehensive digital marketing strategy for Casa Pereirinha as a significant example of the region's tourism business, and the primary purpose is to conserve its past, while developing a new strategy.

In this work, we present the preliminary results from an exploratory experiment in which we studied the influence of exposing students to a personal emotional score on their classroom learning. This score derived from deep learning algorithms is presented to students on a computer screen while they are learning in a classroom. With the advent of deep learning models for the classification of emotions, it is now possible to gauge emotions in real-time. Most of these algorithms depend on facial expressions to identify human emotional and attentional levels. Such algorithms are even being integrated within video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Teams, etc. to quantify if the participants in the meeting are attentive. The assumption here is that our facial expressions reflect our emotions. The hypotheses tested by this study is a) if such algorithms accurately reflect human emotions, and b) if the very act of showing such a metric to learners (students in a classroom) will influence their cognitive learning capabilities. We conducted the experiment in a freshman-year undergraduate class where students were asked to compile a bibliography, read the research papers and annotate them, and then write a summary. We used a state-of-the-art deep neural network trained on thousands of face images in multiple orientations to detect seven basic human emotions (neutral, happiness, sadness, anger, surprise, disgust, and fear) from the students' facial expressions. Students' facial images were captured in realtime through their laptop's camera. The experimental group of students were presented with their emotional scores and labels while they were working in the class. The control group of students were not exposed to this information. After each class, we asked all students to do a self-assessment of scores and asked for the instructor's assessment of the students' work as well. Elliptic intuitionistic fuzzy sets, one of the recent extensions of intuitionistic fuzzy sets, were introduced by Atanassov in 2021 for a flexible description of fuzzy environments. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) establishes if a given factor significantly affects the process or event under investigation. An index-matrix approach of Elliptic Intuitionistic Fuzzy Analysis of Variance (E-IFANOVA) is introduced in this study for the first time, by expanding the Circular Intuitionistic Fuzzy Analysis of Variance (C-IFANOVA). Three scenarios are presented to the decision maker for a final decision: medium, optimistic and pessimistic. The conventional analysis of variance and the suggested E-IFANOVA are used to show how the factor "geographic segmentation" affects the net revenue of the Samsung corporation for the years 2020-2023. The paper's uniqueness is in its application of the particular E-IFANOVA to the Samsung net revenue for the 2020-2023 period, taking into account the geographic segmentation factor.

Community-based and service-learning have now emerged as powerful means for fostering sustainable development. Community-based service-learning programs are considered a practical means of advancing sustainable development. This paper examines the influence of these programs on students' participation in accomplishing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 (Quality Education) and 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities). We tried to adopt an Empirical based Model approach to study the influence of community (Community-Based Learning) and service-based learning projects on student participation in sustainable development initiatives. The research aims to identify the benefits of community-based learning (CBL) and its current limitations in fostering sustainable development. We collected data from students in colleges and universities to shed light on their involvement in CBL activities and how their peers' participation influences their engagement. Students recognize the importance of individual action and learning from peers in promoting sustainable development. Institutions should include service-learning programs to enhance education quality and prompt curriculum redesign to include practical experiences related to SDGs.
